Did anyone watch last nites show. I thought Andrew Lloyd Webber did a good job mentoring the "idols". I thought the two most vulnerable to go are Jason and much as I hate to say it Brooke will be in the bottom 2. Brooke is a favorite of mine and I'd hate to see her go. Anyone else watch who do you think will go?
Hey lulu... Well you know from my previous comments who I am backing.. What maybe you might not know including the judges is she nailed that the other night. I have listened to the Evita soundtrack inside out and saw the musical twice... She totally nailed that song..It is sung in an unusual style...Maybe Youtube the Madonna version from the movie Evita.. I do not think the judges really had a handle on the actual song... As far as her starting over...Made me respect her even more...Talk about guts ... There in my opinion is still something very very special about her voice.. Is she the most talented on the show...NO....Will she win..NO....But something tells me that if she just calmed down,got some good people on her team,some good songwriting she could become something very special... She might not win but for me it will be the special sound of Brookes voice that I will take away... If you have the time...Youtube her and listen to that Let it Be version again...That was before her nerves started to wear her down... For me...Gotta love her but as you know I always got that girl thing going on.....Go Cassie Campbell...Bob
Hi Bob. I really like Brooke too. I thought her version of Let It Be should have been a single for her it would have done well on the charts I believe. I can't believe Jason is still around. To me, he is so weak vocally yet he keeps returning like a bad potato. I hope David Cook wins as to me he is at the moment a gifted singer and probable songwriter (the way he rearranged that one song was great). I hope Brooke gets a recording contract. She may win too you know and I would not be disappointed if she did. Jim thinks David A. will win as he has the young vote. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I heard Michael Johns is getting a recording contract....have you heard this as well?
YES.. I agree David should win for his overall performance night in and out BUT..... I don't think I will ever own one of his CD,s...Now Brooke...Give her some nice ballad style stuff with that raspy voice thing going and I am hooked...Bob
Did anyone watch AI last nite. I was so mad to see Brooke go and have Jason remain there. America got it wrong last nite. Maybe Jason has such a following he may win this competition. I was very disappointed.
Brooke is probably the next Carol King, her out printed old cd on amazon is selling for almost 30 bucks. I don't wish him any harm but I hope Tiny Tim Dreadlocks is off the show soon.You should have to be 18 to vote.
Brooke was on Ellen yesterday and she sang "You're so Vain " by Carly Simon and she did a wonderful job. I have a feeling she too will get a record deal we will just have to wait and see. I still can't believe that Brooke was voted off and Jason is still there...weird.
Actually even though he was not very good I kind of found him funny...Sometimes when you dislike somebody you tend not to see anything you like about him or her... Having said that, maybe you disliked him so much you could not see his humour...Cindy and I both laughed like crazy for about the last 3 weeks when he was being judged.He seemed so laid back easy going and funny.. The best one was when see said when voted off that he did not know how he could go about having to do 3 songs next week...Yes..I was glad to see him FINALLY go but have to say I loved his outlook on the whole thing...Bob
