The 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air Sunday, April 7 at 8:00pm ET live on CBS-TV.
The awards air from 8:00 - 11:00pm ET/PT so we'll have to wait until 10:55 to see her! Entertainer Of The Year is always the last award to be presented.
For those of you who get GAC TV, "ACM Red Carpet Live" airs from 6:30-8:00pm ET/PT. Watch for Shania!
Tommy make sure to record the clip if you get the chance. Maybe she might discuss album plans ?? Interesting to see! Thanks
Perez has his info wrong. It hasn't been 10 years since Shania attended the ACM Awards. She attended in 2007 and presented Entertainer Of The Year award to Kenny Chesney.
I wonder how Perez knows stuff about Shania before Vegas celebrity reporter Robin Leach? Remember Perez was first to report Shania's Las Vegas residency 8 months before it became official.
Gossip guru Perez Hilton claims Caesars Palace headliner Shania Twain will present at Sunday's ACMA MGM show 1st time in 10 years
Perez Hilton said 10 years I remembered 2007. The Weird thing is why would Shania Twain's official Facebook page post Perez Hilton announcement and agree to the ten years. She has a horrible management running the Facebook page.

And we always hear news from second-hand sources first. Rarely do we ever gets news directly from Shania's team.
Why is Perez the only one reporting this? There's nothing even from the ACM Awards or CBS.
Just saw a commercial on CBS. Shania was mentioned!

ACM Awards 2013 worst dressed: Shania Twain, Kaley Cuoco and more
By Jacqueline Cutler | April 7, 2013 8:59 PM ET
The "48th Annual American Country Music Awards" are pretty much the anti-Oscars, fashion-wise. Country singers have their own code of style, and if the glossy magazines and fashionistas don't like it, well they don't much care.
Tobi Lee of Mustang. Where do we begin? The sequined animal print. Snakeskin? Leopard? This could be why they are endangered. The bustier, the neon orange belt, the three-tiered tutu skirt and drag queen bondage shoes all make for a memorable outfit, but not for the way anyone wants to be remembered.
Shania Twain's strapless and shapeless black dress with over-the-knee boots is just a strange mix of two pieces that do not belong together on one person at the same time.
Kaley Cuoco looks like she's taking style tips from Miley Cyrus, and that is not a good thing. The hair? The push-up halter gown? She's another one who looks good in pretty much anything, but not this gown that looks as if it is going to transform into something else.
Meghan Linsey's white gown would have worked with just the black lacy trim at the neckline but that apron of black lace makes the trim singer look as if she has to fetch drinks for everyone else.
Joey Martin Feek always wears overalls, but really for a red carpet, in Vegas? Couldn't he have worn something that would not be appropriate for repairing the roof? And Rory Lee Feek's dress, orange on top, bleeding to light blue to midnight and fringe is also not dressy.
Here is GAC's interview with Shania on the Red Carpet. Don't ask me why they didn't air it during their "ACM Red Carpet Live" show. I love how Shania brushes off the new music mention at the end. LOL!
IT HASN'T BEEN 10 YEARS! Why doesn't anyone (including Shania) remember she was there in 2007???
Shania Twain Returns to the ACM Awards – 10 Years Later
By Alison Schwartz | 04/08/2013 at 12:10 AM EDT
She's still the one! After a decade away from the Academy of Country Music Awards stage (or, "10 freakin' years," as pointed out by co-host Blake Shelton), Shania Twain returned to the Las Vegas awards show Sunday night. And all we have to say is this: Exactly how long is a decade? The country singer – who presented entertainer of the year, the night's top honor, to co-host Luke Bryan – looked as fabulous and flawless as ever in a black strapless dress, over-the-knee boots and an untamed wavy hairdo.
Of course, the "You're Still the One" singer (who took home the major award herself in 1999) has seen plenty of milestones in that time frame: a divorce, a new marriage and her own Las Vegas show. (She has also seemingly ditched her flat iron.) "Thank you," Twain, 47, told the audience as she took the stage. "It's just so great to be back here after all these years at the ACMs."

Shania Twain has proven that after more than a decade since winning the title of entertainer of the year at the ACMs, she's still the one.
The 47-year-old country star wowed in a short strapless dress, which also featured a sexy cutout back, on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nev., last night. Twain, who presented entertainer of the year -- the night's top honor -- to co-host Luke Bryan, paired her look with sexy thigh-high boots and super wavy locks.
"Thank you," she told the audience as she took the stage. "It's just so great to be back here after all these years at the ACMs."
The "You're Still The One" singer took home the coveted entertainer of the year award in 1999, following the success of her album "Come On Over."

You're still the one, Shania Twain!
This woman does NOT age!!!
Wearing a semi-sheer black mini dress, the 47-year-old walked the ACM Awards red carpet in thigh-high boots last night looking like someone half her age!
We're not exactly the biggest fan of this ensem, but we can't fault Shania for showing off what she's got! She's giving the younger girls some major competition with her ageless beauty!
Her curls and natural makeup looked absolutely gorgeous though!
Shania, Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill on the Red Carpet. The photographers sound like a bunch of wild animals!
I could not stop laughting because Faith and Carrie were getting photos then Shania shows up they go nuts and it was like she the boss LOL
2013 ACM Awards on CBS draws highest ratings in 15 years
By Robin Leach | Posted April 8, 2013 • 2:29 p.m.
Country conquered in the network TV races Sunday night, swooping up nearly 14 million viewers. The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards walloped the competition with giant ratings, giving CBS a dominant first-place win for the head-to-head primetime battle.
The ACM Awards was the night’s top program in viewers and demographics, with the highest number of viewers since the 1998 broadcast. Sunday night’s broadcast also marked the first time that the ACM Awards beat the same season’s Country Music Awards in the ratings categories since the advent of people meters.
“Wow,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of ACM. “We knew we had a great plan to get the word out to music fans to watch, but the fact that they embraced us on this level just makes us want to reach higher next year.” The ACM Awards also broke records online and on social media, coming in No. 1 in the week’s Top 10 Social Shows, with 1.9 million social media comments and 619.4 million impressions – ahead of the 2013 NCAA championships, NBA, MLB and “The Voice.”
I guess Shania might have been on "Access Hollywood" tonight. Here is a video interview.
Shania Twain -- 'It's Amazing' Having A Vegas Show
Shania Twain chats with Access guest correspondent RaeLynn (a former "Voice" contestant and up-and-coming country singer) about her show at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Plus, what does she think about Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan hosting the ACMs?
Shaniafan wrote:Did anyone else notice Eja and maybe Carrie Ann in the front row next to Shania? I thought I saw them when Miranda Lambert was walking by them to accept an award (maybe song or record of the year). I couldn't get a real good look and was just wondering if anybody else saw this?

I went back and looked and you're right! When Miranda walked by to accept Single Record Of The Year, that was Eja and Carrie Ann next to Shania! Cool! They weren't sitting there the whole time though. Faith and Tim must have been backstage for a little while. Eja is probably on Spring Break.
Shania Twain says wrong name as Luke Bryan wins Entertainer of the Year
By Mandy Robinson | April 7, 2013
Tonight was the big American Country Music Awards for 2013. On this April 7 show, Luke Bryan was crowned as the Entertainer of the Year for the first time. Shania Twain gave the award to him, but she made a small mistake when giving it out.
Shania had not been at the show for 10 years. She must not be keeping up with country music either. Luke was one of the nominees and she had a piece of paper in her hand with the winner. When she read it off, she said that the winner was Luke Bryant. There is no T on the end of his name at all.
Luke didn't seem to notice it though. He was very emotional about his win and did cry a few tears. He loves what he does and feels blessed that country music lets him do it every single day.
Did you notice Shania's little mistake at the ACMs?
Who gives a crap, She showed up they should be greatful she even attented. Not trying to be saucy but Country music has never accepted Shania Twain for years and she makes a simple mistake then people wanna correct it. I mispronunce names all the time. Go find someone else to pick on because the crap Shania has had to deal with in her life we should be greatful she still has the courage to attend the awards.
Ellen's correspondent meets Shania on the Red Carpet. Skip to 2:27 mark.
The Next CoverGirl, Alexis, at the ACM Awards!
Just saw an amazing performance @ShaniaTwain in Vegas. She said her favorite part of the ACMawards was @LukeBryanOnline crying on her shoulder☺

2013 Academy Of Country Music Awards
Shania Twain won Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards 14 years ago, and last night in Las Vegas the Canadian country singer proved why she's "Still The One" getting the honour of handing out the night's biggest trophy.

Luke Bryan's Big Night!
Luke Bryan scored a major career milestone when he took home the Entertainer of the Year trophy at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
Luke tells Country Weekly that he was “one thousand percent” surprised at the big honor. “Your whole life of dreams kind of flashes before your eyes,” he says.
But even though the honor might have been unexpected, he sees no reason to question the timing of the award.
He adds, “It’s the pinnacle of what you can want to achieve in this business, in my opinion.”
