So could her live album be on ITunes album charts? Billboard perhaps? How does it work where it's a live album of old tracks? Thanks

Since at this time the CD version has not been made available in the US iTunes store, it will not make the 'albums' charts. It is listed as a "Concert Film" in the iTunes US store. So, it is very possible we could see it climb that chart of releases once it actually is available for download. Billboard carries compilation albums on their overall albums chart (like Greatest Hits). However they only chart studio releases. So, no, the Live album will not be seen on Billboard. Which, could also be another reason as to why it is only being promoted in the US via radio stations. Usually when a studio album charts, television appearances will be scheduled so that the artist can discuss the album and accompany their "interview" if you will,  by a live performance.

Shania's "Live From Vegas" CD IS on the Billboard Charts. It's at No. 2 in only its second week on the Top Country Albums Chart!

Viva 'Las Vegas'! Shania Twain Vaults 31-2 on Top Country Albums

By Gary Trust | March 12, 2015 5:00 PM EDT

Shania Twain scores her highest rank in more than a decade on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, as Shania: Still the One: Live From Las Vegas rockets 31-2 in its second chart week (9,000 sold, up 622 percent, according to Nielsen Music).

The set serves as a souvenir of her two-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and features six of her seven Hot Country Songs No. 1s, all tallied in 1995-98. (Of her leaders, only the folky "No One Needs to Know" is absent from the album. It does include her 33rd and most recent Hot Country Songs hit, "Today Is Your Day," which reached No. 36 in 2011, as well as the de facto title cut, her 1998 No. 1 ballad "You're Still the One.")

Twain had last ranked as high as No. 2 on Top Country Albums with her previous entry, 2004's Greatest Hits, which held the No. 2 spot on the chart dated Feb. 19, 2005, after an 11-week fun at No. 1. Her smash 1997 album Come On Over is the second-best-selling set in the U.S. (15.6 million) since Nielsen began tracking sales in 1991; it trails only Metallica's self-titled 1991 release (16.1 million).

Twain has sold more albums than any other female country artist in that period and is the fifth-best-selling country act overall, after Garth Brooks (70.4 million; the top sum among all artists); George Strait (45.8 million); Tim McGraw (42.4 million); and Alan Jackson (40.8 million). She's the 15th-best-selling album artist among all acts in Nielsen history.

Twain's chart action adds to her renewed profile. As previously reported, she'll hit the road for her first North American tour in more than 10 years when her 48-date Rock This Country Tour begins on June 5 in Seattle. It's scheduled to wrap on Aug. 23 in Fresno, Calif.

Wow, cool! I'm glad the album is doing well. I'm curious as to what the actual sales are so far. I'm also curious about how this author is comparing to Shan to Garth et al. - are these only US album sales? Because she has reportedly sold 75 million worldwide, which I'm sure ousts Alan Jackson and probably Tim McGraw.

Yes, Billboard is U.S. only. I think Shania has sold 40.2 million albums in the U.S..

The Canadian country superstar's Vegas show hits Blu-ray next month.

In an early announcement to retailers, Eagle Rock Entertainment will be releasing 'Shania Twain: Still the One Live From Vegas' on Blu-ray on April 7

The show – a powerful journey through Shania’s biggest hits, country favorites, and beloved crossover songs – features a 13-piece live band, dancers, trained horses, a flying motorcycle and plenty of Vegas flash.

That does not make sense at all lol on hitsdailydouble it is at #22 . And how can it be at #55 if Jason Aldean is much higher than her on the billboard top 200 but she is ahead of him on the country album chart lol Her label does that stupidest things with her products. She releases different formats at different times at different stores lol so who really knows what is counted for what on the charts lol What a mess lol

AXS TV’s Busting Out Shania Twain, Josh Groban For Week Of May 4-10

by April Neale | April 24, 2015

TV Picks: We love, LOVE AXS TV and watched all of Coachella without having to use a public restroom or pay $5 for a bottle of water. It was amazing and reconfirmed my absolute boredom with Interpol. Seriously, can someone please just goose the lead singer? And Alabama Shakes! Such a great band, I really fell in love with them. It should be mandatory for state outline tattoos to be visible on arms like lead singer Brittany Howard does. The kids today have no idea where Missouri is.

But I digress, so here are AXS TV’s programming highlights for the week of May 4 to 10.

We begin with the ageless survivor Shania Twain. This woman has a portrait aging somewhere all Haggard like (not in the Merle way), as she defies physics and sails through time looking like a kid.

Just look:

Music Blu-ray Review: Shania Twain - Still the One - Live from Vegas

By Chaz Lipp | May 3, 2015

Country superstar Shania Twain looks and sounds great in the concert special Still the One: Live from Vegas, now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Eagle Rock Entertainment. The show was filmed during Twain’s two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas (2012-2014). After a period of personal and health-related setbacks (including a bout with vocal injury called dysphonia), the 105 Vegas shows marked a comeback for the singer. Fans will celebrate seeing and hearing Twain in top form once again. The expertly-staged concert features multiple costume changes, a small army of back-up singers and dancers, and a top-notch pro band.

The big hits are all present, including “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!,” “You’re Still the One,” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” Some lucky fans get to come up and accompany Twain for a low-key, campfire-style sing-along on “Come On Over.” Twain’s sister joins her for a brief a capella rendition of The Hollies’ “Carrie Anne,” dedicated to their mother. In fact, Twain’s short monologue about the unwavering support she received from her late mother (who passed before being able to witness her daughter’s stunning success) is an emotional highlight.

Eagle Rock’s Blu-ray presentation carries on their tradition of high-quality concert releases. The 1080p high definition transfer is every bit as sharp as a modern concert video should be. From the rippling musculature of the white horse Twain rides at onstage to every last sparkling sequined costume, fine details are reproduced beautifully. Audio options are DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround and uncompressed LPCM 2.0. Either track is an excellent choice, though the 5.1 really creates a crackling “live” experience.

For added value, Eagle Rock has included the hour-long documentary special “Backstage Pass.” This is a fan’s dream, with extensive footage of Twain preparing for the Vegas show. It’s a ‘fly on the wall’ glimpse into the artist’s creative process that shouldn’t be missed. As is frequently the case, Eagle Rock also includes a short booklet with concert photos and liner notes—always a nice touch, especially for a budget-friendly release.

Track Listing:

“I'm Gonna Getcha Good!”

“You Win My Love”

“Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)”

“Up!”

“The Good, The Bad, and The Sexy” (Interlude)

“I Ain't No Quitter”

“No One Needs to Know”

“Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?”

“Any Man of Mine”

“Shania Style” (Interlude)

“That Don't Impress Me Much”

“Honey, I'm Home”

“(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!”

“Shania Memories” (Interlude)

“Carrie Anne”

“Come On Over”

“Love Gets Me Every Time”

“Rock This Country!”

“Today Is Your Day”

“Black Horse, White Horse” (Interlude)

“You're Still the One”

“From This Moment On”

“Red Storm” (Interlude)

“Man! I Feel Like a Woman”
