I used to post at the Shania Forums but got banned for trying to oppose the little clique over their obsession over the Fan Club. I was just sick of the negativity and wanted to hear the otherside of the story. Shame really as there are some good members over there let down by poor moderators. I'm a member of the Norrth American board too but haven't posted there for quite a while.

HAHA! Everyone says the same thing about the forums! I hate that place! I will never go back there! I made one friggin' post a few months ago, and got ripped a new one by some Finnish man! What the heck!? They hate me there because I'm associated with the OFC, her management company, and her label. Well, whatever! They like to think they know what's best for Shania instead of the people she pays to represent her! LOL! I got banned from shaniafans last year! They said I was too "political"! All I did was make a comment when "Rock This Country" was up for Hillary Clinton's campaign! They were wondering if Shania approved that, and I confirmed she did and they got po'd and deleted my comments and booted me off! HAHA! Whateva!
I agree, the mods at the other Shania message forums are real wankers on power trips. I've heard ALOT of fans complain about them and their attitudes. If you don't think like they do and don't agree with them then they you're not welcome there. They really do think that they "own" Shania and they treat her like some inhuman perfect goddess instead of as a real live human being with faults and all. Shania herself must be creeped out by them and the way they treat her as if she's not even human. And possessive fans like that are probably a big reason why she often avoids fandom.
I got banned from Tommys once... My wife jumped on the laptop one night and stated that she agreed with me on an issue... Needless to say once I was allowed back on to the site I had to tell her she wasn't allowed on the site.
Did I drop the ball this year! I promised another fan I know we would go this year. I totally forgot. I used my week of paid vacation this week. Maybe we'll go next year. I've been wanting to take my car up to Canada ever since I heard Toyota doesn't sell my car up there and other owners are claiming they get ALOT of attention.
I'll put my profit sharing and end of the year bonus into my savings account. I'll use every dollar up there...maybe if you guys and gals are nice to us. Maybe I'll be kind of enough to buy lunch or breakfast for some.

ATTENTION!!! hey Bob and Joe ,you gotta go to the centre's web page to download the registration papers for the annuall convention before 30th of June, or else the price would be higher,so we gotta book our rooms,lets start our communication then. or if you wish to not paritcipate in this year's convention and you want to do our own convention he he i just thought that it would be nice to go during convention days to meet other shania freaks ..whoops i meant fans lol
