I don't think so....it's repeated several times and it includes a Bon Jovi video.  They've only been "Country" for a few months!  LOL!  laughing.gif

Yup, they've had this type of program on before.  It must be an updated verison.

I wonder how Shania will fair this time?  I think she finished 2nd to Keith Urban last time and had two top ten videos and another just outside the top ten.  Four total if I recall.  She is considered the sexiest country singer, but that comes with class and fun cheeky styling.  No trash or sleaze behavior from Shania unlike many of these new videos with people rolling around on the beach or in bed or any of the other butt shaking cheap tricks they use.  Shania is about looking good in her videos but not using cheap tricks, just giving you enough and not putting it all out there or being suggestive, so I'd be curious to see how the mentality in videos today will mix in.  What their new take will be.

This one is not too hard to call... Pretty easy to figure out that the following will all be  up there(in no particular order).... Keith,Kenny, Tim,Brad, Allan,Faith,LeAnn,Carrie,Martina,Sara and of course Shania.    Suppose I would call it Keith to come first since he usually does very well in these polls... Hey Friday night 10:00pm... What the heck... Almost better than those "late night" expensive TV movie rentals....   As far as the winner though...ME.... I get to watch 5 beautiful sexy ladies and just the opposite for the gals.. Remember folks..."fanatasizing is cheating"....NIGHT

So the establishment tops one over on Shania again using Faith? I think it is getting quite laughable how they can chastise Shania for her sex appeal and that oh so awful belly button yet we see results like this. And we know Shania has sexy videos, meaning she always tries to look her best but she is never sexual, there is a huge difference between sexy with class and someone who mimics or is suggestive and sexual in nature. The music video world is loaded with the latter and Shania does not partake in this style. She changed country music imaging forever and all these lists that slap her in the face are meaningless. No one tops Shania in this category or in several categories. Same old, same old.

With the exception of Shania's WHITE TRASH breast fondling in I ain't no quitter video I would agree with you TOTALLY... What that was all about I really don't know ,but it didn't impress me much, or many parents of young shania fans... As far as Faith continually beating Shania in these type of things, personally I feel it is a case that Faith is LOVED in the industry.. , I am sure you already know this.. Truth is Shania is not... Ever run into a drop dead beautiful woman that you can't stand?..Quickly her appeal is gone... Can't help but feel that is what might be going on here as well... PLEASE NOTE... This is not how I feel nor do I think most of her fans feel....BUT...There is a reason Shania doesn't see to take home the Gold medal anymore. Personally I think her peers within the industry are turning on her... Having said that, I really am not sure who really does the voting..I know there are alot of online voting polls by the fans for some countdowns... Shania losing in these type of polls is of course is of concern but losing some silly countdown that is voted on by industry persons for the sake of just having a countdown show doesn't mean much...Bob

Shania's always had trouble getting a fair shake from the establishment regardless. No gold medals anymore and never did they award her a video of the year award. How that has happened I'll never know?

As for the boob grab in I Ain't No Quitter. I too was initially shocked and not happy about that. Shania does have many children as fans. She never did stuff like that before. So you have this video incident plus she cussed harshly and dropped the F bomb on the 2005 CMT Music Awards with that Jeff Foxworthy skit as well as joined up with no good Jude Law in an R rated film where she did some extras with her flipping the middle finger and another clip with her in her bra caressing two men as babies. All this in 2004-05. Never had she done things that far over before.

I suppose maybe it is Shania trying to stay up with the times a bit. Maybe since she is known for being controlled, collected, and gathered, this is a way of her proving that she can let her hair down and not be so uptight? Poke a little fun. I've learned to see it as a comical gesture not meant to offend or be rude and crude in nature.

The boob grab in a way is like Shania making fun of her own self in her label as a "sex symbol" and tries to show the cheeky nature she has, the non serious approach to the image everyone labels her with. It wasn't a meant to be filthy or sexual gesture, just silly in nature. I know as a fan there isn't much to Shania in this manner and she doesn't take the image seriously as so many critics try to remind us about and chastise her for. Give me a break I say to these people.

Yet I still feel those moments would have been better without, totally unnecessary. Funny ha ha, I get it. No one is perfect and 99% of the time you know Shania makes good decisions, but you can't win them all. I hope she's over this little phase. Let's keep the wholesome Shania.

Hey 2nd... I have said before....I wish I could speak like you and having said that, you might want to look back into some postings of Chris...You should both be authors... Walter and I...Just slam it out there but it doesn't mean that our hearts are not in the same place... Having said that,your Foxworthy comment on that F word should allow tommy to allow this... I am so F"n confused right now I do not know what even to say... If there isn't a piece of you that understands Walters total bailout of  Shania this afternoon then I would be pretty surprised... Having said that...He won't ,and he knows it...WHY?...For the same reason that non of us will... Call it nuts/naive/stupid/dedicated or whatever but it is the truth....What should that tell us ALL??..... Nobody will ever touch us/moveus/turn us onto music like she did.....Where does that take us all from here...".No idea".....Having said that once again I think we should ALL thank Tommy for what he allows us to do...TRUST me 2nd...The right to bear arms is a right that needless to say by your name you personally believe in....BUT....It is a joke compared to the right of free speech.....AND....All you "GUESTS" from all those other Shania sites that are totally controlled....This is where the heart of Shania lives...Bob

Hey no worries Bob, it's all good.

I feel your passion and I understand what you're saying. Well stated and we all have our own way of describing what we're feeling or how to address situations or circumstances.

As for the 2nd Amendment I feel it was placed #2 for a reason. It is the right that defends the 1st, free speech and all that. Without the 2nd the 1st can easily be destroyed by tyrants and dictators.

This site in comparison is where it's at. The forums control with an iron fist, it's a very difficult place to get into passionate dialog and sharing your true feelings. C'est La Vie./\

One thing for sure... CMT and MTV are so full of  cowtwo.gif that I don't pay much
attention to them anyway. It's sickening what they have done to music!
That is, if you can find any music between reality shows.  thumbsdown.gif
