I really do not quite understand this article pertaining to Mutt and Shania... I find it hard to understand or even believe... Why am I posting this??... Not sure...If this article is just a terrible rumour I feel bad in posting this information.. I really did not know what to do when I read this March 16 2008 article or even if I am misunderstanding something... This sounds like crap reporting to me, so if you don't want to read it then DON"T........ Just don't read it after what you I have told you, and then come back ripping me.. I didn't post the article..I simply found it and reported to this site what I found... If anyone can help me understand what it means or is trying to say I would greatly thankful..... Google exactly....Capecod Today Everybody has a twin.... Again...Try to help me figure this article out and what it means... I just can't get a handle on the point..Bob

Weird article but, I'm sure it's false.  I just looked up her UP! tour dates, and she was nowhere near Mass. on that date.  Not to mention, why would they be building a home in NZ together if they were divorcing? hmm

I guess Angie I could not put the dots together, the comment about them, the words of the song that was mentioned, and the twin connection to the article..Bob

She had no shows on this date(2 days off)... Having said that you would think someone would be smart enough to check things like this out before he made up a story.. Needless to say I would have felt alot better if she had been on the up tour that night in London England so we could easily defunk this report...Bob

I'm not worried about the article Bob. It sounds very fake. Mutt and Shania are not divorcing she is completely in love with him. I think someone decided to do an "as if" story. I think they are still in New Zealand. Now to change the topic. What sort of music does everyone like. I am a country music fan...in a way I discovered this genre because of Shania and now have a lot of favorites in the genre. I was wondering what sort of cd Shania was going to release. I am hoping for another great "live" album like Come On Over" It had some great live songs like Honey I'm Home and Man I Feel Like a Woman etc. I also liked a lot of songs on the WIM cd. I loved UP and loved the concert that went with it so don't misunderstand me. I guess all I am saying is I hope her next cd has me tapping my feet more. What is everyone else hoping for in this next cd?

This guy in the article just seems like a nut and I wouldn't take him serious one bit. Enough said, no worries Bob.

As for your question lulu, I myself listen to mainly country, probably 90% of my music collection is so. I listen to a little here or there of other music, but my life has been filled with country sounds and country settings. Shania was just someone who came along and captivated me like no other before her. I am fans of many other singers, but nothing close to the level Shania rests on.

As a country fan I say my favorite album is easily TWIM. COO was the mix crossover maker and UP was suppose to be two separated sounds between green and red although I found them to be too similar and the steel guitar, fiddles, and banjos in most green versions were too unorthodox. Seems this album fit better under the red label although I still prefer listening to the green. Don't get me wrong, I listen to all of Shania's CDs often, they all grab at me, but nothing in my opinion tops TWIM as her best masterpiece from a collection of masterpieces.

I guess with the next album, Shania wants to be more introspective and share some of her own struggles with fame and whatnot, yet remain positive, inspiring, and uplifting. I think she'll still have many powered up songs, but something personal in nature. All I hope for is Shania return to her roots a bit. I don't mind her remixes, I think that is a wonderful idea to reach out to more people, but if there is a "green" version I would like to it to be more familiar sounding to routine country folks. Shania is very versatile and she can do anything, but I honestly feel her best style, where she's more comfortable or natural I should say, is being the center piece - country.
Rock and pop influences, okay, but not her sweet zone.

Not sure what she and Mutt will do with the production and arrangements this time, but I think it would be nice to get back to basics and I think she'll come back with some really killer lyrical pieces. Of course anything would be better than nothing too, lol.

As much as I'd like to say I have some glorious job, I don't, at this time. I was in sales in the wallpaper industry for 28 years. I've been hit by layoffs over the past few years, so it's been bumpy. Right now I work for Fed Ex from 3:30am to 7:30am each day. I come home, shave & shower and then go work a dual job of sales & shipping for a promotional products company where my wife works. It's fun.

Point? I am clear on my thinking. I just thought that this obscure article in a paper from Cape Cod of all places just has no validity.

Although the official split wasn't announced until 15 May, judging by the Cape Cod article published in March, their separation must have happened a few months before. We all thought it was just silly tabloid stuff like the stories that have circulated in the past about cracks in their marriage, but this time it turned out to be real. I just wish the both of them every future happiness.
