I would agree...Nobody knows anything....Maybe that would include Shania as well.. Nothing to base this on but can not help but feel there is a much bigger story going on than any of us know but in time will.. Nothing makes sense here to me.. Someone who has had the initiative to come from nowhere just does not loose it over night. Someone who loves music the way Shania does also does not loose it over night..If it was all about money we never would know what"UP" was in relation to Shania, as her and Mutt were multi millionaires way before it.. Eja and Mutt were both around before UP so nothing has changed there..� As I said I can't help but feel there is something much bigger going on in the background as nothing makes sense to me personally.. Most of us on this site I really feel have a pretty good handle on this lady... I suppose I kinda feel there has been a huge change in her mindset with respect to her carreer and I have to say,it is a concern to me as to why..�� Bob

Yes Bob, you make valid points. I also think (based on the recent Redbook article) is that it is in her plans to come back. As you said, she loves music. She also loves performing her music for the fans. Maybe something else is going on and that is why she takes such long hiatus.

�I know there is that fine line between fact and fiction and usually when you don't know something for certain it is quite often better to zip it.. Having said that my gut just tells me something ain't right.. Most of us in life like to have some kind of a plan going forward.. Shania being Shania, she is FOR SURE, no different. Bottom line.. I really think she is trying to find herself and is totally overwhelmed by the life changing decisions she is facing.. BUT... Lets all cut her some slack...Alot of us have trouble in deciding if we should stay at our current job or move to one across the other side of town because it is an extra 30 minute drive.. Others can't decide if they should take 2 maths or one math and one science.. Decisions even at this level are not easy so try to imagine her decision...Living the family life or touring the world...NOT EASY.. Throw in the fact that she don't need the money...Well ..You folks figure it out.... I am not saying she is done but my prediction days on when new music will come are over...Bob

Very well may be true guys. More valid points.

No one really knows for sure what's truly going on in the background so we have to take it as it comes and hope for the best.

I was recently told by a former member of this site that they received a response from someone close to Mutt, Mike Shipley, that said the Lange's were going to take quite some time on the next album because according to Mutt he wants the new record to be great, because unless it is great then there is no use doing a record in todays climate with record sales so low.

So who knows what exactly "quite some time" might imply? Had they been already taking quite some time or is this an extra extended delay? The Lange's could be doing a lot of tweaking trying to get every single song 100% satisfactory by their standards, wanting to be completely confident to create a great record.

Hello I am not sure what Shania Twain is doing I would Just wish that she could at lease tell us now whats going on because if you really look at it I think she might be back this year but what is she up to ?

I will be pleasantly suprised if the cd is out this year. I can't help thinking that if it were to be out this year we would have heard something by now. I can certainly imagine Mutt wanting to make sure the cd is great. He apparently took almost 5 years with a Deff Lepard cd and it went on to become their biggest sellar. One thing that gives me a bit of hope was being told we did not find out about the "UP" release until 3 months before it was to be released. So it is only April....enough months are left to the possiblity of a fall release. Yup only time will tell.
