Men’s Health’s ‘Hottest Women of All Time’ features Dolly Parton, more

Posted on by Cindy Watts

Men’s Health magazine recently compiled its list of the 100 hottest women of all time. Shania Twain, Faith Hill and country music’s current leading ladies didn’t make the list, but Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton sit at numbers 93 and 92 respectively. That’s higher than Catherine Bach, Julia Roberts, Mila Kunis and Cybill Shepherd.

Other famous faces (and bodies) recognized include Loni Anderson, Audrey Hepburn, Demi Moore, Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, and Gisele Bundchen. Jennifer Aniston landed in the top spot. The list is online now at www.menshealth.com.

Tour Alan Jackson's lakeside property

Alan Jackson's lakeside slice of paradise, a favorite for more than 20 years, is up for sale

3:23 AM, Apr. 22, 2012
Written by Bill Lewis | For The Tennessean

Country superstar Alan Jackson’s lakeside retreat comes complete with a five-bedroom main house, guest house, boat dock, custom two-story houseboat and helipad. It might even include some of the inspiration behind his hit songs.

Jackson is selling the Center Hill Lake compound where he was able to break away from the road and recording sessions and relax with his family when his daughters were younger. The 3.6-acre estate, on a gated, private peninsula near Smithville, Tenn., is listed for $4,995,000.

“Center Hill has always been a retreat and a sanctuary, especially during the week,” Jackson said. “It’s so quiet and peaceful. I’ve started and finished many songs there. And I’ve come up with several ideas for songs while I was behind the wheel of my boat.

“It’s a lot like being in your own private national park on 60 miles of lake — just a beautiful place.”

Jackson will take happy memories with him, like the one of a young Shania Twain joining him for one of his shows on the lake.

“She’d hit it big already. She was on her way to being a huge star, but she hadn’t really toured yet, and she came out there,” he said. “I remember she was wearing overalls and just came with a couple of players and did an acoustic set. That was really an event.”

Jackson offered the house for sale several years ago for $3.9 million. When no buyer appeared, he upgraded the property by acquiring more land and built a wing that includes a theater room and a new kitchen. The main house now has about 6,100 square feet.

A new direction

“We’ve enjoyed our lake house for over 20 years, but as our girls have gotten older, we don’t find as many opportunities to use the property as a family,” Jackson said of the decision to sell.

“And after Denise’s fight with cancer last year, we’ve re-evaluated our lives and plans for the future and felt like this fits into those plans.”

The couple is selling their Florida vacation home for the same reason, he said. Earlier this year, he and Denise sold their home in Williamson County for $28 million and purchased a house in a nearby gated community.

The new home, with 7 or 8 wooded acres, is easier to keep up than the old place’s 135 acres. At about 17,000 square feet, the new house is about the same size as the old one, said Realtor Rick French.

Jackson “simplified, rather than downsized,” said French, who is handling the sale of the lakeside compound.

Not so little bitty

The Hamptons-style main lake house has a stone and shingle exterior, five bedrooms, five full baths and three powder rooms. Features include:

• A screened porch overlooking the lake and the pool deck.

• A 12-by-12-foot auxiliary kitchen with Sub-Zero refrigerator and Thermador ovens and cooktop.

• Paneled and beamed ceilings.

• Masonry fireplace with gas logs.

• A 20-by-21-foot main kitchen with Sharp, Bosch, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

• A fireplace in the master suite.

• A two-level redwood deck.

• A pool heated for year-round use.

The 2,000-square-foot guest house features four bedrooms and two walls of glass overlooking the lake. There is a fireplace in the living room and a wood-burning stove in one of the bedrooms.

The property also features a one-bedroom cabin with a view of the lake and a wall of windows overlooking the deck.

Fun on the water

The houseboat, designed to resemble a riverboat, has cedar and shake siding, French doors to the main salon, a bamboo floor and two secret sleeping berths.

The main house is luxurious, but the houseboat is the most popular attraction for friends and family, Jackson said.

“I’d bet 90 percent of our time is spent down there on that boat and at the dock,” he said.

Whoever buys the property might just see other Nashville stars nearby.

“Center Hill Lake has been a getaway for people going back as far as Hank Williams. … Just last summer, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, visited with us up there one weekend,” Jackson said. “And these days you might see Jake Owen out there on his boat.”

13 Disturbing Facts About McDonald’s

April 30, 2012

McDonald's just reported its first quarter financial results on April 20. The global fast food chain generated $6.54 billion during the period and delivered earnings per share of $1.23. Global comparable sales increased 7.3 percent.

While the top and bottom line came in line with analysts' expectations, there are plenty of facts about the company that you may find completely unexpected. The restaurant giant has grown through the recession and recovery. Which makes sense since it sells more than 75 burgers every second. Here are 13 shocking facts about America's most popular fast food chain:

1. McDonald's' daily customer traffic (62 million) is more than the population of Great Britain.

2. McDonald's sells more than 75 hamburgers every second.

3. McDonald's feeds 68 million people per day, that's about 1 percent of the world's population.

4. McDonald's' $27 billion in revenue makes it the 90th-largest economy in the world.

5. The $8.7 billion in revenue from franchise stores alone, makes McDonald's richer than Mongolia.

6. McDonald's hires around 1 million workers in the US every year. This estimate from Fast Food Nation assumes a 700,000 domestic workforce with 150% turnover rate.

7. McDonald's has 761,000 employees worldwide, that's more than the population of Luxembourg.

8. According to company estimates, one in every eight American workers has been employed by McDonald's.

9. Sharon Stone worked at McDonald's before she was famous. So did Shania Twain, Jay Leno, Rachel McAdams and Pink.

10. McDonald's is the world's largest distributor of toys, with one included in 20 percent of all sales.

11. For the next three years, McDonald's is going to open one restaurant every day in China.

12. The only place in the lower 48 that is more than 100 miles from a McDonald's is a barren plain in South Dakota.

13. Americans alone consume one billion pounds of beef at McDonald's in a year – five and a half million head of cattle.

Does Ending Homelessness Need a KONY-style Campaign?
By Joel John Roberts
Posted: 05/02/2012 1:34 PM

Can a push of a virtual button, or a click of a plastic computer mouse, really change our world?

The generation before me consisted of traditional activists who rebelled against an American society that they thought had wrongfully sent young men to kill Southeast Asians without much clear rationale, other than to fight some political theory that supposedly threatened democracy.

Back in the 1960s, the young adults who differed with our country's political leaders fought hard to change the direction of their country and world.

Back then, there were no IPads, internet, or smartphones -- just their cardboard signs, megaphones, and power in numbers. They changed their world with sit-ins, love-ins, and physical battles with shielded police sporting batons and water cannons.

Those grainy black and white television images of young people with headbands, long hair, and bell-bottom jeans standing up to armored national guards still resonant today.

Today's activists, however, don't typically knock heads with plastic police shields or get hosed down by a coercive stream of water. Why put yourself in harms way when you can sit at your Ikea desk, open up your MacBook Air, and click a few electronic buttons?

Click, click, click, and you just reduced carcinogens in the environment. Click, click, to join the fight to end AIDS. Click, and that emaciated Third World child will eat a well-nourished supper tonight.

Changing the world is way easier today than when those hippies in the 1960s battled it out with angry uniformed men. All you need to do today is join some cool world-changing movement on Change.org in the comfort of your bedroom in your parents' house, and you are a bona-fide activist. Just ignore those critics who call you a slacktivist.

Click, click, and you just housed a homeless person.

Wait. Is it that easy? For decades, homeless advocates have been struggling to help people on the streets overcome mental health issues, addictive behavior, and find permanent housing that would nurture people back to physical and emotional health. Can a click of an electronic button do all of that with one simple push?

I wish ending homelessness was as simple as pressing that bright red Staples Easy Button. Can a simple tweet house a homeless person?

Of course, one click of a button won't magically transport a family of three from living in their van to walking across the threshold of an apartment. But as homeless advocates are figuring out today, it takes the whole community to mobilize enough resources to permanently house their homeless neighbors.

And that's where social media is at its best, when a community wants to mobilize everyone.

So why not create a KONY 2012-type of campaign to end homelessness? Create a moving, very personal YouTube video of why our country needs to end homelessness, and then tweet it out to celebrities who have the influence to rally millions of people.

In fact, why not tweet those celebrities who have been homeless themselves. Famous people like Jim Carrey, Hilary Swank, and Shania Twain.

"Hey @JimCarrey, you already know homelessness is not a joke! Help end homelessness."

"@HilaryASwank, you know the drama of being homeless. Help us end homelessness."

"@ShaniaTwain, you know homelessness is not a beautiful country ballad. Help end homelessness."

I know, it may sound like a desperate gimmick. But when the drama of homelessness has sadly persisted for decades in this country we need all the help we can get.

So should we start clicking away?

Buellton's unfolding bonanza

Buellton is bubbling with new action, and it’s all about the huge horse industry in the Santa Ynez Valley. After Farm Supply opened, horse trainer, entertainer and leather worker Ramon Becerra opened his saddle shop in the former Gracian feed building.

“We’re still in the process of getting our show cases, but we have saddles for sale and some other items,” said Ramon. He inherited some of his sewing machines and leather working tools from the late film star and producer John Derek, who he says taught him a lot of his leather craft.

Co-worker Antonio Ortega was in the process of creating a fancy saddle with rawhide designs and Ramon showed me his original “Santa Ynez Valley saddle,” which has special features with beautiful draped leather and a removable horn that can be replaced with a sturdy one for roping, or completely removed for jumping.

“It’s lightweight but very sturdy,” said Ramon. “We thought it would be perfect for a discerning lady who is tired of hefting a big heavy saddle up onto her horse.”

Ramon had recently returned from doing a show, called the Night of the Horse, in Del Mar and featuring singer Shania Twain. He and his wife Charlotte and young daughter Katherine took part in the segment called “Why we love horses,” which featured his amazing trained equines.

Bo Derek was the mistress of ceremonies and Santa Ynez Valley trainer and member of the Cowgirls Hall of Fame Sandy Collier performed as well as Tina Fry. Singer Shania Twain was also a sponsor.

Right there in another section of the old Gracian feed building, we found Mike and Kristi Monighetti’s One Stop Livestock Supplies Inc. in its new location. They came out of the woods just off Highway 246 to join the “big city” life. It’s where all the farriers hang out because they have everything for horses’ feet.

Kristi says they are going to carry boots for human feet with makers like Anderson Bean and Olathe brands. There’ll be 35 different styles of boots by Rio of Mercedes, too.

They have some beautiful wood wall paneling and Kristi said, “Our ranch neighbor loves trees and when he orders tall trees they come in big wooden boxes. The wood was so beautiful we decided to use them to cover one area of our walls.

Kristi is really the proprietress while Mike takes care of their Los Alamos cattle ranch.

“We carry a lot of animal health products as well as some feed. Our emphasis has always been as a resource place to get answers,” she said.

Celebs' favourite hideaway closing

By Rachel Glucina - New Zealand Herald
5:30 AM Saturday May 26, 2012

Mollies, a luxury boutique hotel in Herne Bay, is to close its doors at the end of next month.

The hotel, which has hosted celebrities including Sean Connery, Shania Twain, Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rachel Hunter, may become a bed-and-breakfast.

Owner Murray Rose, who lives on site with his wife, Nicola, and their children (plus pets), says he is "looking into restructuring the business".

Transforming Mollies to a mid-market B&B has been proposed.

Mr Rose said the hotel was no longer a member of Relais & Chateaux, an association of top-end hotels around the world.

New Zealand members include Kauri Cliffs in Northland, Huka Lodge at Taupo and Cape Kidnappers in Hawkes Bay.

Mollies was built in the 1870s as the home of Archibald Clark, who had been the first Mayor of Auckland in 1851, and was a convent, boarding house and private home before entrepreneur Mollie Wilson bought it in the 1950s, opening as the Harbour Bridge Motel.

It quickly became an international success, winning a slew of awards and being included on numerous must-stay lists.

Last year, the hotel, which has 13 double suites, a day spa and bar-restaurant open to the public, was on the Conde Naste Gold Traveller List, which features the world's best 108 hotels.

It has also been honoured by US-based invitation-only travel club Virtuoso, which specialises in luxury travel. Mollies is its only Auckland member.

The hotel's restaurant has also been on many best-eatery lists and won the "Best Night Out" category in Metro magazine's Restaurant of the Year Awards in 2008.

Murray and Nicola Rose took over the business at the end of March last year from Frances Wilson and Stephen Fitzgerald.

Shortly before the handover, Ms Wilson, a former opera teacher in London and New York and Mercury Theatre opera coach and choir mistress, said they were selling the business because they wanted to spend more time pursuing their interest in music.

Ms Wilson and Mr Fitzgerald had spent 10 years establishing Mollies as a luxury boutique hotel after buying the property in 2000 from Mollie, Ms Wilson's mother.

In the 1890s, the home was occupied by the Little Sisters of the Poor, whose convent is now opposite Mollies.

Before They Were Famous: Shania Twain

By: Cory Stromblad

Shania Twain is a global superstar whose sold more than 75 million albums worldwide. But the Canadian-born singer’s earlier years were rooted in a much more humble occupation. In addition to crafting her singing career at local dive bars, a young Eilleen Edwards spent her after-school hours asking hungry Canadians, “Would you like fries with that?” while working at McDonald’s.

“I learned tons about the meaning of service there,” Twain tells Time Magazine on her time under the golden arches. After high school, the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter also worked as a secretary and a resort revue singer to support her family after the untimely death of her parents.

Yu Darvish And Other Texas Rangers Rookies Sing Shania Twain In Dresses

By Riley Schmitt | June 14, 2012

Yu Darvish may be a hotshot rookie pitcher, but that does not mean that he is not immune to hazing. Along with fellow Texas Rangers rookies Robbie Ross and Brandon Synder, Darvish was forced to wear a dress and belt out Shania Twain’s hit single “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

I am sorry, but that is just classic right there. I would bet any amount of money that before he had to do this that Yu Darvish had no idea who Twain even was. I do like the sense of humor that the Rangers veterans have. Smart move having them do this.

I am impressed by how well the rookies took to it. If you are forced to do something like this, at least give it your A effort. You know that if you mope through it, you are going to do something worse. I can not think of anything that would be worse, but I guess there could be worse things.

I do not know if I can ever take Yu Darvish seriously again. He might be great on the mound, but this image is going to be burned into my memory. At least he went up there and did it with a smile, even though he probably had less of an idea about what was going on than anyone else on the planet.

Maybe by the time his career ends, Darvish will know all of the words to this song and he can give a better rendition.

Riley Schmitt is a writer for Rant Sports.

There's only one song per artist on the list.

No. 20: Shania Twain, ‘Any Man of Mine’ – Top 100 Country Songs

By: Billy Dukes

This song was America’s introduction to Shania Twain. The singer had one hit prior to this three-week chart-topper from 1995, but ‘Any Man of Mine’ blew up in a way a song from a country female hadn’t done in years.

Song No. 20 on the Top 100 Country Songs list left an undeniable influence on future generations of country singers. Some may argue that by using sex appeal to sell records, she chipped away at the moral fiber of the music, but that’s a tough argument to make in the face of so many millions of loyal fans and followers worldwide. Twain is every bit as important to modern country music as Garth Brooks, and this song began a wild decade.

Dating Friend's Ex: 5 Celebs Who Dated Their Friend's Exes

Is it ever a good idea to date a friend's ex?

For most of us, the answer is a resounding "no" -- for some of us, maybe even an "Oh, hell no." But for celebrities, it's a whole different story. Blame it on the shallow Hollywood dating pool, but time and time again, we see celebs falling for their friends' former flames.

The five celebs below seem to have had a what's-yours-is-mine philosophy when it came to dating their pals' ex-spouses. Click through the slideshow to see who they are, then tell us: would you date your bestie's ex once his or her relationship was over or would that person be strictly off imits?

-------------------------------------

Talk about a complicated backstory. In August 2009, Shania Twain revealed that she was dating businessman Frederic Thiebaud. The year prior, the country star's marriage to husband Robert "Mutt" Lange fell apart following his alleged affair with her close friend -- and Thiebaud's wife -- Marie-Anne Thiebaud.

So how did these two wronged exes end up together? "I got to observe [Frederic] going through the same thing that I was, and I admired how he handled it," Twain explained to Redbook in 2011. "That is where I fell in love with him, because he was so exemplary in every way."

On January 1, 2011, Twain and Thiebaud married on a beach in Puerto Rico.

Nearly 50% of Americans Believe Wealthy Lifestyle Is Unattainable: The Hill

| July 18, 2012

Many Americans accept the age-old axiom that hard work and determination will lead to a life of luxury, prosperity and professional success. The stories of those who were able to climb the social ladder and earn incredible wealth -- Jay-Z, J.K. Rowling, Shania Twain, Mariah Carey, David Geffen, Demi Moore, Leonardo DiCaprio and Oprah Winfrey -- serve as a reminder that any individual can become the next rags to riches fairy tale.

President Barack Obama, speaking to supporters Monday in Cincinnati said, "if you work hard, then you can get ahead; if you're responsible, then you can live out your dreams. You're not confined to the circumstances of your birth." But a new poll commissioned by The Hill publication found that 47 percent of likely voters believe becoming wealthy in their lifetime is impossible, and 37 percent of those surveyed say they will never become rich. Of the 1,000 voters polled, 40 percent regard "wealthy" as earning at least $500,000 a year. Meanwhile, 31 percent attribute wealth to an annual income of $250,000 a year, and 20 percent say wealth constitutes at least $1 million in salary a year.

Americans' personal wealth has decreased in the past few years after the housing and stock market crashes. Wage growth has been stagnant, and millions of unemployed Americans are forced to take part-time or lower-paying jobs to make ends meet. The growing disparity between the wealthy and the poor in the U.S. sparked the Occupy Wall Street protests last year and has become a central focus in the November elections. President Obama said he supports raising taxes on the richest Americans and has been campaigning on a platform to level the playing field between the "1 percent" and the majority of Americans.

The median U.S. household income between 2006 and 2010 was $51,914, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The latest data show that almost one in two Americans live in poverty or low-income households. In 2009, nearly 5.1 million U.S. households claimed millionaire status. President Obama has proposed extending Bush-era tax cuts for households making $250,000 a year or less for one more year. Tax cuts for wealthier households would expire on Jan. 1, 2013.

Bob Cusack, managing editor at The Hill, says his publication's poll results present "a big problem" for Obama.

"There's not a lot of hope in these poll's findings," he says in the attached clip.

Cusack notes that only 60 percent of voters who identified as conservatives back an extension of the Bush-era tax rates, while 73 percent of liberals favor tax cuts for Americans making no more than $250,000 a year.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney opposes tax hikes on all income levels. Congress remains deadlocked on the tax issue and a resolution may not come until early next year, Cusack says.

Shania Twain – Then and Now

By: Billy Dukes | 7/26/12

Shania Twain

One thing is noticeably absent from Shania Twain‘s ‘Then’ picture. The famous singer is as fit today as she was at the Billboard Music Awards in 1995, and her hairstyle then could even be worn on red carpets today. But a now 46-year-old Twain is a bit more modest than her 30-year-old version.

We’re not sure what happened to the rest of Twain’s shirt, but that was a style she made popular for much of the mid to late-90s. At the time, some argued that if you have abs like that, you should to show them off, while the more conservative country fans wished she’d wrap up a little more. As Twain approaches 50 and her son gets closer to his teenage years, it seems unlikely we’ll see her once-famous belly again.

Linkin Park's debut album passes 10 million US sales mark

Band joins Metallica, Shania Twain and Backstreet Boys in reaching milestone

By Michael Holder | August 23, 2012

Linkin Park's debut LP 'Hybrid Theory' has become the 20th album to pass 10 million sales in the US.

The band's 2000 album joins the likes of Shania Twain's 'Come On Over',Bob Marley's 'Legend' and Backstreet Boys' self-titled debut in reaching the milestone since SoundScan started digitally counting sales in 1991.

'Hybrid Theory' never reached number 1 on the US album charts but went on the become the biggest selling LP of 2001 with almost 5 million sales.

Metallica's self-titled 1991 album remains the biggest selling album since digital sales counting began with 15.8 million copies sold.

The album is the fourth to rack up more than 10 million sales without ever having hit the top of the charts.

All four of Linkin Park's albums following 'Hybrid Theory' have made it to number 1 on the US charts, but they have not sold as many overall.

It was revealed this morning that Linkin Park are working on new material with drum 'n' bass producer DJ Fresh.

Linkin Park topped the UK Album Chart earlier this year with their latest album 'Living Things'.

Country music stardom beckons student

By Adela Talbot
September 20, 2012

Country Girl
Genevieve Fisher, a third-year Popular Music student at Western, has her eyes set on a country music
career resembling that of Shania Twain. Earlier this month, she performed at the Canadian Country
Music Association’s (CCMA) Music Week as part of its Emerging Artist Showcase.

Genevieve Fisher is no stranger to the country music scene.

The third-year Popular Music student has been at it – singing at various festivals and in front of diverse audiences – since she was 2 years old. Now 20, Fisher has shown no signs of slowing down.

Earlier this month, before returning to her studies, the London native performed in Saskatoon at the Canadian Country Music Association’s (CCMA) Music Week as part of its Emerging Artist Showcase.

“It was an amazing experience for me,” Fisher said.

While excited, she didn’t expect it or know exactly why she was selected. In fact, when she first got the call, she thought it was a telemarketer.

Since her performance, however, everything has been a “whirlwind.”

“I started singing at a really young age, with competitions in the London area. I grew up around country music. My grandparents always listened to it and I always loved it,” Fisher said. She remembers listening to and admiring artists like Patsy Cline and Shania Twain.

Four years ago, “things got more serious” when she opened for Crystal Shawanda, then the Canadian Female Country Artist of the Year. Fisher soon got a manager, started performing at bigger shows and released her first CD, Without Borders, in 2010.

In the past year alone, she has opened up for country artists such as Dean Brody, David Nail and Hunter Hayes and, while she performs many covers, she has also travelled south to Nashville, Tenn., where she has co-written and worked with some of ‘Music City’s’ top songwriters. She wrote her song, July, with Jennifer Schott – who has written for big names such as LeAnn Rimes, Tim McGraw and Lonestar. It hit No. 41 on the national charts in Canada.

When it comes to her studies, Fisher said the choice to come to Western was clear.

“I wanted it (my education) to follow my musical career. Western was the only school in Canada that offered a Popular Music program,” she said, adding taking courses in songwriting, song analysis and desktop production have been an asset outside of the classroom.

While not sure if her next steps include going to teacher’s college or focusing on music full-time, Fisher knows she’s in the business for the long haul.

Busy with schoolwork and performances, she is gearing up for another trip to Nashville, where she’s excited to work on more original songs with Schott. Afterward, she will be filming a music video and, eventually, recording an album of original songs, which she hopes will grab the attention of a record label.

Ask her about her favourite artist, or who she aspires to be like, and the answer comes easily – Shania Twain.

Fisher, whose parents are Aboriginal and Italian (Twain is half Aboriginal and half Irish), said the renowned Canadian singer has been an inspiration.

“She is Canadian and she has international success. Hers are the footsteps I want to follow in.”

Plácido Domingo - "Songs"

Placido Domingo - Songs

Legendary Songs. Sung by a Legend. Plácido Domingo’s new album, his first pop album in over twenty years, is a personal collection of some of the world’s most popular melodies. It goes from the Mexican 1940s classicBésame mucho, Eternally from the Charlie Chaplin film ‘Limelight’, the Jacques Brel classic Chanson des vieux amants, Parla più piano from ‘The Godfather’, Come What May from the film ‘Moulin Rouge’, Spanish-language hit Celos (Jealousie) to Shania Twain’s hit From This Moment On.

Including great duets with Josh Groban, Susan Boyle, Harry Connick Jr., Katherine Jenkins, Chris Botti, Megan Hilty, Zaz and Plácido Domgino Jr.

OFFSTAGE: Man! Miranda Lambert Feels Like a Woman!

(CMT Offstage keeps a 24/7 watch on everything that's happening with country music artists behind the scenes and out of the spotlight.)

Forget about stealing Miranda Lambert's look. This is the day to steal her playlist. She gave WebMD.com her eight-song workout playlist, and it is all good. Every woman needs a little Shania Twain to get her going, you know? I'd also recommend beefing up this list with Twain's "I Ain't No Quitter," Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" and Pistol Annies' "Takin' Pills." Maybe even some more Carrie Underwood, like "Songs Like This" and/or "Cowboy Casanova," both good choices to motivate you.

Here is Lambert's list as it stands now. What would you add? (And no adding Lambert's own songs to Lambert's list. That could get weird.)

"Stronger," Kelly Clarkson
"Before He Cheats," Carrie Underwood
"Hell on Heels," Pistol Annies
"Run the World (Girls)," Beyoncé
"Love in an Elevator," Aerosmith
"Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" Shania Twain
"Smokin' the Boys," Audra Mae & the Almighty Sound
"You and I," Lady Gaga

SNL’s ‘Sexy’ Sirens Seduce Ancient Greek Heroes With… Bland ’90s Girl Rock

by Andrew Kirell | 12:53 am, October 14th, 2012

Some of the most well-known creatures from Greek mythology were the femme fatale “Sirens,” who lured men to their deaths by seducing them with enchanting music until they crashed their ships into the rocks and perished. They made their most famous appearance in Homer‘s epic poem The Odyssey — you know, that thing we all read in seventh grade and you shouldn’t be reading this site if you don’t remember it.

Tonight’s Saturday Night Live re-imagined those sexy creatures as using the exact opposite of sexy music to lure Odysseus and his heroic crew: bland ’90s chick rock.

The Sirens took us on a nostalgia trip as they failed to lure the Greek heroes with Lisa Loeb‘s “Stay,” Shania Twain‘s “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and the mother of all bland songs of that era: Paula Cole‘s “I Don’t Want to Wait.”

At first the heroic sailors were unimpressed, laughing off the Sirens’ girly music and dismissing their advances. But around the time the girls sang the TLC (rest in peace Left Eye) hit “No Scrubs,” all men had jumped ship to party with the Lilith Fair-lovin’ Sirens.

Watch below, via NBC:

Pre-Fame Ryan Gosling, Drake, Shania Twain Unearthed in Vaults of Canadian Morning Show

2:07 PM PDT 10/22/2012 by Etan Vlessing

CTV's "Canada AM," which had Fox News Channel's John Roberts as a former co-host, gave the stars early breakout appearances.

TORONTO – Talk about savvy talent-spotting.

The definition of making it in Canadian entertainment has long been getting on Canada AM.

CTV’s flagship morning news show, this week celebrating its 40th anniversary, has brought Canadians early breakout appearances, including 12-year-old Ryan Gosling being interviewed on air after finding out he would be a Disney Mousketeer.

The Canada AM vault also revealed video that features a young Aubrey Graham, a.k.a. superstar rapper Drake, talking to the morning show about landing the role of Jimmy on the high school drama Degrassi.

Fox News Channel senior reporter John Roberts, a former co-anchor of Canada AM after making his name as an early MuchMusic VJ, recalls showcasing a host of local acts that went on, like him, to shine in the American spotlight.

“When the new crop of (Canadian) bands exploded in the 1980s, giving them airtime was simply a matter of good programming, good programming that eventually became a source of national pride,” Roberts said of homegrown rockers like Rush, Triumph, Loverboy and Bryan Adams.

He added Alannah Morrisette launching her Jagged Little Pill CD signalled a wave of Canadian divas making it internationally, including Celine Dion, Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne.

"I don't think any one person really paved the way for a recognition of of Canadian talent on the global stage. The whole industry just sort of came of age all at once," Roberts noted.

Canada AM executive producer Lis Travers recalled appearances by Johnny Reid, Diana Krall and Sarah McLaughlin when they were either on the brink of fame or topping the music charts stateside.

There was also a skinny 20-year-old Shania Twain emerging from northern Ontario to take on the world, or Jacob Hoggard, a.k.a. Hedley, talking to Canada AM's Seamus O'Regan in his first TV interview after being eliminated from Canadian Idol.

Travers’ favorite guest? Canadian crooner Michael Buble.

“Even after his CDs topped all the charts, he always took time to meet, greet, take photos, sign autographs with everyone in the audience,” he recalled.

And celebrated thesp Christopher Plummer traveled from his home in Connecticut to a New York City studio to record a goodbye poem for a departing Seamus O’Regan for reciting on air.

Fox News' Roberts credits his Canada AM stint, which included endless interviews with politicians and other newsmakers, for sustaining his subsequent U.S. network career.

"Canadians, as a group, take their politics very seriously. Where else could you do a two-segment 10-minute interview with the finance minister on a morning show and still have an audience left at the end?" he insisted.

Can You Guess the Artist in This Yearbook Photo?

By Billy Dukes

Whose Yearbook

This mystery star’s high school wardrobe doesn’t look much different from her stage outfits. She shows a little more skin than traditionalists are comfortable with, but pulls off the look with a winning smile and presidential grace. Those who remember early ’80s style will concede that this singer is ahead of her time by just a few years.

Do you recognize this country superstar? She went by a different name back then. Our guess is she’s off to prom or another springtime dance in this picture, as it’d be much too cold to wear that sort of dress in a Canadian fall or winter. Click the button below to find out who this is and to see more country music yearbook photos.

Shania Twain – Strange Tour Rider Requests

By Billy Dukes

A Shania Twain tour stop is an economic boom for local produce farmers. While on the road, the singer hopes for a small truckload of lemons, papayas, mangoes, bananas, melons, beets, broccoli and carrots — 10 pounds of carrots! The vegetarian points out that she often eats with her crew and has special demands. You think? On stage, she likes to know she’s safe, so a K9 sweep of the area may be requested to deter people from making fake bomb threats. Additionally, Twain has her own security dog.

Cute Kids Singing Country Songs – Shania Twain, ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’

Little Sheldon holds nothing back in this video from 2005. He’s “going out tonight and feeling alright” in his Winnie the Pooh T-shirt and gym shorts. It’d be impossible to find a more adorable recreation of Shania Twain‘s 1999 hit on YouTube. Even the singer herself has to admire the little boy’s passion and energy.

Twain’s music video for ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ famously stretched the definition of decency on country music video channels, and while this guy seems inspired by her dance moves, he keeps his clothes on, thankfully. Really, this is just 30 seconds of pure cuteness, although one wonders how he feels about it seven years later. We think he should be proud of his performance. That sort of spirit is hard to come by!

I would not call it a fascination as more of them mocking the song IMO. I think they think the lyrics are silly.....

Personally I love the song, but was always troubled by the best part of being a woman part....it seems like there would be many more important things that could be said as the best part of being a woman...

Guilty Pleasures: Shania Twain

By Kate Bradley

I am going to open this by defending myself. Shania Twain has made some good albums. Yes, I know that don’t impress you much. After all, every music writer’s favourite defensive tactic is to wave a hand towards the obscure early albums and say, “Oh, I prefer the old stuff,” as if ‘popularity’ were a musical degenerative disease.

It’s pretty hard to justify my love for an artist whose main contribution to pop has been to provide a soundtrack for raucous hen nights (not to mention a good few stag nights) with the karaoke classic ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’. And (yes, the criticisms pile up) it’s never a good idea to marry your producer, as it’ll inevitably introduce married politics into a zone which is already a minefield of conflicting interests. Shania did, and the result is that her most popular albums suffer from a deadening hyper-production. But as I said, Shania Twain has more in her back catalogue than commercialised pop. The Woman in Me is a great album of rocky country music, and it’s not short of fun tracks – listen to the jaunty piano of ‘Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?’ or the funky violins of ‘If It Don’t Take Two’ for confirmation.

She’s also made several hard rock tracks, however much she wishes she could erase them from history – they’re collected together on the 2000 release For the Love of Him. Think Bon Jovi B-sides sung with surprising gusto. Still not impressed?

To be honest, you’re probably right. My love for Shania was a product of Top of the Pops 2 imposed on a ten-year-old’s complete lack of musical knowledge, so maybe it’s best to leave her where she belongs: on the cheese floor at Park End.

Remember When Shania Twain Performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?

By Billy Dukes | January 26, 2013

Shania Twain

It was 10 years ago today (Jan. 26) that Shania Twain entertained over 88 million football fans worldwide at the Super Bowl XXXVII halftime show.

Twain sang two songs, ‘Man I Feel Like a Woman!’ and ‘Up!’ before No Doubt performed ‘I’m Just a Girl’ and Sting played ‘Message in a Bottle.’ At the time, Twain was heavily promoting her ‘Up!’ album, which was released just two months earlier.

The country superstar wasn’t the only Nashville artist to make an appearance that day, however. Pre-controversy Dixie Chicks were brought in to sing the ‘Star-Spangled Banner.’ The football game was memorable for being a blowout — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Oakland Raiders 48-21.

Aside from Twain’s invigorating performance, the most lasting memory of that day in 2003 was the introduction of Terry Tate: Office Linebacker, the star of a new Reebok commercial. Country hasn’t been represented during the halftime show in the decade since the 2003 show.

WATCH Cara Delevingne Sing A Classic Shania Twain Tune With A Cat For LOVE Magazine

By Grazia | January 28, 2013

'I always wanted to be Catwoman! Michelle Pfeiffer is HAWT!' Cara Delevingne told her Twitter followers on Sunday night. Come Monday, the world has been treated to a video of everyone's favourite model dressed up as the superhero herself. But that's not all. As well as donning a minxy latex mask and black satin Dolce & Gabbana bra a la Catwoman, Cara is seen working her singing chops in the cheeky clip. And this is no dodgy music video - no, no. This is Cara's genius rendition of Shania Twain hit 'That Don't Impress Me Much' to accompany the latest edition of LOVE Magazine.

Yes, as if Kate Moss squirming half-naked in a bath wasn't enough, editor-in-chief Katie Grand has included the model of the moment within the magazine's glossy pages and persuaded her to go the extra mile too. Earlier this month, a sneak preview of the shoot was leaked on Twitter showing La Delevingne sporting a striking red pout. Now said pout has been employed to sing its little heart out - and doesn't Cara do a marvellous job! Shania, who?

'So you've got a caaaar?' Cara purrs. 'That don't impress me much!' Her long blonde ponytail is all a-swishing and she has a set of sharp nude nails perfect for clawing at the camera. And all the while she's stroking a fluffy grey cat who proceeds to clamber all over her. In between, there's hints of her trademark goofiness and the odd lip curl thrown in for good measure. God, we love this woman.

Katie sure has a way of persuading top models to do a little song and dance for her. Lest we forget Cara shimmying around in little more than her undies and a Santa hat at Christmas. Then there was Doetzen Kroes and Lily Donaldson happily casting off their clothes for a little sing-a-long. How does she do it?

Hey Cariboo, How's Your Music IQ?

By Sherry Day Foster | January 27, 2013

It was bound to happen here in the deep of our Cariboo Winter. I got curious about Canadian music and musicians.

So as is my usual habit, I brought up Wikipedia and took a quick look-see, hoping my worst doubts would be dissolved. Alas, that was not to be--confirmation was right before my eyes. I know virtually nothing of the roots of Canadian music; subsequently, I was neither surprised nor delighted to discover the first Canadian musician I recognized was Guy Lombardo, born in 1930. Now to the younger generation (say, under thirty), the dude might seem to be old. But in music-years, 1930 is considered "modern".

Guy and his Royal Canadians, however, were one of the two or three artists' albums my parents purchased when we got our record player in the mid-fifties. The vinyl's were 45's, the very latest on the market! My brother and I had to insert a gadget over the slender stem that we put our 78's or our 33 1/3's on because the 45 holes were about the size of a quarter. There were five 45 rpm's in the album. Songs I remember are: "Dangerous Dan McGrew", "Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight" and of course, "Auld Lang Syne”, the one that rings in the New Year.

During the 1980's I enjoyed Ann Murray's songs. Then there was Shania and Celine and how can we omit Justin Beiber? But that's about all I knew of Canadian musicians until my recent move to the Cariboo. Then I got to poking around in my husband's music library, which is very extensive. It's mainly Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Classical. Being brought up in the American Piano Guild tradition and consequently teaching for around forty years I recognized all the Classical CD's and recordings.

But the Jazz, Pop, and Rock? No way.

This is going to surprise some of my Canadian readers. One album has been in my music library for a long time. It's Victor Garbar, ("Argo" star, and supporting actor in many other roles).Years ago, a very handsome and talented Garbar played the part of Jesus Christ in the Canadian version of "Godspell", a popular Broadway musical. Dressed in a Superman shirt, a la "back in the seventies" his stellar performance stole my heart. . I loved his portrayal and his singing. Now how many of you Canucks even knew Victor could sing? Not many, I'd wager.

My hubby did introduce me to Leonard Cohen's, "Famous Blue Raincoat" while we were in the courting stages. He sent me Len's CD. I loved it, and went on to either buy/or at least You Tube most of his music. I knew he'd recently received an award of sorts and thought he was the Poet Laureate of Canada; however, after investigating this, found he received the award for songwriting excellence at the First Annual Pen Awards in the USA. Chuck Berry was similarly honored on February 2012. (Incidentally, I learned the Poet Laureate of Canada is Fred Wah, nominated in 2011). I will have to say, if I had children or grandchildren in the room, I'd probably not put on a Cohen CD. It's more for the adults, wouldn't you say? I bought his latest book, "I'm Your Man" for my Kindle last fall, and it was interesting and well-written. JMO-Just My Opinion. (Everyone has one).

To keep this column from being too long, I'll list the names of the Canadian musicians who were submitted on my facebook when I asked the question, "Who is your favorite Canadian musician?" I was stunned. Stunned, at the number of responses I got. Most of these musicians are in my husband's library, so I'm spending some time listening to them.

Here they are: Neil Young, Brian Adams, Leonard Cohen, The Rankin Family, Chilliwack, Burton Cummins and Randy Bachman of The Guess Who, Geddy Lee of Rush, Michael Bubblos, Gordon Lightfoot, The Tragically Hip, Alanis Morissette, Jeff Healy, Robbie Robinson, Trooper, Steve Poltz, Jesse Cook, Victor Garber, Hank Snow, Bruce Hornsby, Steve Poltz indie artist, Cross Canadian Ragweed with Amos Moses, Daniel Magam, Stan Rogers, Clumsy Lovers, and Jeanette McDonald.

My facebook friend and music trivia buff, David Obelcz, from the Seattle area wrote an insightful observation and I'll share that now, with his permission. "Shania Twain, for better or for worse, was one of the most influential Canadian musical artists to hit the music scene. "Riding the tidal wave of a resurgent country music scene created by artists like "Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, and Mary Chapin-Carpenter, she took a clear voice, a humble back ground and supermodel looks and injected even more mainstream pop into the country music genre broadening the overall audience.

"Her deft use of music video, mass media, and ultimately crossing over into pop while clinging to her country roots, made her a household name. She paved the way for artists like Sara Evans, The Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, The Wreckers, and Lee Ann Womack, to name just a few. Her influence echoes almost 15-years later with artists like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban, all move between the country and pop charts with ease. Some will argue the blurring of the lines between pop and country music was a net negative to country and western music overall, but the impact of Shania Twain to both formats is undeniable."

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, I do have a knowledge of Country and Western. How could I not, being from Texas? I was "snowed" to learn that Clarence Eugene "Hank" Snow (May 9, 1914 – December 20, 1999) was a native of Canada. Wikki writes, "this Canadian-American country music artist, in a career that spanned nearly 50 years, recorded 140 albums and charted more than 85 singles on the Billboard country charts from 1950 until 1980. This total includes the number one hits "I'm Moving On", "The Golden Rocket", "I Don't Hurt Anymore", "Let Me Go, Lover!", "I've Been Everywhere", and "Hello Love" as well as other top 10 hits. And I always thought Hank Snow was a Texan!

As usual, I've left out a few submissions, just to see who is paying attention. And as this column continues, I'll keep adding remarks, corrections, etc. The burning question I have for all Yall Cariboians is this--"Who are your favorite USA recording stars? I've heard from the USA. Now it's yall's turn.

Until next time, Happy New Years and Adios!

It's Shania Twain's House!

By Billy Dukes | February 8, 2013

Shania-Twains-House1.jpg

Shania Twain‘s troubled childhood is well documented, as is her early career in bars and clubs. Her family lived in this home in Timmins, Ontario beginning in 1980, and it’s there that the future superstar met her Longshot bandmates. She was something of a local star at night, serving burgers at McDonalds between the end of class at high school and the time the bars opened.

Twain — then known as Eilleen — lived on the bottom floors of this house, as the top was rented to another family. Accommodations were tight, and the singer was forced to share a bedroom with her sister. Within 10 years she’d have all the space she could ask for — including homes in Switzerland and New Zealand — before her divorce from Mutt Lange split their assets.

Can You Guess Which Country Star’s House This Is?

By Billy Dukes

Country Stars House

It doesn’t look like much, but this is where dreams began for one country superstar. This childhood home of a ’90s and early ’00s hitmaker was actually split between two families, meaning this singer and her siblings were sharing bedrooms as the parents tried to scrape by on very little income.

These days, space is not an issue for this mystery country singer. She is an international star who at times has taken up residence in Europe and New Zealand. It’s been awhile since fans heard new music from her, but she’s stayed active with a reality television show, an autobiography and a residency in Las Vegas. Do you think you know whose house this is? Click the button below to find out who once lived here and to see more country stars’ homes.

I don't remember Shania supporting anti-gun laws.

Shania Twain and Terri Clark make it onto the prestigious NRA enemies list

February 13, 2013

The NRA (National Rifle Association) is sort of like PETA in my book -- they have a good cause they fight for for the most part, they just tend to get a little too wacko and out in left field for my comfort.

Despite country music and guns going together like peanut butter and jelly, Mork & Mindy, or the birds & the bees, there are a few country singers out there who the NRA really doesn't like much. In fact, they like these country stars so little that they've added them to their hate list.

Ouch.

According to Buzzfeed, the NRA's enemies list came to light last fall and includes over 200 celebrities who have "lent their name and notoriety to anti-gun causes, speaking out for anti-gun legislation and providing a voice for anti-gun organizations." Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, and Terri Clark all made it onto this prestigious list. Check out the full list after the jump...

The long, tortured journey of Mindy McCready

By Chelsea J. Carter, CNN | February 18, 2013

Mindy McCready burst onto the country music scene in 1996 with the double-platinum debut album "Ten Thousand Angels," earning her a legion of female fans for her music's sass and sensibility.

She earned her only No. 1 the same year with "Guys Do It All the Time," a smackdown at sexism. Her performance earned comparisons to crossover sensation Shania Twain.

She spent 16 years trying to recapture her chart-topping success -- only to have it undone by drugs, alcohol and a volatile love life. The 37-year-old singer died Sunday, apparently of a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

A look at McCready's long, tortured journey:

On July 27th 2003, Shania Twain performed at Hutchinson Field in Chicago. It was her first concert in the United States since releasing her album Up!

I hope she sticks with the same band and it would be great if BB would consider re-joining, he was on that special.

She was one of my favorite artists back in the late 90's. I loved her music. It was her, Shania, Faith, and a few other females that were on constant rotation in my car. She was really talented, but really troubled. I feel sorry for her two young children.

‘T’ Is for Shania Twain – Top Country Artists A to Z

By Billy Dukes | March 7, 2013 12:01 PM

Why: ‘T’ presents a classic battle between classic and contemporary country music fans. Conway Twitty could front a poster advertising country music from the ’70s, and with over 50 No. 1 records, it’s difficult to argue against his influence. Randy Travis was equally influential in the ’80s and early ’90s, but it was Shania Twain that really changed the game for all future generations. Along with a few others, she helped expand the format to include new styles and fashions. The classic country fan may dismiss this as an unwanted development, but the fact remains that Twain is the most recognizable female country artist of all time.

Honorable Mentions: Conway Twitty, Randy Travis and Tanya Tucker

Krystal Keith Interview: Toby’s Daughter Talks New Songs, Shania and Life as a Oklahoma Redneck

By Billy Dukes April 19, 2013 3:00 PM

Longtime country fans remember a teenaged Krystal Keith joining her father Toby Keith on stage at the 2004 CMA Awards. They sang their duet ‘Mockingbird’ together, and then the superstar let fans know she’d be going to college before continuing her country music education. Eight-and-a-half years later, her self-titled debut EP is available, and a full-length is coming later this year. As for that conversation between father and daughter, it wasn’t exactly a ‘Leave It to Beaver Moment.’

“Well, I thought by graduation … he meant high school,” she tells Taste of Country, laughing at the memory. “And when I graduated high school I was like ‘Nashville here I come!’ and he was like ‘No, I said college.’”

The two butted heads, and while she doesn’t say so, it was probably a noisy (or terrifyingly quiet) week in her Oklahoma home. “He was like ‘I don’t care what your plan is, this is the plan. You’re going to college and when you finish we’ll go full force into music.”

That’s what happened, and the now-28-year-old singer is happy for it. “He really did know best,” Krystal Keith says. She embraces the challenges that come with being a future Country Music Hall of Famer’s daughter. In fact, she leans on him to help her through decisions as seemingly trivial as setlists. The older Keith co-produced ‘Whiskey and Lace’ and wrote many of the songs (three from the ‘Krystal Keith’ EP).

Krytsal opened up about her family dynamic and the personal songs on ‘Whiskey and Lace’ during a conversation with Taste of Country. Toby’s daughter has a little redneck in her, and she embraces it at time — including one that tells the true story of summer afternoons down by the river. Skinny dipping may have been involved — but she’s not sayin’, she’s just sayin’.

ToC: In some ways, it seems like you’d have to work extra hard to prove yourself in country music?

Krystal Keith: Yeah. It’s fun shoes to fill.

What have been the challenges and what has been the reaction?

I haven’t really encountered any challenges, I’ve kind of just done my thing and fans have been really receptive. Every show I’ve done I’ve had a great turnout and the meet and greets are awesome … About half the people that turn out at my shows just come to see live music and I don’t think they even realize that I’m Toby’s daughter until they start walking through and hear people talk about it.

Now that the album is written and recorded, how influential is he in your career as you’re moving on to the next stage?

He’s like immensely important. I’m still learning the ropes a little bit and how to do certain things, so any time I have a question I’ll go to his house (she lives two miles away in Oklahoma) or I’ll call and be like, “Hey what do you think I should do about this?” From setlists to everything — he’s a genius.

Did you seek the advice or perspective from another female artist?

If there is an artist that I have gotten the most advice from, from a female artist, it would probably be Mica (‘Daddy Dance With Me’ co-writer Mica Roberts). Just because I see her so often and every time we’re around each other we talk about my career and we talk about the people I’ve been songwriting with and everything.

I will say, when I was younger I always used to say Shania (Twain) taught me how to sing because she was on tour with my dad and we would sit on the bus and I would sing and she would tell me “That’s a little … this pitch, this is how you do this.” We wouldn’t have a 30 minute or one hour session, but I would be just singing songs and she would just give me tips.

So when she really hit it big, I was like, “Oh yeah, Shania taught me how to sing.”

If this was an album of just one song, which song would you choose and why?

Wooo … I wish I could pick three. Maybe ‘Daddy Dance With Me’ or ‘Doin’ It.’ Just because ‘Doin’ It’ is so uptempo and so catchy and so redneck and small town that it’s kind of like perfect to fit my life. And if I decided to do ‘Daddy Dance With Me’ it would be because that song is so personal to me and personal to our family.

What other song on the album has a really personal meaning for you?

‘Get Your Redneck On,’ we just wrote it, and literally while we were writing it I was like, “In high school, me and my friends went to the river and these are the scenes that were set in my real life.” So it kind of tells the story of hanging out down by the river and floatin’ the river and … it says “skinny dippin’” — not that I ever did that, but there might have been people at our little river shindigs that were skinny dipping, I don’t know.

I’m not buying that for a second, but go ahead.

[laughs] I wrote it, so it tells a true life story from my life.

What style or sound will surprise fans, especially fans coming from your dad’s fanbase?

To be honest, I have my own sound because I’m a girl, but being related … they talk about sibling harmony, there’s a familial harmony and we definitely have a lot of the same characteristics in our voice. In the studio when I was singing one song there was a musician that right after we got done with that run-through he goes, “Damn there’s some family going on in here!” Because my vibrato is almost identical to my dad’s.

Something that’s different from the EP would be ‘Muddy Water.’ That is a bluesy rock song. It’s a lot more growly and raspy than anything on the EP.

You’re a country newcomer, but you probably know a lot more than the average newbie. Did you feel comfortable disagreeing and giving your opinions in the recording studio?

Oh yeah. I didn’t have to fight very hard … My dad and I had the same view on everything, and when Mark Wright came in he understood our view and enhanced it and brought in another perspective.

Would it have been a sin to consider another label?

Ummm … It just was never discussed. I would consider it a sin. We’ve got some family loyalty going on.
