Do you guys think that she went there to get a quickie divorce?� I wouldn't think that would be possible in this situation (money, custody, etc...)

I,too, think it's weird that she'd leave Eja in Canada with her sisters. I wouldn't think she'd go there just to get her stuff and leave Eja with her family. You'd think at a time like this that Eja would need at least one of his parents. On the other hand, maybe they haven't told him what's going on.

Don't they have a recording studio in the Caribbean? I can't remember if Shania and Mutt recorded any tracks there, but I remember that Mutt and Bryan Adams recorded some track of one of their albums there.

Has there been any reports on the location of Mutt? Maybe they've met up in the Caribbean to work through their issues without the stress of family, friends, the media, etc.... or to go through some marriage counseling. biggrin

I would think Eja is with Shania. Good for her that she is taking some time to herself in the Carribean. I hope she gets all the rest and tranquillity she needs to sort this mess out.

I am going to look at this from a different angle. The divorce will be complicated so that will probably not take place there.

I would like to think that she took her sister and a bunch of girl friends there for some fun and unwinding. She may have the whole family there including Eja.

Swimming, boating and virgin Pina Colada's will all be topped off by my DREAM that someone is able to get a photo of her in a bikini!!!

Yes, my priorities ARE in the right place!! biggrin

Mustique is a great place to unwind and as we know it's one of her favourite places to visit. And Chris Farley, I doubt you'll ever get to see a shot of her in a bakini. She said in the Self Help magazine in '05 that she wouldn't feel comfortable wearing a bathing suit without wearing a wrap over it, like a lot of other women, she has veins on her legs and not to mention�cellulite.

They recorded some of the US musicians for the Up! album at their Caribbean studio, but I don't think she's gone there to do any recording as some fans hinted at. But, she may get some song-writing done there from inspiration.�

True, alot of fans think that Shania will never be photographed in a bikini.� But then again, alot of fans thought that Shania and Mutt would be together Forever and For Always.� That shows how much fans really "know".

Alot of things that fans "know" about Shania may prove to be wrong, especially at this point in her life, with big changes on the horizon.� Shania is full of surprises, and the only thing we really know right now is that we really DON'T know what she'll do next, in her music, and in her life in general.� And I'm certainly not just talking about bikinis. biggrin

Well it's kind of odd knowing Eja is suppose to be in school so is he in school in Canada? If so he must be with Shania's family so who would she travel to the Caribbean with, not herself I'm sure? And if Eja is with her and she went with family, I can only assume he is being tutored or home schooled. Very confusing and unusual situation.

And on top of that we have Shania bikini being put on the mind, you guys are going to ruin me, lol.

YES JOE....Very unusual....May I be right in saying that you are starting to see MORE unusual and unexplained behaviour...No, I do not no exactly what is going on ...Who does?....BUT...MOST mothers who are going through this time of thing generally wants to give their kids some grounding..There needs to be..So what does Shania do...Fly into Muskoka,fly out of Muskoka to the carribbean..Even if Eja is with her I still find it REALLY odd...Twist it however you want...I call it unusual behaviour and I would suggest there is alot more of it coming..You figure it out...Bob

i hope Jill and Carrie are taking care of shania just like she did when their parents died.
But i really think that shania is SO sad and frustrated from all this ,so she acts like that,i mean she went to a Swiss hotel while that other woman is in her house??that alone could drive one nuts,i'd be furious and i might end up to a police station after hitting my hubby's mistress. furious

needless to say that Mutt is going to be watching the soccer tournament that's starts tomorrow,so shania might be even more upset by his coldblooded behavior.

I totally understand Shania going to the Caribbean. I totally understand her taking Eja along as well as her sister. Eja (if schooling in Switzerland is similiar to Canada) would only be missing a couple of weeks of school which he can easily make up. This is Shania's life and Eja's life. They spend quality time at each of their homes so this is not unstable for Eja. I believe Shania is giving herself and her son the space to heal. I commend her for doing this. We have to look at this within the context of her life from her perspective and not from ours. Soon enough she will be in Switzerland going thru divorce. Taking this time for R&R to regroup is a good idea especially since the cottage was not looking good (Bob I think you said it was rough due to mosquitos and black flies). Country gal I agree about feeling like hitting the mistress just imagine how we would feel if she were in our home. I hope Shania takes Mutt to the cleaners I really do, he is such a cad. Marie-Ann should realize it is only a matter of time before Mutt tires of her as well.

Hey Lulu i agree shania MUST keep her mind preoccupied,but i thought it was weird to leave Switzerland when she did because Eja had school,and now she's going back,so i'm guessing she must have felt disgusted and wanted to go in Canada to her family for a while.

Bob,you were talking about unusual behavior, so i said she might do that photo shoot because that would be unusual indeed,but i was just kidding.
now about all that traveling who knows what's on her mind,i'm guessing she needed a change, she wanted to stay away from the "crime scene",that's what i'd do,she needed a recharge sort to speak.

I agree with you that Shania hopping all over and playing "which country next" is weird. Makes me wonder if Mutt wants to reconcile and she's playing hard to get (if that's the case, I don't blame her) or if they are indeed seeking marriage counseling somewhere or she just doesn't know what to do with herself.

From the media reports, it doesn't sound like Eja went with her to the Caribbean. I think he's in Canada with her sisters.

As for Mutt, maybe he's in Canada with Eja, in the Caribbean, or in Switzerland?

Newly-single music star Shania Twain has been nursing her broken heart with a sunshine break in the Caribbean. The Canadian songstress spent a week recuperating from her recent marriage split on the private island of Mustique, before hopping over to a luxury beach resort in Barbados.

Twain, 42, last month announced her break-up with music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, 59, with whom she had a 14 year marriage and a six-year-old son.

It's rumoured that he'd cheated with Twain's close friend Marie-Anne Thi?baud, although both have denied the affair.

During the paradise break, Twain took time out to speak of her heartache and thank her loyal fans for their support via an emotional message posted on her website.

Hotel guests at the swish Sandy Lane resort, in Barbados, said Twain looked sombre and a little fragile during her stay.

"She was quiet most of the time and obviously had a lot on her mind," said one onlooker.

"She seemed wiped out from the strain of her marriage split and looked to be trying her best to recharge her batteries and mull things over."

In the touching website message to her fans, Twain said: "As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life.

"I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength.

"Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life. "I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love.

"I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey.

"I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever.

"Thank you my friends, from the bottom of my heart."

It's thought Twain had stayed at her own luxurious villa during her week on the idyllic island of Mustique.

But following a three day stop over in Barbados, it was back to reality on Sunday when she flew out of the Caribbean on a private plane.

Broken hearts makes people do strange things. It would be odd if she went down to the Caribbean alone. What would she be doing there, getting a tan or taking time for herself with her thoughts, recharging? Man oh man...

Yes, one article states he was in Russia for soccer, another states he's in Vancouver working with Nickleback. The whole thing is confusing, this isn't like the usual stars where everything leaks out, lol.
