I notice when I try to reply to a thread with pictures that my computer crashes. Well not exactly a computer crash but that windows unresponsive programme warning. It throws me out of this site in other words. It seems to happen when I try to reply in one of those threads Christina has started with her new service. I know it's nothing to do with her computer but just mine.

Any suggestions?

That's the reason I haven't posted in any of your pic threads. I seem to be able to post in other threads.

Don't worry sweetheart. It's a fault at my end, I'm sure. I seem to be having a few problems on this site lately. It may just be one of those things that will pass. I don't have viruses or spyware on my computer, I'm very careful about that stuff.

George...It is NOT your computer...Same thing with mine..I have as fast a service  as available...My computer is doing the same thing...The eye candy posting is locking me up...Can not backspace off that posting...Stuck hour glass freeze up..All other postings on the site are normal...I had not viewed that posting but once you reported the problem I viewed it for the first time...EXACT same problem as you...I will be sending a problem report to Tommy on privates. Got to wonder if the site is reacting to all the new graphics popping up though...Bob

Im sorry guys,had i knew that this would have happen i wouldn't start that thread.
but i just wanted us to have a little fun,if this site can't take too many attachments i'll keep those for the 'shania picture room'.

Actually, the same thing is happening to my computer.
At least now I know it's not isolated.
My guess though it isn't anything to do with any one particular thread.
Or with any of the pictures, or all of that...
More so I believe it's the emoticons slowing things down.
Plus, more ppl is more taxing on Tommys server.
Maybe it might be time to UP grade?

Same thing is happening to me when I hit Backspace to go to a previous page. The page hangs and I get an hourglass. So what I've been doing is clicking the links on the top or bottom. For example:

This thread still seems fine to me after you added all the emoticons. The "crashing" problem occurs mainly when you're in a thread with pictures.

oh Tommy it would be awful if we had to stop posting shania pics.

 Personally black and white works for me..I hate to think that soon I might have to wear sunglasses to come on this site...ALOT of colour and photos and avatars crap going on Tommy.... Don't know alot about computers Tommy but one thing I do know...Sometimes a simple sore throat can lead to a bad cold and left untreated..pneumonia....Maybe time to address the sore throat...Bob

It seems to be better now. I just hit reply in one of those picture threads and it seemed to work, albeit it took a lot longer than normal to reach the page to type your post. At least I didn't have the freeze up.

There just seems to be alot of quirks on this board lately. I had the logging out problems, where your name stayed visable. Then after that I noticed your name would stay for a while after logging out and dissapear after 10 minutes or so. It seems to disappear correctly now as soon as you log out. I notice that you can't now seem to see what part of the board members are viewing or whether they're active. I know I maybe picky, but it seems not to be running as smooth as it used to.

Man! I'm turning into Bob lol!

I feel bad starting this thread now. I won't have people blaming Christina for the freeze ups. She posted those pics in good faith for our benefit. It does seem to be ok now for me, though.

Brummie....I am not blaming anyone but this site looks NOTHING like it used to graphic wise,posting styles,avatar styles..It all changed a while back and I think we all have a gut feeling that it taking starting to effect the site..Bob

I have no way to fix the "crashing" problem in picture threads or the 24 hour count number. The board is hosted by activeboard.com. Like Bob said though, there are not any viruses or spyware on here causing the problems.
