Shania has two songs in UK's Top 10 most popular wedding songs

Lonestar top wedding dance list

Robbie Williams
Third-placed Angels, by Robbie Williams, is also popular at funerals

The song Amazed by US band Lonestar has beaten Bryan Adams and Robbie Williams to top a list of the UK's most popular first wedding dance tunes in 2007.

UK wedding DJs voted for their top 10 wedding songs and the Performing Right Society then sorted the tracks by number of uses into the final chart.

Number two was Everything I Do, by Bryan Adams, followed by Robbie Williams hit Angels.

Amazed - the country outfit's biggest US hit - failed to reach the UK top 20.

DJs from the UK-disco.com agency voted to select the original 10.

Royalty payments

James Blunt made it into the chart at number four with his much-played song You're Beautiful, while Aerosmith's Don't Want To Miss A Thing came in at five.

Shania Twain was the only artist to appear in the list twice with You're Still The One, at six, and From This Moment On, at nine.

Seventh position went to Truly, Madly, Deeply, by Savage Garden, while Van Morrison's classic Have I Told You Lately reached number eight.

Rounding off the list at ten was Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

Performing Right Society is the body responsible for ensuring that composers, songwriters and music publishers are paid royalties when their songs are used.

I must admit the Lonestar track (pop version) is a favourite of mine, and it's great that Shania got in the list twice.

Shania should have been higher but it is nice she made the list twice. No one else did, Shania knows how to write a good love ballad as I truly believe she meant those sort of words. How could Mutt write these songs if he has become three times a loser?

Right now Shania's lines "if you're not in it for love, if you're not in it for life, I'm outta here" speaks volumes!

That song by Lonestar didn't even make top 20 on the U.K. charts.

This was for 2007 so the list changes all the time. But Shania always has 2 songs on the top 10 list.

What about Shania's You've Got A Way (that was used in the film Notting Hill)? That would make a nice addition, besides FAFA.
