I just read where Saturday night live wanted her as a guest on May 15,1999 but she dropped out at the last minute.
I don't think they ever forgave her for that. they have made jokes about Shania a few times on SNL since then. I remember Tina Fey making a joke about Shania in 2003.
Why bring this up, it's all in the past. She probably had to choose timing wise between this and something else, just as she chose to do the Grey Cup over a visit to the Shania Twain Centre in Timmins. If she was superowoman, she would have liked to done them all so neither lost out.

Get some serious help Lulu. You have a serious addiction to responding to my posts and in fact you start many of the fights. This was posted many weeks ago and I was just curious. I feel sorry for you that you feel a need to get the last word in everytime even though it makes no sense.
You need serious help actually, you appear to be spending your entire life obssessed with a female celebrity you dont even like, the best you can do is dig something up from almost 10 years ago. You dont even know the reason she did not appear, why even make this point? Shania has done hundreds, maybe thousands of appearances and you can only find these scraps to put your case forward? Why so negative? You claim you liked her during this period anyway...

What is the problem is you come on this board and don't identify yourself and then you call me names and slander me.You made several false claims about me in your first post here. I don't even know who you are and you claim to know more than anybody. I know the laws very well and you making threats against me when you come on here and slander me is not very wise. How the heck could anyone make a false claim against you when nobody knows for sure who you are. I would watch what you say to me before you make threats. And you won't have to worry about different points of view anymore since I have advised Tommy that I am leaving this board and I won't post anymore. I respect this board too much to have to put up with this crap and people not being able to take others points of view. So chow for now and live in your fantasy world. I have a life. I still love Shania's music but not her as a person. Time to move on for good.

I checked the user's profile, STF1 logged on from the UK, and I've been informed that none of Shania's band members would actually come on this message board and even if they did, they wouldn't disclose who they were, as they are less likely to get hounded as opposed to someone close to Shania.
Besides Hardy has his own thread over on the Shania Forums, and he hasn't posted on that board since July.
I hope he will continue to post here. I enjoyed reading his posts and he sounds like a nice straight forward person. We need to welcome all Shania fans here. (whoever they might be).
