Vince Gill, Amy Grant Prep Christmas Tour

With the holiday season closing in, Vince Gill and Amy Grant have set a 15-date series of December concerts, the Christmas With Amy & Vince Tour. The itinerary kicks off Dec. 4 in Manchester, N.H., and wraps up with a two-day stand, Dec. 22-23, at the Ryman Auditorium in their hometown of Nashville.

"The job of spreading Christmas cheer has simply gotten too big for Santa and Rudolph to do alone," Vince laughs. "So Amy and I are pitching in. Besides, these holiday tours have become our favorites."

"Christmas audiences are special," Amy adds. "They tend to involve the whole family, and their emotions are a wonderful mix of anticipation and reverence. Its a thrilling experience for both of us."

Amy and Vince have made numerous yuletide appearances together, even before their marriage in 2000. In 1994, when the two appeared on an album for the first time with their duet "House Of Love," Vince joined her Christmas concert at Nashvilles Grand Ole Opry House. In 1996, they were both part of a holiday concert that served as the inaugural event for the Nashville Arena, now known as the Sommet Center.

This years tour will feature a 12-piece band, including a horn section and two backing vocalists. One of those supporting singers is Vinces daughter, Jenny Gill.

The schedule for Christmas With Amy & Vince follows:
