The reigning CMA Male and Female Vocalists of the Year, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will unite to host The 42nd Annual CMA Awards telecast, Wednesday, Nov. 12, on ABC-TV at 8 p.m. ET.
"I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to host the Awards show," says Brad. "We're going to have a good timestart to finish." Carrie adds, "I am so excited to host a show I grew up watching, and am so thrilled to spend this night with the fans and Brad. It's going to be a party!" Carrie and Brad are also set to perform on the live telecast from the Sommet Center in Nashville.
It will be really dull show as always and even duller now that the socalled hosts are announced. I predict their lowest ratings ever. The CMA's have done this mulitple host thing many times and the people don't actually host, they just announce the acts. A monkey could even do that. Nobody cares about the CMA's here because they have disrespected Shania for years when she was actually making music. I don't see much interest in this awards show anymore. The need big stars like Shania,Dolly with international appeal if they want to have good ratings.
i guess they cant handle Dolly's explossive personality and Carrie is WAY boring
They do this all the time and try and mulitple young hosts but it always flops. The socalled semi hosts only introduce acts anyway. It is not like they have to be entertaining. This show will be super dull and I expect a very low ratings.
