Who's back together and who's called it a day? Find out here...
Well, the rumours were true! According to the Sun, Madonna and Guy are heading for a divorce. After months of speculation, the paper claims a statement will be very released soon as the couple "can't bear to live with the pretence any longer". Sources say Madge wanted to wait until her Sticky and Sweet world tour ended, but it seems her and the 40-year-old director will now finalise things by Christmas. The usual reasons are being thrown around, such as busy careers, blah, blah, blah, and Guy has reportedly postponed filming of his new movie Sherlock Holmes and flown back from France to break the news to his parents. Madonna continues with her tour and was in New York for the premiere of her short film, Filth And Wisdom. Expect the talk of money to rage on well past the 'Kelloggs' credit crunch fiasco.
I wonder if shania's separation was 'known' among celebrities how come it never surfaced in the rags, while Madonna's divorce was known months ago even though she was saying that it wasn't true.

You know the answer to that. Shania and Mutt try and keep everything as private as ever and they kept a low profile living in Switzerland and New Zealand. They didn't want to draw attention to their personal situation. AS far as we know they may already be divorced and nobody even will know until they say somerthing.

i know that will never know about the divorce because in Switzerland those papers remail secret but i was wondering about Madonna. how come she couldn't keep it a secret especially when she was trying to deny it?

That is so obvious to answer. She lives in London where all the major tabloids and papparzzi are. She also has always had her life in the public and wasn't shy about it. Simpley, Maddona let the press and media in her life long ago and they will never let go. Shania never let the media in and lives in places where the press don't care about celebs.
actually it all started because of a-rod (a star baseball player for those who don't know him),his wife accused madoona and a-rod of having a affair thats when it all went public and madonna does live in London this all came down in new york a few months ago
Madonna And Guy Ritchie 'To Settle Divorce Next Week'
Madonna and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, expect to settle their divorce by next week, according to reports.
The couple are said to be keen to reach an agreement for the sake of their family.
According to the News of the World, issues on which the couple are still divided include Ritchies wish for their son, Rocco, to be educated in the UK.
Madonna is said to be keen for all the children, including her daughter Lourdes and their adopted son, David, to move to New York.
A family friend told the newspaper that Lourdes, the singers child with dancer Carlos Leon, is acting as a peacemaker.
Lourdes is heartbroken. Although Guy isnt her biological dad she loves him to pieces and loves living with him in London. She wants to visit Guy as often as possible, the friend said.
Shes known him for most of her life, after all.
Last week, Madonnas spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said in a email to the Associated Press news agency that the couple had not reached an agreement.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Madonna continued her 27-date Sticky & Sweet world tour last week amid the divorce drama.
Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie are to be divorced in London tomorrow.

Madonna To Get Divorced Tomorrow
Their case - Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S - is listed at the High Court under the "quickie" divorce procedure.
Their decree nisi is to be announced at 10am in Court 10 of the Principal Registry of the High Court's Family Division.
The couple are unlikely to attend the hearing in High Holborn, which is likely to last a matter of minutes.
A judge will grant the couple a preliminary divorce decree, or decree nisi.
After six weeks and a day they are likely to be granted a decree absolute - and the divorce will become final.
The showbiz couple announced last month they were divorcing after almost eight years of marriage.
Ritchie has reportedly done a "Piper" - by refusing to take a penny of Madonna's estimated £300m fortune.
It is named after actress Billie Piper, who famously walked away from her marriage to Chris Evans without taking any of his cash.
Ritchie, who has had a successful career in his own right, is believed to be worth around £30m.
The couple's two boys - Rocco, eight, and three-year-old adopted David Band will split their time between London and New York.
Lourdes, 12, Madonna's child from an earlier relationship, will remain with her.
According to the Evening Standard, the couple's two female lawyers Helen Ward and Fiona Shackleton have been working round the clock to hammer out a settlement.
Lady Ward, acting for Ritchie, was said to have have brought on board Stephen Cobb QC to negotiate where the children will live.
A source told the newspaper: "It's indicative of Ritchie's priorities that he brought in Stephen Cobb, who is a specialist children's QC.
"Put it this way, you wouldn't go for Cobb if you were after a huge financial settlement."
Mrs Shackleton represented Sir Paul McCartney in his high profile divorce from Heather Mills.
