Tommy, depends on what part of the country you live in!!!Seats where I live, if you win them on the radio, unless you are royalty, or no someone, or know the band ,aren't as great as you might think, especially nowadays, back 10 or 15 yrs ago yeah, but now it's take it or leave it!!!!!!!!!!

I knew what you meant. Remember the radio contest, which CHUM Fm organized last Fall? Winners said they didn't even get to meet Shania or have something signed by her.

Shania Twain appeared as an absolute vision of beauty at the 42nd Annual Country Music Awards Show held last Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee.

She looked ridiculously stunning! The little Canadian country singing gal presented the award for Entertainer of the Year which went to Kenny Chesney. The awards ceremony appearance was Shanias first major public appearance since that loser husband of hers allegedly dumped her for his butt ugly employee. If he even got a glimpse of his ex-wife during that show, Im willing to bet that hes severely regretting his decision of ever leaving her. Who the heck leaves Shania for someone else?

I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, I just wondered if there was anyone on here from the UK that could help me. I just wanted to know why there hasn't been any highlights of the CMA Awards over here this year. In years past they've shown them on the Saturday on BBC2 following the awards. Maybe I missed them last Saturday but I did look out for them and didn't see them listed. I'm not really a big country music fan and I only really wanted to see Shania to be honest. I know there's clips on YouTube of her appearance but I wanted to see it in better quality.

Thanks for that, good to see another Brit on here.smile

I think it would take quite alot of complaints to get a reaction from the Beeb. I usually only record the show as I tend to skim the show and only like maybe a couple of country artists anyway. We used to get a 90 minute highlights package and I would only watch maybe for 15 minutes or so.

Don't see it happening any time soon, they seem more interested in urban music channels .No bull there must be at least 15 music channels on Sky showing rap and RnB crap. Many of those videos are also very sexist and I don't know how they can show them at the times they do. Then they wonder why the kids are carrying knives around when they watch these rap videos.

I'll get off my soapbox now.biggrin

It's glorifying knife/gun crime and gang culture, not the right message at all. That's the reason why I don't watch them.

For those who missed country musics biggest night Nov. 12 on ABC, dont fret.
   Country Music Television (CMT) will rebroadcast the 42nd Annual CMA Awards at 9 p.m. today (Nov. 29).
   First-time hosts and reigning male and female vocalists Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood guided the evening with poise and humor.
   The show included performances by Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn (Ronnie Dunn was raised in Tulsa), Kenny Chesney, The Eagles, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert (she lives in Tishomingo), Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Underwood (shes from Checotah) and Keith Urban.

We told you guys earlier how Kenny was on the cover of People, well it seems they even got the first shot of Kenny and Amy together! The article basically confirms what has been rumored for awhile. That is they have only been dating a few months. It goes on to say how they each visited their families on Thanksgiving together.

Looking Good Is Still the Best Revenge. It worked for Anne Hathaway, who rocked the press tour for Get Smart while her ex-boyfriend was weeping about how prison isn't as cushy as his penthouse. And it REALLY worked for Shania Twain, who divorced her allegedly cheating hubby and then whipped out some intense cleavage at the CMAs. Now that Amy Winehouse is supposedly single, we hope it's her turn. She could start slow with basic nutrients and go from there.
