Thought I'd let you know there is a great 2 page spread on Shania in the December 8th issue of Star Magazine. Check it out if you get a chance. I love to see her in the magazines. It's been so long since we've seen her now is a great time for us and from what I'm reading it will only get better in the months to come. According to new article she is free from Mutt in more ways than one if you can believe what you read. Mutt is the reason she's been so private. But anyway you can read for yourselves. Everybody says the Star is a tabloid but the truth is they got almost everything correct in the things they said about Shania in past articles. Even the fact that she first lost some weight but now has put the weight back on and loves her curves and looks great. If you read those 5 steps they have been pretty acurate in what the situation is. bottom line is Shania is feeling the best she has ever felt and is ready for the big comeback.
It also mentions that Shania did yoga and saw a spirtual person to keep her grounded, that is the exact same think ian undercover said. Her friend also says Shania has been working on a new album including songs that will address her breakup. That will be very interesting. I expect a huge comeback. I know Bobby is excited too!!!

Actually the only reason Shania introduced herself to Taylor is because she heard Taylor is a huge fan of hers and one of her idols. Taylor was too afraid to meet Shania so Shania did the classy thing. Don't think Shania needs pointers on anything from a 18 yearold. Shania has been through stuff Taylor hasnt' even thougth of yet.
The article states Shania is currently working on a new album, including songs (so it's likely, there's going to be more then one) that will address her marriage break-up. I am so happy to read, she's feeling better about herself; the curves really suit her.
As for those things about Mutt (assuming there is some truth), I would hate to be dictated to about how much I should travel, what I should eat and what friends I could see. I don't know how she put with that kind of behaviour for so long. And as I said before, Mutt seems to have trust issues as he didn't want his wife associating with her male pals.
I do believe mutt was a privacy fanatic. I think Shania will come into her ownnow that he is in her past. That is a good thing. I can't wait to hear what she does next (in terms of her music providing she is ready).
Yes magazines do tend to make things more juicy but I do believe that Star magazine has it mosty correct in the facts. The point about Mutt controlling Shania is only made more juicy by saying he controlled what she did. But the facts could be that Shania did what made him happy and wanted to please him which means she was mostly a hermit. So of course Mutt didn't lock her up lol!!! But he made it clear maybe that he would be happy if Shania didn't go out much and Shania wanted to make him happy. And any husband would be jealous of men hitting on Shania. Mutt is 60 yearsold and out of Shania's league as far as looks.It would only make sense he didn't want shania to go out much where she mingles with men.Trust only goes so far. I do believe star magazine has the core of the information correct.
I agree with everything up to the point about trust. He married the girl and then he would freak out every time she made contact with a guy? That's just ridiculous, if you've got a good thing going on, why worry? He should be proud and think to himself, yup, that's my girl. If anything, other guys should be envious of him, dumb jackass that he is.
You know there probably is truth in these reports but it does slightly conflict with our perseptions.
It is known that he was never with her when she was at the award cerominies, talk shows etc. And when she was touring she was surrounded by men.
Her band members for one thing, then there is the backing crew, the sound and lighting technicians. I bet most of these where male so plenty of oppurtunity for any untoward behavior or innocent flirting.

Mutt was a privacy fanatic. I can see him being over the top controlling in this area as well other areas of their lives. Shania really loved this man and it is easy to picture her accomdating him in many areas of their lives.

Does it really matter what the fans think? They are not in the household at all times and neither are those that claim to be friends of Shania or Mutt. We can only judge by actions. And every since Shania met Mutt she became more and more distant and led his hermit lifestlyle. Of course he didn't lock her up and tell her what she had to do. But I am sure Shania wanted to please him and began adjusting that that weird reclusive lifestyle. Shania was a very outgoing person before she met Mutt.
Everyone is entitled to believe what they want. It was important for him, so it was important for her to adhere to his hermit-like way of living.
Nobody cares anymore about their relationship, it is over. Nobody knows anything for sure except for the fact Shania is moving on and so should her fans. He was weird in my opinion and very selfish. Shania always defended him in public but the selfish man never attended any important events like Shania getting the order of Canada.I am sure he could of put aside his selfishness for one night. Shania could of stood up and not let him change her. But maybe she was too weak to do that back then. At least she has left now and hopefully to a more happy life.

Shana was there to make Mutt happy as a good old fashioned wife would. She made countless sacrifices and made sure everything in from of Mutt was the way he liked it. Some people aim to please and find joy in this. Unfortunately it seems it was a one way street and Mutt did not return the favor. He made very little in the way of sacrifices and she put her effort in, but he did not to the fullest capacity as one should. Shameful behavior and yes very selfish.
Being totally one sided and claiming to have grown apart, that's weak.
