OK, I just watched today's show of ET Canada (Entertainment Tonight Canada) They had Ciara Hunt on - she is Editor of Hello! Canada Magazine and they have put Shania and Frederic on the cover. The photo on the cover will be ST and FT walking (in jeans) while in Florida. They also had a photo of them sitting at a table for two having lunch. They also had at least 2 photos of their 'extremely close' tandem sky dive. Let me say that Frederic has very strong bone structure, and you can tell he would be much better looking in person than in photographs.

Ciara said that ST and FT flew into New York, did some shopping, then went to Key West Floriday, stayed at a private beach side bungalow - they were seen kissing and 'he popped an olive into her mouth'
CONFIRMED! They are clearly more than 'just friends' -
Once again, I'm so happy for Shania!
I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this mag when it comes out.
I'll scan it when it comes out!

Why are  you so giddy over the sex life  of Shania?
Do you not find it quite sick and disturbing that she is dating the ex of the woman who cheated with Mutt.Is this wife swapping not disturbing to you?
It is just plain weird. Eja will grow up knowing how his 2 parents have messed up his life.I find that Mutt and Shania are very selfish with their actions and did not once think what it would do to Eja.
Maybe we shoud all be worrred about the new music not some stupid middle age sex fling.


By the way I saw the guys face up close on several pictures, he is very ugly with his facial features.You say he has strong bone struture, more like a massive jaw sticking out and a big nose and a really big face.
But Shania never had good taste in men anyway.

I think us fans should be more worred about what  this does to her  reputation after she played such a poor victim for so long.
So what does she do?She screws around the ex of the woman envolved in the love triangle.I find that very sick.

Shania can't just date anyone - too many crazy fans.
So - we and the major media will certainly let you know when Shania has an album to release. You can keep your distance until then ok?

Wow!!!, that says it all. Some fans are so delusional and think she is the greatest mother nomatter what she does.
And newsflash!!!! You don't know what type of person she is either.

All of this while Eja is innocent and not yet  knowing what his parents have done to him.

Thank you Tommy for making a good point - we are not talking about her 'sex life' here - only one person here has shouted that out. Shania is legally separated and has moved on. That is what we celebrate. Shania is not going to respond to papparazzi who ask her about Frederic 'Yes, we are lovers' - of course she will say they are good friends. And that is the best way to start and base a relationship. As friends who support each other through this very tough, shared experience. They can certainly relate. And have fun. And see their kids when they get their legal time with them.
For now, I am happy to discuss Shania's happiness - and Tommy, me etc...are not talking about her sex life, as you can see. I'm talking about sky diving, and the cool, expensive hand bag she has. So what? Really - dude - if you are upset - you can come back when she has a new CD or perfume to release. You'll feel better. We're good here thanks.

By the way, if Shania never wants to be seen in public, she could hide in New Zealand or Switzerland, like Mutt. She is not a recluse, she is getting out there and enjoying her freedom. So, some photos are published once in a rare while. She smiles and deals with it. She is not Britney.

Yes, and I'm seeing alot of fans respond to this with the attitude of "Good for her!".  Shania has made her career by singing songs about strong women and female empowerment.  Shania dating again is just a continuation of the things that have defined her career.  And most fans know this.

I know I have been hard on Shania for how she hasn't done any music in so  long but now this spectacle that makes   her look really bad and a situation that will hurt Eja.I didn't think I could be more upset with Shania with how she was never honest with the fans about music but this whole tabloid thing that she created on her own by flaunting it in public is really upsetting.

Shania was going to start dating again, that's a given.

The media was going to cover it when she did, that's a given. Probably not to this degree, because of the "revenge" angle, but Shania and a new man would make headlines, no matter who it was.

I'm sure Eja knows Frederic well. The Langes and the Thiebaud's vacationed together for years. Eja probably knows Frederic as a loving, friendly figure. Is the situation odd? Yes. But Eja being introduced to a stranger who is dating his mum could be alot more difficult on him than Eja seeing him mom with someone who he has known as a friendly figure for most of his life.

Anyway, I don't really want to analyze the Eja situation too much, because nobody here knows how the kid is feeling, and that's not really territory that we should be exploring. Shania is a media figure. Eja's role in this is none of our business, because everything that we're speculating about is probably wrong anyway!

I couldn't find any pics of them kissing or him popping an olive into her mouth, I'm surprised the paps would not have caught those moments on camera. I know what you're going to say, just because there are no pics, doesn't mean that it didn't happen. But, entertainment shows like ET Canada tend to embelish on facts to make it sound more juicy.

I am really sick and tired of people like you saying I am bashing just because I don't feel the need to worship Shania and believe everything she says and does.
I am a huge Shania fan who has seen her destroy her image and career in the last few years and that make me sad.
I am just not the type of fan who worships her and believes everything she says and does.
Some of you are too personally envolved in her life when it is the music that we should be concerned about.
Just 3 weeks ago she gave the hint that she is coming back soon and will be in Nashville alot in the next coming months. But were are talking about tabloid trash and her personal life.
My opinion should not be discounted nomatter how uncomfortable some fans feel about my truthful comments.

A kiss is a huge detail, though.  That changes the story completely.  I think ET and Hello! would be hesitant to make up a detail like that if it weren't true.

Besides, who would make up a story about an olive?  That's just an odd little detail that seems more true than false.  Why make up a detail about an olive, of all things?

It is an ugly mess, just when things were looking up for Shania, having had a standing ovation at the CMA's last month. Her publicist isn't really doing a great job and her public image is close to being ruined.

I don't see that at all.  In the world of Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, this is very small potatoes.  Some of the public will say "What the heck is she doing?", an even larger portion of the public will say "Good for her!", and the vast majority won't let this faze them at all.

Wow, yeah poor Eja but why would she sacrisfice everything for her child. I'm sure she knows how to deal with it, and i think she knows not to hurt her child. A single mother who sits around being miserable is probably not very thrilling to be around. I think Eja would rather see his mom happy even if he sees her with a new man. Her life shouln't be stopped because of her kid, ofcourse there's an extent but she loves her that kid and she doens't wanna hurt him :)

I don't know anyone who wants to hurt their child, but sometimes these things occur by the actions of adults. Wife swapping is not something to be proud of, it just sounds disturbing to me.
She could of picked anyone besides the same guy envolved in the love triangle, that is just too weird and some fans don't want to see this.
My guess is that many here are woman and they don't care because as long as she gets back at Mutt.It like a revenge thing to them.

except me of coursebiggrin,i'm 100% female but i do not agree with shania's choice,provided it's true that's she's with Fred,and seeking revenge is not wise.
but lets just wait a little more before we make our conclusions.

I think it's wonderful that Shania has moved on and has decided to get back on the dating scene, but even I do not approve of her relationship with this guy, it can only spell trouble. I wonder how long this will last?

I agree everyone wants her to move on which she has for several months already. But hooking up with this guy was the worst choice she could of made.
It is just disturbing to me to hook up the guy who was a close friend and part of the couple love triangle.It spells huge trouble from Shania's damaged image to what people percieve.

As someone else pointed out, Shania would be written about whoever she's romancing, but in this case, the media are going to be even more intrigued because he is the ex of the other woman; they will dig for whatever dirt they can find on the pair, and try and bring her down with it.

It is true: 'twain2Country' - Shania will be written about whoever she is not only romancing, as you said, but any man she is photographed with - as that doesn't mean they are for sure dating - but that is what sells magazines.

She is a smart, strong woman and I can't wait until her new album comes out (hopefully in the spring) and she can tell us how she feels the way she knows best: through her music.
