Shania Twain's new relationship goes south

MIAMI BEACH (PGN)>> Country-pop superstar Shania Twain enjoyed several days of fun and sun in Florida after touching down in New York City last week with her rumoured new boyfriend Frederic Thiebaud.

The 43-year-old Canadian singer and Thiebaud (pictured in video image) arrived in Key West on Saturday evening and checked-in at the Ocean Key Resort & Spa. On Sunday afternoon, the couple went skydiving and then enjoyed a long lunch on the patio of Help Yourself organic restaurant before browsing some of the tourist-friendly shops and kiosks on Duval Street.

On Monday afternoon, Twain and Thiebaud drove nearly four hours to the Miami area, where they settled in for a few days at a high-end luxury hotel.

Thiebaud is the estranged husband of the woman who was accused of breaking-up Twain's 14-year marriage to music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange.

So according to this, Shania and Frederic went from a resort and spa in Key West to a luxury hotel in Miami. And they still may be there!

Thanks for the info! I just looked at The Ocean Key Resort & Spa website. Stunning.........and so romantic. I'd fall in love with the towel boy in a place like that. Wow! Miami is great - if they went there as well, we'll probably see photos as there is always tons of paps there.

I'm going to keep an open mind, but if People.com says that Shania and Fred are just friends, I'm going to have a very hard time believing them. People.com also said that Shania was in NY to shop with a bunch of friends, and Fred was just one of these friends along for the ride. Yet they conveniently fail to mention that the next day, Shania and Fred (and Fred alone) would fly down to Florida, staying at luxury spas and hotels, on a mulit-day private vacation. Shania's people who talked to People had to know that Shania and Fred would be going on this Florida trip alone, yet they played the NY "shopping" visit as if that was Shania's big weekend plan. Which it clearly wasn't.

The media said Shania and friends went to NY problem with that is the video shows just Shania with Fred in the background going threw the airport then into the limo, where were her other friends?I just don't get why the media would print stuff that is so easly disproven

Agreed, but the bottom half also is what makes it a bikini. The Maxim photo is more like a sarong bottom or pant s or whatever the heck it is she has on.

Just curious about something.
Many on this site are woman and you keep saying as long as Shania is happy.
What does that mean? So if she is happy robbing a bank then you are happy for her?
Does Shania need a man to be happy?
Is she so needy that she can't be without a guy for any amount of time?
Shania has led a great life that most of us could only dream of but yet you are more worried about her than you own family it seems.
So why does Shania need a man all the time to be happy?
Why doesn't she concentrate on her son and music, those should be her top priorities.
You are all right it is Shania's life and who are we to tell her how to live it.
But come on people, worry about your family not if a zillionaire is happy and has a new man in her life.
I just don't get it that some woman are so needy that they need a man by their side all the time. Instead of flaunting her boyfriend to the world she should be home looking after her son and creating music.
This will only feul the fires by some that say Shania is unstable now.

And one question has not been answered. Why was she playing games with the press. First pretending not to be with eachother at the airport and then getting in the same limo. Then saying they are just good friends and then been seeing together and at the same hotel with the guy in Florida. She was playing a game with everybody.
Do you think she was acting very immature that whole trip.

Learn the difference between an opinion and bashing.

So where has Shania gotten herself to?

I just got an email a while ago about a possible Shania story coming out next week in Hello! Canada about Shania and Frederick Thiebaud being spotted walking together�while in Florida, sitting at a table having lunch with Fred popping an olive in Shania's mouth, and the two kissing.� It's also said Shania and her ex-friend's ex-husband stayed at a private beach-side bungalow in the Florida Keys.�

Is this all true?� I have no clue, but on several Shania forums the buzz is that the editor of Hello! Canada was on Canada's Entertainment Tonight to talk about the story.� Unlike America's ET, Canada's doesn't have much video for fans to watch so I haven't been able to track down if this story is true or not, but I have read the Shania forums and people ARE talking so I guess next week we'll see.�

I do find it extremely odd that other than the pictures last week of Shania and Fred at JFK, no other pictures or videos have emerged and no stories�have been�circulating.� The only thing I've seen since then is a videoof Michael Buble in New York saying Shania was inside Madison Square Garden�where he was getting ready to perform.�

So anyone have a clue where Ms. Twain is?� Is she still in New York or has she in fact gone to the Keys?� Or has she gone somewhere else.� The woman is a mystery....which is probably how she prefers it.�

I'm still holding judgment until all this ridiculous speculation and rumors are weeded out and what becomes truth. But yes Eja should be top priority, I've said that before and after the separation. And I'm tired of twisted behavior as well. I too don't get the women who need a man at all times, my sister can be like that. Not for a minute it seems they can be alone and take self control. But whatever.

I can understand how these two (Shania and Frederick) could get involved. I've said before that no doubt they shared deep feelings with regards to the break up of both of their marriages. That kind of emotional intimacy can lead to deep friendship and involvement. I am still not convinced they are more than friends but on the other hand if they are involved I would not be surprised. Either way I have to say it is nice to see Shania out and about smiling and having fun. If she is involved romantically I hope she writes a great love song.lol

Sorry, I know you find this whole situation disturbing too.
When there is a child envolved then I get more conservative.
I feel sorry for Eja that his 2 parents acted like this.
I don't hold judement, because they are dating and they have been for quite some time, they just went public this weekend.
So this love affair is true and Shania is running around with the ex of the woman who cheated with Mutt.
I know you feel the same way that I do and it has nothing to do with telling Shania how to live her life.It has to do with morals and what Eja will think when he grows up. Nobody was thinking of Eja,� just there own self.

They were not involved when Shania and Eja were in Canada this past summer. They got involved sometime after her return to Swizerland. Children are resilient. Eja would be happy if his mom was happy...for all children that is their main concern.

YOu don't know that at all.� You have no proof either way.
And you also should not speak for a child who has not yet grown up to understand what his parents did.
It is a very sad situation and Shania played a part in it as did Mutt.

Yes I do party naked all night from time to time but I am single and have no kids and love to have fun at clubs.
When it comes to kids, you put aside your own selfishness and don't screw them up.

I'm surprised that Shania and Fred would choose this as a vacation spot, where it's obvious, they are going to fall right into the hands of the press. Why not Europe, where the paparrazi laws are a lot stricter and that way they wouldn't get as much privacy intrusion.

Why are you surprised? They did that this weekend to go public that they are a couple. Shania could make herself low profile any time she wants, even in Miami. There are many measures she could take to out without being spotted even in Miami.It is not like there is a huge gang of papps running after her, they worry about the younger stars.
Shania has lived her life free of this stuff her whole career, she has very little people following her. Now when she gets a bit of tabloid coverage the fans get so upset. Give me a break, she went out this weekend to be spotted and to show everyone she is with a new boyfriend.
They did their little public flaunting for a few days and then vanished either by private jet to Switzerland or they took measures to hang around� low� profile around Miami.
