How do I post clickable links?

Every time I try to post a link, it doesn't turn out to be clickable

hmm

How do I make it clickable?  I see a "Insert/Edit Link" button when I'm entering a new message, but that button is always greyed out for me.  It can't be clicked on.

What I am doing wrong?

What I do is go up to the address bar and highlight the URL addrsss/link and then copy and paste it here. Also, when you are posting, make sure you use the Advanced Editor instead of the Quick Reply.

That didn't work. cry

I hit the Reply button in your message above.

I copy & pasted the url I wanted to post

I hit Submit Post.

And I get an unclickable link.

The "Use Advanced Editor" button IS checked.

Do I need to do anything else?

Ah-ha!  It works with Internet Explorer, but not Firefox. 

I like Firefox better, but if I need to post a link here I'll just switch to IE.

I too use firefox.  What I do is simply paste a link and then place url in brackets [ ] in front and [/url] behind the link.
