Can someone post what Shania has put in her thank you note. Thanks!

I did not join her official fan club. Fans in the States have greater advantage than anyone living outside, so that's the reason why, and of course, it is badly managed.

Tonyme said that Angie posted a message on the OFC to say that it's handwritten by Shania and it's a thank you note for all the fan club members! Some fans were questioning if it's a message written by someone else on her behalf.

From what I've been told, she thanks fans for their support this year and signed the note again�'Love, Shania'.

The magnet has a group of words associated with Shania on them...Mutt is not mentioned, but Eja is. There is an exclamation point, the words.... horse, family, Timmins, along with a list of song titles.

How much does it cost to be a member of her fan club?

It costs like $28.00 a year. It's worth it for her though. I mean priviledges aren't paying off yet but maybe when the new album comes out it will. I've only been a member 2 years. She used when it was first started post letters to the fanclub but stopped not long after claiming she didn't have time. Maybe this year she will see that we need a little TLC while she's coming back to us after all we will be the ones to give her the most and the best support and you do get good dibs on concert tickets.

If? Well it has been 6 years since a studio album and she gave no hint to the fans of anything in her generic letter.
I think the window has closed for her pretty quick.
She gave the fans hope with her cma appearance but since then it has been a romantic tour and back to ingnoring the fans again with generic messages that her publicist wrote.
As a fan her games of toying with the fans will catch up to her.
I see her next project not doing as good as her label thinks and I see many fans turning their back on her.
You would think she would be more personal to her fans after all the support they gave her but yet she is as cold as ever.
Giving her fans to assurance of new music or anything.

Sorry folks but in my opinion this is more bad news as Shania missed another opportunity to tell her fans anything about music

Did you look at the post of the card. It is not something her publicist wrote. This is her handwriting that has been photocopied onto the card. You can tell it is her writing if you look at it. It will never be too late for her because it's about the music and nothing else. She can write and sing better than anyone out there and if you don't believe that then maybe you are not as good a fan as you claim to be. Give up on her if you want to that is your right and yes it does drive you nuts waiting to hear new music and not seeing her everywhere on t.v. and in the magazines but the time is coming again when you won't be able to turn on the t.v. or radio or look at a magazine without seeing her on it. It will be another Shania Shangra la.
That means paradise. For every one so called fan who gives up on her there will be others to take their place trust me I am seeing to that. Give up if you want but turn in your fanclub card if you have one cause if you give up now you're crazy. She is coming back and she will hit like an atomic bomb. The ShaniApocalypse is coming soon!!!

shania is on her way back, and this year is a busy year for her. she has a new album coming out, and an announcement any day now, a tour in the fall, Shania is back in 2009, trust me. did everyone read the letter i got today from carrie.

Everyone here is a committed fan, we've all been patient and all this news about her anticipated new album and upcoming return to the scene is exciting for all of us especially with some of the information alledgedly coming from her sisiter.
But Kevy, who is without doubt a huge fan, is making a good point about Shania missing opputnities to gain a more personal conection with her fans. At no point to date has she made any attempt to tell us of her hopes and expectations regarding releasing new music.
She has not however had any hesitation in letting us know she has another 'close friend' in her life who she galavants around from country to country with on an intimate interlude.

Why are we still awaiting this expected announcement. She could have told us at the cma's. She informed us we would be seeing more of her, so why has she kept us hanging on, ignoring us, when she could of given us reassurance, what is this delay about?
Why didn't she tell us yesterday, or tells us tomorrow instead of 'soon!'
Talk about treat em mean, keep em keen!!

It's the fact she does take her fans for granted that some of us have an issue with, and she could possibly have created lasting damage to her credibibility with some fans.
Let's just hope she makes up for these 'games' with an awesome CD!

According to another Shania board the Fan Club is a waste of space. I've never been sad enough to join so I can't talk from personal experience, I think there was some petition against it at one time. Really anyone over say 19 years of age�who joins a Fan Club needs to get a life, alhough I do feel for the younger members if they're really been ripped off.

The Fan Club is useful when she's touring, as it gives you access to concert tickets. When she's not touring, which is more often than not, the Fan Club isn't worth it, IMO.

I was a member in 2003 and 2003 only for the reason of concert tickets and I still ended up with nose bleed seats. I quickly changed my ticket finding tactics and did A LOT better.

Don't they do pre-ticket sales???
That way fans could buy tickets before they go on sale

Take no notice of me Tonto as I've had a nightmare few weeks and am a right misery at the moment. I suppose Fan Clubs don't just appeal to me and I do think fansites and message boards have made them somewhat redundant these days. Those gifts you received sound cool but they wouldn't appeal to me as a guy. Also as a European we're exempted from the ticket pre-sales which would be the only thing that would appeal to me. I must admit from when I used to post over at Shania forums I heard alot of bad stuff regarding the Fan Club, although I did get the impression that there was little balance at the time.

I always said Shania is very talented and Mutt helped her become a massive star, that is the truth.
Without Mutt she would of never reached the level she did. It was the collaboration of the 2 that was special.

That's your own�observation and you're entitled to think that, but other fans, don't see it that way. And we have no clue as to what went through Shania's mind during�that time or what stress or anxiety she may have been under, but it would be more fair to say, she got fed up of celebrity and just wanted a life for herself and that meant abandoning music.

Many people go through much worse in their life and move on and don't make excuses.
I told you that I stopped talking about this long ago by you are bringing it up again.
I don't want to rehash this old stuff. It is what I believe to be true, deal with it.
Shania doesn't care what you or I think. Fans can have opinions just like everyone is allowed to.
As for other fans, I know many that feel the same way I do on several points.
Being a Shania fan doesn't mean kissing her butt 24 hours a day and making every excuse in the book for her.
Just take a look at yourself for a second. You are defending a multi zillionaire who doesn't even know you exist.You are defending a woman who has not worked in years or even made contact with her fans in years. While you and others go about their job and work everyday and some of that money goes to this artist who has made hundreds of millions off the fans.
I am just putting things in perspective. We are all fans but lets not go over the top and defend her and treat her better than the average person who goes about their job and has much worse problems than Shania.
I really don't want to rehash this again but if you bring it up then I will respond.

Shania is a big girl and has every right to� live�� her life the way she wants like any other person in a free society.
Where many fans have a problem(not just me) is the way she misleads them and is not� honest or upfront with them regarding her music career.Shania is not a God and not above being questioned about her motives and the way she has treated her fans. I guess we will see how many fans are fed up with Shania's actions when she releases a new album.

No Kevy your missing the point,when did Shania make the statement she is passionate about music,how many years ago was that?My guess it was before her son was born and how many years has she been in the biz,but you always miss that point.Maybe she is more passionate about being a mother than a musician.And just like your comments on the STC that they only built the place for her is just ridiculous,you miss the point there to because if you think the Timmions public officials weren't trying to use her name to draw tourist to Timmions you miss the point there to,and as you always do you try to use it to bash Shania.

Nope, you miss the point as always and twist everyones words around.
I find it so funny that you keep up bringing up being passionate about being a mother as if to say those who can balance both are not good mothers.
The truth is that Shania is not as passionate about being a mother as you claim either. She has a nanny always who looks after Eja and she goes on lots of trips. And now she has been running around with her new lover for weeks.
So everytime you say something so absurd I could name many things contradicting what you say.
The truth Kelc is that Shania is no better a mother than anyone and maybe the truth is that her weird lifestyle is worse for Eja. That arguement can be made.
Maybe if she had a more balanced life and kept busy with her music then her personal life wouldn't of been so bad.
Eja is more�messed up now than ever because of Mutt and Shania.
So next time you make absurd comments like Shania being so passionate about being a mother, take a look at her personal life.

I am a fan of Shania's music but there are so many other people who set better examples of being a mother and morals.
