But I have to say how can Shania and Fred have been best friends for�10 years? Her and Mutt only moved to Switzerland in 2000, and have known the Thiebaud's�for 8 years.

Where it says Shania views Fred as "family"...that ties in with what US Weekly said in their previous article; she sees him like a brother.

I don't like the main picture of Shania, I mean, I have never noticed the bags under her eyes before, Well at least not to that extent! It's the first time i 've seen picture of hert hat makes her look old. May be she was just tired? Still what ever the reason, most unflattering IMO.

Well, she is 43 after all! Despite some fans (not on this board) thinking that she looks 18 still! lol She is aging, and when you see up-close candids of her face, she has bags and wrinkles. All her cover photos are majorally retouched (just like othe celebs). She still is beautiful, but up-close she looks her age in my opinion. And nothing wrong with looking your age. Some people thinking saying someone who looks their age is an insult! lol It just means you look your age! That can still mean they look good!

I disagree 100% with both you and Jimbo.
Shania looks younger than her age. I would say she looks about 35.
winkles?lol!!! If you look close enough and have a close up on anybody at any age, they all have some wrinkles.
So while she does not look 18 or 25, she sure looks� younger than 43 in� my opinion.

I agree. It does make me laugh when the cultists on other boards say she looks in her twenties. To me she looks late 30's at best and she has had quite a few lines around her eyes for many years now, maybe all the smiling for the pics over the years have caused those. smile

�To my eyes she's still a beautiful woman even if she is starting to age.

The crazies on the other boards always avoid posting the pics that show her wrinkles/smile lines/bags under her eyes! lol It is their way of avoiding that she is aging I guess! I would say that she looks like she is in her late 30's. Of course she looks amazing; she is a beautiful woman. Just like Christy Brinkley looks amazing for her age. But when I look at both of these ladies, they look their age and the show clear signs of their age. And you are right, Shania has had wrinkles for many years now around her eyes/mouth that have been pretty prominent. I would think that they could be from smiling for so many pictures!

First of all, I don't see any bags under her eyes, maybe you are seeing things others aren't.
Secondly every single person has wrinkles by their eyes, even 20 something yearolds I see.
I have seen wrinkles under her eyes a bit for years just like any close up of any celeb I see.
I have also seen many fans post pictures where you can see her wrinkles so you are wrong that they avoid posting it.
I have seen woman in their late 20's look much older than Shania.

and in all fairness I only notice wrinkles (crow's feet) by her eyes when she smiles. A straight face Shania has no noticeable wrinkles. And she has no laugh lines around her mouth or frown lines and lines across her forehead like many of the women get by then. And her complexion is glowing healthy. She can easily pass for someone under 35, but no not under 30 anymore. A few years ago yes. She maintains about near a 10 year difference. Like when she was 31 and Larry King said you look 22.

Great pic country gal, she looks stunning there no matter her age. In that pic you can't deny that's a 40 something beautiful woman.

In fact I don't think it's wrinkles or bags under the eyes that age any person male or female, more the skin of an older person looks harder and less soft than say a 18-25 year old. In that pic Shania's skin gives off the glow of an older woman rather than any lines on her face. It's always hard to judge the age of a person as you can offend someone if you say they're older than they're, men are just as senstive to this as you women. smile

�You can usually guess to within say 5 years or so, although some people are lucky enough to look young for their age.

Quotes sources close to Shania as saying she's in love with him and he may be the new one for her and may walk down the aisle with him eventually. Check it out. May not be true but it also talks about their time in Florida and how cozy they were together and that they only spoke in French to each other. Smart lady, speaking in code so no one could know what they were saying to each other.

Shania can speak some French, but I don't think she is fluent in the language. How do Enquirer know she only spoke to him�in French, was they eavesdropping on their conversations the whole time, they were together�in Florida? Doesn't add up to me.

I agree i don't believe much thats in the Enquirer, but Shania is fluent in french.There's a interview on utube that she speaks in only French,and does it like her first language.As far as the two of them being in love, most relationships start off like that,holding hands and smiling a lot only time will tell.

I saw the Enquirer today at my local store.� No new pics, as far as I could tell, and the article was about Shania "Test Driving" Fred for marriage.� No real new info, either, except they said that Shania was seen on the balcony of her hotel room in Florida wearing pajama bottoms in the early evening.� They implied that Shania and Fred had rolled out of bed together.� Gotta love the Enquirer!� aww

If you read this article closely it says that Shania and Fred went to a bar together to watch the sunset and she was in her PJ bottoms.� It didn't mention what Fred was wearing and also said that they were speaking softly to each other in French.� Shania is very fluent in French.� Her son speaks fluent french and it is considered his first language.� I read in her bio that she took lessons and everyone who came to her house in Switzerland if they could speak french were required to speak it around her so she could learn it.� That was quite a few years back so I'm sure by now she is very fluent in the language of love better known as french.� You may not put much stock in what the Enquirer says but weren't they the first to say Madonna and Guy were getting divorced and about the A-rod stuff?� Sometimes they are not too far off from the truth and I'm sure the people in Florida where they stayed would be more than happy to talk about them to anyone who would listen.� The skydiving people said they acted like a young couple in love.� I can't understand why all of the sudden she came here parading him around if they are not a couple.� Why act like you are and then deny it.� Why not say you are and let everyone get on with it.� Maybe she's looking for acceptance from people.. She had to know the controversey it would cause.� Maybe she and Fred have been an item for a while over in Switzerland and we didn't know about it.� We have no clue because the press doesn't hound her there like here.� If that's the case why not stay in Switzerland and be happy with Fred until she comes back to music? Makes no sense.� It's all very confusing.� I hope she doesn't get hurt worse.� Just a few thoughts.
