I'm almost convinced it`s someone doing a real good job of faking it.

Notice there are no pictures of CA other than those that have been posted in magazines or on the internet.

Just my opinion... I dont know for sure.

Some band memeber have talked to her and it is her.
I can't believe we are still aguing about if it is her or not.
Bobby, you know how I like you and�think most of your posts are great. But you have been wrong quite a bit lately on your socalled sources and socalled people you talk to.
If you actually had any source then name it instead of claiming to talk to someone at the STC. Because I have emailed someone close to the STC and they say it is Carrie Ann and they have exchanged posts.
I think it is clear it is Carrie Ann because nobody with credibiliy has come here and said it isn't/
Angie saw the post about Carrie Ann and never said anything and never shot it down. Nobody from the STC has come here to stop the rumors and shoot it down.Nobody from Shania's band has come here to shoot it down.

Wrong, it is her, some band memebers know her and said that is her profile and that is her.
Also she said she uses pictures that people are already familar with. She�doesn't want to share private pictures of herself.

Folks listen to your Guru...Posted above is the statement, that the reason she does not put her own pictures on facebook�but instead scans from mags is because she is a private person..Secondly if what�the band members are telling walter is it true..BRING THEM ON...AND LASTLY.. The insanity that Carrie is so private that she won't post ACTUAL pictures of her,BUT not so private that she well tell unknowns all about her sister..INSANITY...Anyhoe..Until Sunday....Solong

Here is a fact that� you seem to ignore.
Why has nobody at all with crediblity shot this rumor down.
The rumor about Carrie� Ann has been going on for awhile.
Why hasn't Angie who logged in on Jan 3rd shot the rumor down?
Why hasn't any band member who browse this site shot the rumor down?
Why hasn't an authority from the STC come to this site and shot the rumor down?
Nobody with credibility has shot this rumor down at all.
The facts are that Carrie Ann does have a facebook account and that is her profile, stop being so paranoid.
You claim to talk to someone from the STC, Well as you say bring it on. Tell that person to come here and shoot the rumor down.
I am guessing you think all the band members exchanging posts with her and emailing her are fake too lol!!!

I didn't contact you of course but I emailed someone connected to the STC.And I meant to say� band members�have exchanged posts.�And it wouldn't really matter anyway since you are or nobody there is an authority on��whose profile is real or fake.
Maybe do a little research yourself on Carrie Ann and her profile and who contacted her before claiming� it is fake.
She won't bite, ask her a question yourself since� you claim it is not her.
it is no big deal, Shania's sister has a facebook account, lets not get so parnoid.

i think its fake,first off she tells everyone the cd is hush hush but talks to random people on the internet about it,she's says that she only uses public photo's what would a fake do.AS far as her profile if we can research it so could a fake,and why would band members contact her on facebook why not just e-mail her?

You obvioiusly don't have a clue about facebook if you have to ask why not just send email.
Instead of saying that it is fake maybe do your own research.
Why are you asking people here why the band members contact her through facebook? Go and ask yourself and do your own research.

Don't try and convince these people here of anything. They only believe what they want without doing their own research.Most here thought it was all a lie that Shania would be at the CMA until I�was the first to post she was spotted in Nashville.
she only told a bit something to peeve and his step dad because they are from timmins and went to her school and�she didn't �even give details of anything to Peever either. She just said the announcement of when the cd will be out will come very shortly. Big deal, why is everyone so paranoid.

That's a good point. I know it is Carrie, because my contact in Virginia confirmed it was and she wouldn't�waste her time�writing to her if she thought it was a fake.

My contact in Virginia emailed me, she's listed down as 1 of 3 mutual friends on Carrie's profile (along with Grace Billington and Hardy). I do believe if Angie says it is fake then it probably is fake. The person must be a real good con person.
Shania cannot keep misleading the fans like this.
She has given us hints in her letter and her appearance at the CMA that she will be back for sure but I am starting to think the label and Shania are toying with the fans on purpose and lying to them by misleading them.
They don't want to say anything because they don't know themself when Shania will get off her butt and into a studio.
Maybe she is too busy having love affairs with swiss men.
But this misleading of the fans for� years has to stop.
Shania knows very well about the fans thinking she will have a new album soon but she does nothing to be upfront and clear things up with them.
If Shania has no intention of putting out an album this year then the label and her need to tell the fans this and be honest.
It is going on 7 years since her last studio album and tons of misleading info by everyone.

Shania has been cruel to the fans and mislead them for years.
She could be upfront with the fans and tell them the truth.

First off, I am giving Angie the benifit of the doubt, nobody is 100% sure if that is Carrie Ann.
Remember Angie also said Frederick and shania are just friends but they are sleeping together and went on a romantic tour.
Second off, Shania did mislead and scam the fans.� She could of said outright that there would be no cd each of the last many years. But she pretended that one would be out soon.
We don't know anything except the fact that Shania could be honest and upfront with the fans but she chooses not to.
I call it as I see it. And Shania has totally mislead and scammed the fans.
What was her lame ploy of coming to the cma and saying I will be seeing alot of you soon?

We have been guessing speculating for years about everything.
All it would take is for Shania to stop hiding behind people and come out and tell her fans the honest truth.
If she says I am lazy and want to concentrate on my love life then we have an answer at least.We won't like it but at least we know the truth.
I just care about her music plans.
She has played the victim and hid behind everyone while at the same time avoiding questions about music.
I think any honest fan can see this.
Why shove her lover down our throats in the most public way in New York while at the same time no word about music and no comments to the fans about music.
WE have been patient and waiting for years and what does she do? Ingnores answering questions about music but yet has her friends ready to give quotes and make her such a victim in all magazines and she parades Frederick around the world.

Just got an email back from my contact in Virginia.

She already knows about what Angie has been posting, and so does Carrie apparently. And having contacted band members, Hardy said he knew Shania's sister Jill used Facebook and Mark has been on there�in the past. She concluded her email by saying that Angie will need more proof and if it's fake, then why hasn't she or the band reported it to Facebook?

I don't think anyone begrudges Shania having a personal life. She is a grown adult and is entitled to make her own choices, whether we personally approve of her decisions and actions is not a big deal.
But some of us do have a issue with the fact that neither Shania herself or anyone official has not yet informed us- her fans, of her plans career wise.
I personally am an active member here at Tommy's because I appreciate Shania as a musical artist. So this is my primary concern. I don't think I am being unreasonable to want to know
1/ Is Shania working on new music
2/ when should we expect the new album
3/are we going to get an announcement any time soon.

I think your hero does begrudge Shania for having a personal life.The problem with your hero is he attacks Shania for everything.Waiting for� new music is fine ,its all the other crap he post's that upset other members.
