Jennifer Aniston got John Mayer warmed up for his Grammys performance at her 40th birthday party Saturday night.

Sources tell E! News exclusively that Aniston and Mayer danced and huddled close all night at the bash, which Aniston hosted at her new Beverly Hills home. "She looked hot, and she and�John looked really happy," says a source.

The affair was a star-studded one. Among the guests were Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Crow, David Arquette and wife Courteney Cox, Tobey Maguire and wife Jen Meyer, Laura Dern, Kevin Nealon, E!'s Chelsea Handler, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. (Brangelina, predictably, were not in attendance.)

Revelers partied inside and outside of the sprawling hillside estate, beginning shortly after 7 p.m. until well past 2 a.m.

Another bonus for Aniston: She kept the media at bay. "The police kicked all the paparazzi out of the neighborhood," says a source.

E! Doesn't mention Shania being there, but with that line about the paparazzi, we probably won't see any pics even if she was there.

So she's in or was in California? Why no pictures or news? Wonder if anyone was with her.
Kind of weird that she would come all the way here just for a party doesn't it? Why is it we never get an answers. Is there proof that she was there? Just curious as to why she's here if she didn't go to Grammy's.

The grammy' s have nothing to do with this. Shania hasn't attended the grammy's in 10 years and there are other reasons for that.

We are talking about Jennifer's party and I do agree that she wasn't there.
We would of seen other tidbits of her there by some other magazine if she was anywhere near a highly publicized part like that.
Just like some article said that Shania was at the L.A. Laker game many months ago and she wasn't anywhere near there.

I do agree we have no clue how she actually is without Mutt.
As far as we know she may be attending lots of these things when her music is out.

Even from own mouth she said that she used to roll joints for her friends when they went out to bars.
She also said she has used to have gay friends that she went out to clubs with.
I don't know what� you have been reading but Shania was very much outgoing and liked going out with her friends before she met Mutt.

Yeah but look how these celbs behave, lol.� Some do like to mention they smoke.� Shania until this split was in a more steady state of mind and most of her past stories indicate she had other things to worry about.� They even say she was only having one drink while at Deerhurst, nursed all night, just to appear socialable.� She even said to people she knew, you want to put something on your tongue, do acid, go ahead, but I'm not interested.� That's how I was in school.� Just something about her tone and body language seems legit to me.
