Taylor Swift accomplishes feat only obtained by Garth and Shania

Taylor Swift adds another accomplishment to her growing list of achievements. Her two albums, Taylor Swift and Fearless have spent 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums sales chart. The only other country artists to have achieved this feat are Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Taylor is also the only artist this decade to have two albums spend 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart.

Swift's sophomore album, Fearless is the top-selling album in all genres of music so far in 2009. Her total career CD sales are nearing 8 million albums sold, and she's earned over 18 million paid song downloads. Her Fearless 2009 Tour is one of the top country tours this year, with sold-out shows earning top reviews as she continues to improve her performing skills. She has dates scheduled through mid-October.

If touring and recording aren't enough, Taylor is also adding to her acting résumé with a role in the upcoming romantic comedy Valentine's Day which stars Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway and Patrick Dempsey. "Twilight" star also appears to be part of the cast, although this isn't confirmed. Photos of the Taylors kissing have popped up on the net. The storyline of the film follows five interconnected couples in Los Angeles on Valentines Day. Previously, Swift had a role in an episode of CSI in March of this year, and she had a cameo in Hannah Montana: The Movie.
