Back in 2003, Chicago's country station had a special on Shania and the DJ asked her questions like "Where did you get the ideas for that song? She said that she reads Eja a book about a mother having her son and every night she would hug him. The mother does this throughout his life. But when the mother is dying from old age, he holds her in his arms.

loll omg my mom used to read me this book every single day of my life! I practically memorized it, haha i think its cool that Shania enjoyed that book as well. Now I can link the book to the song, I remember the book saying..."I love you forever, I want you for always as long as I'm living my baby you'll be"
