Shania Twain and Billy Joel are not making sweet music together.

The National Enquirer reported that Twain, 44, and Joel, 60, have been going on secret dates, but Twain's rep tells "Extra" that the "story is not true."

Twain has been romantically linked to Frédéric Thiébaud since splitting from husband Robert "Mutt" Lange, who reportedly was cheating on her with Marie-Ann Thiébaud -- Frédéric's ex!

Joel introduced "Extra" to girlfriend Deborah Dampiere on the opening night of the Metropolitan Opera back in September.

It wouldn't surprise me if they went out together.  Reports of romance between them would surprise me, though.

Hi.
Looks to me like she is still wearing the matching ring that Fred gave her.  To me that says she is still with Fred.  I am thinking if Fred was not with her then he was home with the kids and the only reason she would leave the kids is if she felt they were with someone she trusts very much.  I am sure it is hard for her to be away from her family but knowing they are all together and waiting for her to return makes it easier.  I think if Fred were with her she would have stayed around longer.  Just my thoughts.
I,m also sure the Billy Joel thing was a private joke between the two of them that the press only heard part of and then the press as they always do added their own spin to make the story more sinister and exciting as if something more was going on.  Just the press being the press and wanting to stir up trouble and sell papers.  Just my opinion.

TWAIN/JOEL ROMANCE REPORTS 'NOT TRUE'

Tabloid reports linking SHANIA TWAIN to BILLY JOEL romantically have been shot down by the country star's publicist.

The National Enquirer first reported the couple was an item, suggesting they'd enjoyed a string of top secret dates - but Twain's rep insists, "the story is not true".

Twain has been romantically linked to Frederic Thiebaud since splitting from her husband Robert "Mutt" Lange last year (08), while Joel has been introducing Deborah Dampiere as his girlfriend since breaking up with wife Katie Lee this summer (09).

I guess the Enquirer reporters didn't view the 'love and travel-fest' video of Shania and Fred in England, Lebanon, Dubai, Egypt......and those Times Square shots have that distinctive 'Fred's i-phone' touch if you ask me.

I'm sorry guys, but I have to laugh at this!! This shouldnt have even entered the media as a 'relationship'! To read that Shania Twain is not dating Billy Joel is just pathetic! Obviously there is not a enough making the news stands these days....

Those photos of Shania with Billy Joel are fantastic photos and show that Shania has plenty of time for Billy and is obviously a true fan! They did not reflect any romantic involvement at all, in my opinion. Because, hey, shes also hugging her Tour Manager in much the same way. I think this just shows that Shania is feeling a lot more freedom to get out there and enjoy herself... Because you must admit, it looks like she is having a great time! She is no longer a 'Robot' as her brother, Darryl, once said.

Anyway guys, you dont see me around here much but I am always looking... So thats my little rant for today =) Have a great weekend!!

This is the kind of rumor that tears apart relationships.  Sad...causes people to doubt their partner.  Trust is a hard thing to come by anyway these days.  Just my thoughts.

All stars are linked to other stars. People who date stars should realize that. What they are doing to Shania is no different than what they do to any other star. The tabloid covers are plastered with the latest star pairings, star cheatings, star hookups....Shania is no different.

People act like they are being mean to Shania and picking on her. They pick on ALL celebs. They are not just singling her out.
