"I just met Shania! I can't believe I'm actually writing this to you guys. I never thought it could happen, especially not tonight. I'm in Montreux studying french and of course being here, I thought of going to Geneva tonight and see if I could at least see her as she got into the building. I went along with Eleonora and there outside the building there were already some people. They all had one of her albums so it was clear to see they were fans waiting for her. I also met Claudine and we talked to her a bit while waiting for over an hour for her to arrive.

Suddenly, at 7.49pm a gray car pulled along and there I saw Fred and Shania. I was shaking and smiling soooooo bad lol. She came out of the car and said hi to all of us. Then she started speaking in French to some people and taking pictures for the photographers. Then she smiled at us and walked back to us and started signing our cd's. When I saw her signing my album I had tears in my eyes. I couldn't stop looking at her face. She's SO damn beautiful!

Then, I told myself: Don't let this chance slip away, ask her for a picture. So I asked her and she replied with a smile and 'bien sur' (of course). I couldn't believe it! My dream was coming true. Ele & I took a picture with her and OMG it happened! Still shaking if I think about it. She was so sweet!

She took pictures with every single one of us! So kind and was smiling all the time. Then she said bye and went inside. I took some pics of her on the red carpet with Fred (the photographers asked them to hug and they did awww). Then she waved and went inside.

My dream just came true. Once she was away, we cried. I'll post some pics in a couple of minutes so you guys can see her dress as well which was absolutely beautiful.

P.S. she was wearing very high heels and was pretty tall."

Hi,
Found this picture of Shania at the gala on a German Website.  Some of the pictures they posted did not work and I wonder if she was in any of those.  No way to know unless someone fixes them.  I am disappointed in the lack of pictures.  We had lots more last year.

Shania is now free to be more affectionate to Fred in public since the divorce is final. Another weight off her back. That picture of Mutt makes him look like an escapee from the mental ward. She looks very happy and Fred is looking more and more handsome. You can't keep a good woman down!

Looks like Shania is NUTS over this guy. Hopefully her instincts are right this time around. I don't think that she is always smart about men.

True. I mean, she married Mutt only after a very short courtship. I think she falls hard and she is very emotional with her feelings. I just hope that Fred is all that she thinks he is.
