Thanks for the info! It's unclear whether Shania will be TAPING on April 28 or if that is the date her appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will AIR. Whatever the case, it won't be happening at midnight!

Now there is a May 12 calendar icon on Simon & Schuster's site but there's no appearance listed under it. Supposedly it's a Los Angeles appearance as mentioned in my previous post above.

 "Ellen" is taped so Shania must be doing that a day or two before the "Access Hollywood" thing. Although Simon & Schuster originally had Shania doing a book signing in L.A. on May 12th too which would coincide with her appearance on "Ellen." So I don't know.

TORONTO — Shania Twain is slowly getting back in the spotlight.

After her emotional appearance at the Juno Awards in Toronto last month, Twain is set to return to the city in May for a book signing.

A note on Indigo's website says Twain will appear at a downtown store to sign copies of her autobiography, "From This Moment On."

The northern Ontario sensation launches her docu-series, "Why Not? With Shania Twain," on May 13 on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie and David Foster are among the famous friends seen helping Twain overcome personal turmoil on the series.

Shania Twain to sign copies of new memoir 'From This Moment On' at Princeton Barnes & Noble May 7

Fans will have a chance to meet the country superstar, whose new tell-all explores her early days in smoky bars, her rise to fame in the 1990s and her rocky divorce from producer Mutt Lange.

Grammy-winning singing sensation and '90s superstar Shania Twain will be making an appearance at the Barnes & Noble store in Princeton's Market Fair Mall on Saturday, May 7, signing copies of her new memoir, “From This Moment On.” Named after Twain's chart-topping duet with country star Brian White, the autobiography, set to hit stores May 3, is the singer's first.

Known more recently for her unique relationship status (in January, she married Swiss businessman Frederic Thiebaud, the ex-husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud, with whom Twain's ex, Mutt Lange, had an affair), Twain has been out of the music scene for more than five years. She was up for a judge spot on the new season of “American Idol,” but the gig ultimately went to fan fave Jennifer Lopez.

Thus, “From This Moment On” arrives at the perfect time for Twain, who also has a television show, “Why Not? with Shania Twain,” debuting May 8 on OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network. The book recounts Twain's early days as a child singing in bars in Canada (when she was still known as Eileen Regina Edwards) to her meteoric rise to fame in the 1990s, when her smash album, “Come on Over,” became the best-selling of all time for a female artist, and the best-selling in county history.

Also covered in the book is Twain's tragic loss of her mother and adoptive father, who perished in a car accident in 1987, and the weathering of her much-publicize divorce from longtime husband Lange.

According to Barnes & Noble community relations manager Debra Lampert-Rudman, signing-line passes for the Twain event will be distributed beginning at 9 a.m. on May 7 at the store's Route 1cash wrap area. In order to obtain a line pass, each guests must purchase at least one copy of Twain's memoir and be able to show a recepit. Twain, Lampert-Rudman says, will be able to sign books but not CDs or memorabilia, nor will there be any posing for photographs.

Saw the Oprah promo for it this morning....Oprah asks her "You wish you would of died after hearing about the affair...." I thought that was a very bold question. We'll see what she says tomorrow.

That's how I found out. Chicago plays Oprah at 9am & Milwaukee plays at 4 pm. Looks like I may watch it twice & probably sooner than everyone else.
