The video is In Production, meaning they are still making it. So I say it will probably be released mid-late March, around the time Lionel's album comes out.

A Single for sale on Tuesday, The song being released to Itunes, A music video, I agree Tommy Shania needs new management! Who knows maybe something will be announced later today ? I don't know what's true anymore.
As I suspected, it looks like "Endless Love" will have more airplay on Adult Contemporary (soft rock) radio stations than on Country radio (if at all). I just don't see the song fitting in on Country radio.
AC radio station KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles posted the following on their Facebook page last night:
Hi Everyone! Karen Sharp Checking in. We will be playing the latest version of Lionel Richie, Shania Twain's "Endless Love". It's coming up at the top of the 8 o'clock hour. Remember you heard it here First! In the mean time, I am taking your requests and dedications now! 1 800 929-KOST!
Lionel Richie Feat. Shania Twain, ‘Endless Love’ – Song Review
By: Billy Dukes
Mercury Nashville
The first single from Lionel Richie’s upcoming album of country duets will be familiar to Shania Twain fans. ‘Endless Love’ was the song she recorded with Richie during an episode of ‘Why Not?’ on OWN. It’s a song Richie wrote and originally cut with Diana Ross, and that version was named the biggest song duet of all time by Billboard.
It’s unfair to compare this version with the original, but impossible not to. The Richie/Twain collaboration lacks the soul that the Motown singer shared with this hitmaker. It’s impossible to argue their individual passion, but together there is little chemistry. Instead of blending like peanut butter and jelly, they mix like peanut butter and mayonnaise. Both are wonderful condiments, but together they confuse the taste buds.
“My love, I’ll be a fool, for you I’m sure / You know I don’t mind / Cause you, you mean the world to me / Oh, I know I’ve found in you, my endless love,” they sing, trading lyrics while sticking close to the original lyrics.
The song builds to an impressive, although slightly exhausting, climax. A little more patience during the early moments would have allowed room to hit the peak and remain there for a few bars without showing strain. “And yes, you’ll be the only one / Cause no one can deny / This love I have its fine / I’ll give it all to you / My love, my love, my endless love,” the couple sings.
Nashville politics limit which song from ‘Tuskegee’ (in stores March 27) Richie could select as a single. More anticipated duets with singers like Blake Shelton and Darius Rucker would require two separate labels to agree, something that hasn’t happened since before Richie released this song the first time. There is clearly plenty left in both of these artists’ careers, but this pairing is a sentimental album cut at best.
Dierks Bentley, Home – After exploring traditional bluegrass on 2010’s critically acclaimed album Up on the Ridge, it seems that the 36-year-old Arizona native is ready to be back on top of the mainstream country charts. That would explain the easy appeal and Nashville-friendly arrangements of Home, out today. But we’re not saying Dierks’ new tunes are any less rich. We know from first single “Home” (video below), as well as album closer “Thinking of You,” that he’s embraced his relatively new role as a family man. The curly-headed, raspy-voiced crooner still shows a bit of wild side, too, as evidenced on opener “Am I the Only One” and the likely future single “5-1-5-0.” You’ll even hear a few traces of the bluegrass sound from the last album – the genre obviously has a permanent place in Dierks’ heart.
Various artists, The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated to Waylon Jennings, Volume II – As if a major album release isn’t enough, Dierks Bentley also pops up performing the opening song on the second tribute album for Ol’ Waylon – he does a cover of “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean.” Other highlights of the new collection honoring the late country outlaw legend: Montgomery Gentry try on the Dukes of Hazzard theme for size, Texas troubadour Pat Green sings the praises of a “Rainy Day Woman,” and rodeo sweetheart Jewel brings the goosebumps on “Dreaming My Dreams With You.” Overall, this is a much more reverent, enjoyable album than many of the slapdash tribute collections you see hitting the shelves and music sites.
Lionel Richie and Shania Twain, “Endless Love” – The silky-smooth-voiced pop legend re-imagines several of his hits as duets with today’s top country artists on the upcoming album Tuskegee, hitting stores in March. This is the first single, in which the newly confident Twain continues her return after a long vocal hiatus. Sounds pretty good, but we can’t wait for you to hear Richie’s duet with Blake Shelton on “You Are.” Shelton continues to impress with his versatility. Jason Aldean on “Say You, Say Me”? Eh, not so much.
Mark Lanegan Band, Blues Funeral –A gritty new collection from the Washington State blues-rock act.
Various artists, Hearts Across Texas – Just in time for Valentine’s, we’ve got a grouping of romantic tracks from some of Texas country’s best. Jack Ingram, Josh Abbott Band, Kevin Fowler, Chris Knight and Roger Creager all make the cut.
Ben Kweller, Go Fly a Kite – Speaking of artists in the Lone Star State, the one-time indie-rock sensation is back with his fifth solo album. Although it’s not as decidedly country as 2009’s Changing Horses, it incorporates many of Kweller’s different influences into several solid pop ditties.
The Fray, Scars and Stories – Moving and melodic are apt words to describe this popular Denver pop-rock band fronted by the drippy-voiced frontman Isaac Slade. If you like to have a good, ballad-assisted cry every now and then, check out the band’s new record.

Who needs country radio ? Country radio never supports Shania! It's youtube, itunes, the fans.... I don't care who supports it but we in Canada love Shania!
Seems like everybody's attention seems to be focused not on Shania, but on other artists. It's seems as if with Shania being gone for so long, that her fame has started to fade and other artists have taken over the spotlight in Country.

I just would hope that she doesn't sing stuff like "Today Is Your Day." If she sings something like that, then I think that will just be a pitty and sad end to an extroidinary career!

I do love Shania's recording of endless love and I can't want to see the video. It's been a long time since Shania did a music video. Country radio or not, I think Shania will do just fine.
I don't think it's going to be all like Today is Your Day. That song actually had a great melody.. it was just produced horribly. The song should have been a bouncy uptempo, not a depressing drag-a-song. Now Endless Love, I have a lot of faith in this single. It's going to do well. If it doesn't, then whatever. At least it proved to me that she can sing her butt off again. :) YAY!!!

I know the song ain't doing great at the moment on the Itunes chart, However the Music Video might Change that. Got a feeling the single will be released too Radio and the video around the same time. I might be wrong but whose with me ?
It'll be interesting to see if the song does anything on the Country and/or Adult Contemporary Billboard chart. I don't think many radio stations have added it yet. I would expect a debut on the Billboard chart within a week or two if it gets any airplay.

"Endless Love" is stuck in the mid 20s on the iTunes Country songs chart. Currently #24.
"Endless Love" falls four spots to #28. Don't worry, it's doing pretty good for no promotion. I'm sure when the video is released, and possibly a performance at the ACM's on April 1, 2012, maybe featuring Shania, we could possibly see some great results!

The promotion of this song is horrible. I wen't to walmart in Canada where I live and they do not even have the single.... Like what's up with that ? No single has been released to radio at all and seems a bit weird. I am not blaming Shania for this I mean this is Lionel's duets Album therfor he should be releasing the single. I wonder is Shania plans a album release later this year ? What are your thoughs Tommy with everything ?

Lionel Richie shoots "Endless Love" music video in The Bahamas
By The Bahamas Film Commission Feb 10, 2012 - 1:22:21 PM
Bahamas Film Commissioner, Craig Woods of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism greets Lionel Richie at the airport in Nassau
The Bahamas is known as an ideal location for film making and many movies, TV shows and music videos are shot here.
Lionel Richie was recently in The Bahamas shooting his music video for the remake of his hit, "Endless Love" featuring the vocal talents of Shania Twain. Diana Ross originally supplied the female voice to the 1981 hit.
The production company, Weapons of Mass Destruction, used locations on Nassau and Paradise Island to shoot the music video featuring both Lionel Ritchie and Shania Twain, part of those scenes took place in a beach house. The project is directed by Paul Boyd who has directed Shania Twain in the previous project, I Am Only Just Looking.

Exactly! Sounds legit to me. And look at the title of the song. It sounds like it's about after Shania's divorce and how she wasn't looking for love but it just happened with Fred. It has lead single written all over it.

Why is the song not released internationally, Many fans say they still cannot purchase the single, thats likely the problem?
Yeah, I don't understand. That's crazy! Meanwhile, "Endless Love" continues to fall. Now it's #30 on the iTunes Country songs chart and #149 on the iTunes All-Genre top songs chart.
