Shania records duet with Michael Bublé for his Christmas album

Michael Bublé Makes a Special Stop in Napa to Sing, Share About Luisana, His Wedding, and More For Beringer & Bublé

Posted July 11, 2011 10:20 am by Lauren Turner

Michael Bublé made a special appearance at Beringer Vineyards in St. Helena on Friday. He's been working with the winery, which is one of his Crazy Love tour sponsors, throughout the year and made the trip to Napa to meet with press and perform for 200 lucky fans who won the Beringer & Bublé contest. Also on hand for the event were Jason Priestley and his wife, Naomi Lowde, who enjoyed dinner and watched the show from the audience. We sat down with Michael before he hit the stage and he showed off his charming personality, shared a sample of his sexy voice, and toasted the room with a glass of Beringer Sauvignon Blanc. During the chat, Michael opened up about meeting his wife, Luisana Lopilato, their wedding in Argentina, his Christmas album, and more:

  • On being in Napa with Luisana: "She's here. I asked her if she wanted to come here and hang out with me and she didn't. She was outside tanning, and now she's at the spa having a massage and a faahh-shil (facial) as she calls it. We arrived late, late last night and had a hot tub off our balcony, which was nice; we had a little glass of wine.
  • On meeting his wife: "She went to go see me, I was in concert in Argentina. When I saw her my security was whisking me away to a room. I thought she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I was actually really crushed because I knew that I wouldn't get to meet her again. I was with my grandpa and I was really down, I'd come out of a relationship and I was feeling really destroyed over it. I was sitting there, probably drinking a little too much. The guy who runs the record company asked me if I wanted to meet Argentina's most famous actor. I said fine, and there she walked in. I didn't know what to do. She was with this guy who looked like Brad Pitt on steroids. I just thought well that's great, and thank you God. I didn't want to hit on her because they were obviously together. I sat down, and she didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Spanish, but this guy with her spoke English. I sat with him and I tried very softly to ask him questions and find out what was going on between them. By my third scotch it was like 'you're so beautiful.' I remember grabbing his arm and being like, 'God I hate you. You're such a good looking couple.' And he's like 'no, we're not a couple.' At the same time she was on the phone texting her mom saying, 'I come to meet Michael Bublé and he is so gay.' It took me a couple days to convince her I wasn't."
  • On getting married: "The best night of my life I've ever had was the wedding night in Argentina. We partied, danced, drank, yelled, and screamed until 7 in the morning. It was beautiful. I made the deal with Lu we were going to get married there so all her people could come but my people weren't there. So I had an unwedding, as some people call it, I had a party in Vancouver. But then everyone said 'look he's doing it again, he must be the most romantic . . .' I'm just like stop, I'm not. It seemed so cheesy. It really creeps me out that people thought I was getting married four times. You know nothing against Seal and Heidi Klum, but I don't know about getting married every single year. Renewing your vows every five years or something cute like that, that's fine."
  • On settling down and having kids: "My home base will be in Vancouver, and Los Angeles, and Argentina. I'll split the time between Argentina and Vancouver until we hopefully have kids. And even then until they're about 4 or 5 years old we don't really have to worry too much. But it's going to be an issue. Obviously she loves her country, she's proud of her country, that's where her friends and family are."
  • On writing songs for people: "I've never written songs for someone. I write songs that are inspired by the feelings I have at the time whether I'm in love or my heart is broken. I don't seem to write very well if I'm just normal. Now I'm content and I will probably never write a hit song again."
  • On his Christmas album: "This morning I had to work, I was recording with Shania Twain for my Christmas record. I was on Skype connected to my music producer David Foster, who was connected to Shania with her new husband and kids. I have one more date with David and then I have to go in with Bob Rock, who's another incredible producer. Then I start doing press, photoshoots, I'll start doing the music videos. Come November I'm sure they'll have me . . . I'm not sure how many countries I'll be in but I'm sure wherever they celebrate Christmas I'll be around."

Michael Buble recording Christmas album, including duet with Shania Twain

The Canadian Press
By Nick Patch
Friday Jul. 15, 2011 12:15 PM ET

TORONTO — All Michael Buble wants for Christmas is Shania Twain -- and it looks like his wish has been granted.

In a live video chat with fans this week, Buble revealed that he's been recording a Christmas album and he's already done a splashy duet with his fellow Canuck pop star.

"There's a couple duets that I really like, one with Shania Twain, which is really fantastic," Buble said in a video streamed from the historic Capitol Studios in Los Angeles.

"'White Christmas,' we did. We did it bouncy. I was inspired by 'Home Alone,' the Drifters."

The Burnaby, B.C., native said that the record would be helmed by Canadian producers David Foster and Bob Rock.

And while he hasn't finalized the track list yet, he says he's also recorded "Jingle Bells" with the U.K. swing trio the Puppini Sisters, as well as versions of "Blue Christmas," Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You" and an original track co-penned with musical director Alan Chang.

Though Buble didn't indicate when the Christmas record would be released, his enthusiasm for the project was obvious.

"I wanted to make the quintessential Christmas record," said the three-time Grammy winner. "I wanted to make a record that would outlive me, and I wanted to do for people what Bing Crosby did for me. He introduced me to the world of jazz and melody.

"And I didn't want to be hip or edgy. I just wanted to make a really sweet Christmas record that kids can grow up with."

At a different point in the chat, he was even more emphatic.

"I know this is going to sound weird but I think you guys can expect probably the best album I've made so far."

Although the 35-year-old issued a Christmas EP in 2003 called "Let it Snow," he dismissed that project now and said this was the holiday-themed record he had been waiting to make.

"I wanted to record this album from the start. The truth is, the only reason I didn't do it is because I felt like I had to establish myself more as an artist before I gave myself the opportunity to put out a Christmas record," he said.

"We did an EP years and years ago, it was six songs, but that wasn't mine. I was just a kid, and I sort of just sang on it. And even the arrangements weren't mine.... I didn't have my imprint on it except for the voice."

With that bit of business out of the way, Buble eagerly entertained wide-ranging questions from the 2,000-plus fans who tuned in to the chat.

The irreverent crooner held court on his wine of choice, whether he would ever head to Broadway (he's been offered to do a "bunch of musicals," he responded, but isn't interested in staying in one place that long) and even how he would assemble his dream dinner party, including guests living or dead.

"I would have my wife, I'd have Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield -- because I think that David could trick them into doing it with me. Magic," he said, smiling.

But the newlywed -- who married Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato in the spring -- got serious when asked about where he saw himself in five years.

"You know what, I want to have kids," said Buble, clad in a black V-neck T-shirt and suit jacket.

"I'm pretty ready in my life and I think my wife is too. You know, that would be really cool for me. I know we're talking about Christmas, so it's kind of perfect, but I can't wait for Christmas with kids.

"I can't wait for Christmas, I can't wait for Disneyland, I can't wait for all those things. I can't wait."

Shania Twain Joins Michael Buble on New Christmas Album

By: Billy Dukes

Shania Twain has returned to the recording studio, if only to finish a duet with fellow Canadian Michael Buble. During a video chat with fans last week, the pop singer revealed he’s working on a Christmas album that includes a “bouncy” version of ‘White Christmas’ with the country star.

“I wanted to make the quintessential Christmas record,” Buble said in the chat. “I wanted to make a record that would outlive me, and I wanted to do for people what Bing Crosby did for me. He introduced me to the world of jazz and melody.”

Twain shares a connection beyond a familiar homeland with the three-time Grammy winner. Producer David Foster is in charge of the project for Buble. That’s the same David Foster that helped Twain move past some of her vocal self-doub during an emotional episode of ‘Why Not? With Shania Twain’ on OWN last month. Although she’s recorded holiday music in the past, Twain has never released a Christmas album of her own.

Buble talked like the song is finished, and also revealed other tracks on the holiday project to be ‘Blue Christmas’ and ‘All I Want For Christmas is You.’ “I didn’t want to be hip or edgy. I just wanted to make a really sweet Christmas record that kids can grow up with,” he says. There’s no official release date yet, but the singer promises the album will be timely.

Shania Twain Hits Studio With Michael Bublé For Holiday Tracks

7/24/2011

(RTTNews) - Shania Twain will record a duet for Michael Bublé's Christmas album.

The two Canadians are set to collaborate on "White Christmas," with Bublé calling the track "bouncy" and saying of the album in a chat with CTV:

"I wanted to make the quintessential Christmas record. I wanted to make a record that would outlive me, and I wanted to do for people what Bing Crosby did for me. He introduced me to the world of jazz and melody."

He added of the album, which will also include the song "All I Want For Christmas Is You":

"I didn't want to be hip or edgy. I just wanted to make a really sweet Christmas record that kids can grow up with."

Twain has never released a Christmas album of her own, though she has previously recorded holiday music with others. (With who?) The album's release date is yet to be disclosed.

I guess I'll have to listen carefully when this duet comes out because I miss Shania and I won't let anyone to destroy my fun. And Please Shania don't you dare to do more than one duet as Enrique I did, you can do it on your own you have a strong fan base you know it girl.

Michael Buble Christmas Special Coming to NBC

by Phil Gallo, L.A.  |   August 01, 2011 4:20 EDT

Michael Buble will headline his first network television variety special in December on NBC to promote an upcoming holiday CD.

The one-hour special, which does not yet have an air date, will feature holiday songs and sketch comedy segments. His label, 143/Reprise, has not released any details on the holiday album.

Buble has recorded a duet on "White Christmas" with Shania Twain and a version of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" for the album. His first holiday album, the EP "Let it Snow," was released in 2003. He has said in interviews he will be more involved in the arrangements on the new album.

The Canadian crooner has had a long relationship with NBC, having first appeared on "Today" on Valentine's Day in 2003. A January 2010 appearance on "Saturday Night Live" featured a duet with Sharon Jones on and "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)" and a solo performance of "Haven't Met You Yet." His last album, "Crazy Love," which was his fifth studio effort, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart in October 2009.

Michael Buble preps Christmas album, TV special

Though the country is in the middle of a heatwave, Grammy-winning singer Michael Buble is prepping a holiday special for NBC and in the studio recording his first full-length Christmas album this year, which he’s calling his best work yet.

Buble’s as-yet-untitled holiday effort is set to hit stores later this year and is set to feature Buble covering classics like Elvis Presley’s Blue Christmas and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

“For those of you who know me, you’ll know that Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I think my mom and dad gave us lots of love at Christmas and that’s kind of what I wanted to give back to people,” Michael Buble said during a UStream.

He also recorded duets with Shania Twain, performing the traditional “White Christmas,” and the Puppini Sisters on “Jingle Bells.” He’s also co-penned an original song for the album as well.

“I know it sounds weird but I think you guys can expect the best album I’ve made so far,” Buble added during his message to fans. “I wanted to make the quintessential Christmas record. I wanted to make a record that would outlive me.”

NBC also announced that he’ll star in his first network television variety special this December, where he’ll appear in comedy sketches and perform cuts off his new album.

“Michael Buble’s popularity as a recording artist and performer transcends generations as he has entertained audiences across the world during his concert tours,” said NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt.

“His 2010 appearance on ‘SNL’ was the top-rated network telecast of the night and demonstrated that his considerable talents extend beyond singing,” Greenblatt added. “NBC is pleased to kick off the holiday season by presenting Michael’s first network television special.”

Buble released his first-ever holiday EP back in 2003 with the six-track “Let It Snow.” His new holiday set is his first album since 2009’s “Crazy Love.”

Shania records duet with Michael Bublé for his Christmas album

Have Yourself a Very Buble Christmas

Grammy Winning Canadian Star Releases 'CHRISTMAS' on October 24th

Upcoming Appearances on NBC Holiday Special, Saturday Night Live and 60 Minutes

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Buble has a special holiday gift for his naughty and nice fans this year.  On October 24th, the multi Grammy Award winning Canadian will be releasing his new album called CHRISTMAS, confirmed today by his label 143/Reprise Records.  CHRISTMAS follows the Grammy Award winning artist's previous album "Crazy Love" which sold over seven million copies worldwide and was certified multi-platinum in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.

Commented Buble, "Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year for me and my family so naturally it's been a dream of mine to make the 'ultimate' Christmas record.  Even though it was summer and 95 degrees in LA, we totally got into the spirit of the holiday.  Of course we decorated the studio with Christmas lights in the middle of July and that was a big help.  One more thing, my mother told me it's the best record I ever made."

CHRISTMAS, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, was recorded primarily at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.  The album includes guest performances by Shania Twain on "White Christmas" and The Puppini Sisters on "Jingle Bells."  Buble also put his unique take on such classics as "Silent Night," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."  In addition, a Buble original "Cold December Night" will be included on CHRISTMAS.

In conjunction with the release of CHRISTMAS, Buble will star in an NBC Holiday Special and is also scheduled to appear on 60 Minutes, the NBC Christmas Tree Lighting  (November 30th) and Saturday Night Live (December 17th).

Buble has just completed his sold out "Crazy Love" Tour which played in 80 North American cities and was seen by over one million people.

Sounds good! Although when I first heard it I said "that's not Shania!" She sounds like Betty Boop and reminds me of Madonna in "Santa Baby."

Strange, if you look at my post above, "White Christmas" was removed from the list of songs to vote for. Maybe they want people to buy the album in order to hear the entire song.

Canadian Musical Royalty Wish You A White Christmas

Damn! Canada is cornering the market on Christmas this year! First The Biebs, now Buble and Twain!

It's beginning to look sound a lot like Christmas!

Michael Buble has a holiday album coming out at the end of this month and if his soulful voice isn't enough to convince you to buy it then maybe this sneak peek at a special duet he cooked up for it might.

Check out the video to watch and listen to Michael lay down the track White Christmas with Shania Twain!

The best part about this is that they were thousands of miles away from each other when they recorded this … and it sounds amazing!!!

Shania has changed her vocal style throughout the years depending on what she sings. When she was an amateur as a child she sang in a traditional country style. When she was a teen and young adult she sang in a rock style. When she was at Deerhurst she sang in an intimate lounge and pop style. When she went to Nashville and recorded her debut album she sang in a contemporary country style and sounded like a woman of experience. When Shania began to work with Mutt Lange she sang in the pop country style that became her trademark. Singers are a lot like actors and the good ones change their style and repertoire with the times and work at hand. If that is her she has changed her vocal style once again and seems to be going for a vocal pop meets jazz and musical style, which seems to harken to her days singing musicals in Toronto interestingly enough.

Yes voting ended October 7 but if you go to the POLL "White Christmas" isn't listed any more as it was when voting was taking place. It had the second-most votes.

1. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
2. White Christmas [duet with Shania Twain]
3. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
4. I’ll Be Home For Christmas
5. Santa Baby

And only Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas of these has remained in the list.

The Shania Twain / Michael Buble Christmas Song Someone Asked For

Posted by Katherine St Asaph on 10/16/2011 at 2:23 PM News

Recording “White Christmas” without being Bing Crosby is kind of like recording “The Christmas Song” without being Nat “King” Cole: treacherous, fraught with automatic comparisons. This doesn’t stop anybody in either case. Enter Michael Buble, doing his carefree/less crooning thing to the track and previewing it for the world more than two months in advance (and yet less in advance than the Bieb. Oh, scheduling.) All we can say about his contribution is that it’s what you either love or don’t about Buble’s music; unless Buble’s withholding some serious WTF for the full track, you won’t find any drastic departures.

You might find a departure in duet partner Shania Twain’s voice, though. YouTube has apparently juuuuuuust figured out that Shania Twain’s voice doesn’t sound like the Mutt Lange-armored growl of her past albums. What they haven’t figured out is that it doesn’t sound much like her voice on “Today Is Your Day,” either. In fact, it sounds kind of like Madonna’s, quirks and sass built in. In this case, that’s a compliment. Maybe her future work will be awesome after all!

And yes, we know it’s still October. We’re sorry.

Michael Buble's 'White Christmas'

Michael Buble's been sharing some secrets behind his duet of 'White Christmas' with Shania Twain.

The pair 'teamed up' to re-work the yuletide classic for Michael's new 'Christmas' album but it wasn't a straightforward studio session.

"Shania was in Switzerland and I was at the Beringer Wine Vineyard in Napa Valley, (California)" explains Michael. "I went on my computer and connected via Skype and she connected to the studio and we dod the duet that way, talk about a virtual duet.

"I was really thrilled she wanted to do it." added the star.

Producer David Foster says Shania was in fine form, "She's back now and she sounds better than ever".

Shania Twain & Michael Buble Dreaming of a 'White Christmas'

The pair's bouncy take on 'White Christmas' will appear on Michael's 'Christmas' album, due out next week. In the teaser video below, the retro-pop master explains how he and Shania connected via Skype to record the duet. Although she was in Switzerland and he was in California, they were able to see and hear each other, and they emerged with what he deems "a fresh, new take" on the yuletide standard.

"Talk about a virtual duet," Michael says.

The track was produced by David Foster, who also worked with Shania on her recent comeback single, 'Today Is Your Day.'

"She's back now, and she sounds better than ever," David says.

Just downloaded White Christmas from iTunes! Now that's some serious singing by Shania! She sounds great! And singing with Michael Buble compliments her voice even more.

Michael Buble releases a new Christmas album, wife becomes the face of a lingerie line

Posted 10/24/2011 1:15 PM PT by Kristina Lopez

Michael Buble is a busy man. The 36-year-old jazz singer is releasing a new Christmas album and a memoir within the next two months. Buble's new Christmas album, simply titled "Christmas," is a follow up to a shorter Christmas themed album called "Let It Snow" that only had five tracks. "Christmas" is Buble's fifth studio album and contains fifteen tracks including covers of "Jingle Bells," "All I Want For Christmas Is You," "Santa Baby" and "Silent Night." Buble also does a duet with Shania Twain for a version of "White Christmas."

"It was a happy day; I love recording with her," Buble told the Toronto Sun about recording with Twain. "This entire record was the most important of probably of my life. Because I was hugely affected by Bing Crosby's White Christmas record. It introduced me to jazz music."

The album will be released on October 25. Meanwhile, Buble's memoir "Onstage Offstage" is due to hit stores and the Web on November 29. The book is heavy on photography and features Buble's writing mixed in.

"The way (my manager Bruce Allen) talked me into it was he said, 'Listen, kid, you always complain that people don't who you really are ... Why don't you go do this thing, do the photos, and you can tell you fans a little bit about what you're thinking. Who Michael Buble is. The good, the bad,'" Buble explained to the newspaper about doing the book.

He also talked briefly to the newspaper about his break up with actress Emily Blunt. Blunt and Buble dated for three years until they split in 2008. Buble then married Luisana Lopilato, and Argentine TV actress, in March. Blunt married "The Office" actor John Krasinski in 2010.

While he does not talk about his relationship in the memoir, Buble told the Toronto Sun, "One of the worst things that ever happened to me was our breakup and one of the best things that happened to me. Because I wouldn't have changed a thing if I hadn't had my heart broken."

As for Buble's wife, the Argentinian-born Lopilato was named the new face of the lingerie brand Ultimo.

"Luisana is one of our most exciting international signings yet and I'm confident she'll bring a new sense of fun and glamour to the brand as our incredible face and body," the company's CEO Michelle Mone said about the 24-year-old beauty in a statement, according to the UK's Daily Mail. "It took me a long time to get her but I refused to give up until I got her. Luisana's jaw-dropping beauty and charisma are a perfect fit for Ultimo and we can't wait to unveil our new designs."

I wonder who that other girl was on that White Christmas preview clip. David Foster goes... "She's back and sounds better than ever."... then sings a woman that is clearly not Shania. Anyway, I cannot wait to hear more from her. We've all been waiting for close to 10 years now!! :) Have a great day everyone!!

I do like the finished product. So glad it does not sound like the version from the earlier clip. I like the song. Nice to hear Shania sound like Shania again.

Shame that she will never perform this song live on t.v. or perform any song on any show.......

New Vibrations: Michael Buble

By Elizabeth Sherwood
Thursday, November 3, 2011

There is no one in the music business right now who could produce a more classic, beautiful and joyous album than can the charming, timeless Michael Bublé. Bublé's newest album of Christmas songs, surprisingly entitled Christmas, was released on Oct. 21 by Reprise Records. Although it is a bit early to listen to Christmas music, it is worth every penny and every minute.

The joy that you will inevitably feel as you listen to his album stems from a nostalgia toward old-fashioned Christmases, the kind that bring to mind warm fireplaces, roasting chestnuts and cozy sleighrides in the snow.

This is the type of Christmas where Jimmy Stewart realizes that despite his hardships, it is in fact a wonderful life. This is the type of Christmas where Judy Garland sings to her family in their parlor. This is the type of Christmas where entertainers-turned-soldiers put on shows for their comrades because they are stuck at a hotel in Vermont.

The only thing missing is the soulful, sultry voice of Bing Crosby. No worries, Michael Bublé easily fills his shoes with his soulful vibrato.

Bublé channels this era in his other albums, too, with covers of classics like "Save the Last Dance for Me," and "Sway."

Almost all of Christmas consists of covers of classic Christmas songs, with the exception of "Cold December Night," a track about wanting love for Christmas that sounds like it should be a classic; "So please just fall in love with me this Christmas,/ There's nothing else that you will need this Christmas." Gladly, Bublé, gladly.

The album's first track, "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," is smoother and slower than any other contemporary cover this reviewer has heard. Bublé's soft vibrato pulls you in, and you are willing to accept the fact that yes, it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Bublé's voice blends incredibly well with Shania Twain's on the album's only duet, "White Christmas." This version is jazzy with an appropriate number of doo wops. [*** It's not the only duet on the album]

Twain's brash country-pop voice harmonizes with Bublé's soft crooning that it is a wonder why they were never paired together before.

The cover of "Ave Maria" is sung in the original Latin. His operatic crooning is angelic, and the background choir vocals make the track only that much more majestic. Not only is it impressive that he sings in Latin, but his vocal chops are tested and they do not disappoint.

Michael Bublé branches out once more for "Mis Deseos/Feliz Navidad." Sounding like Juanes, he takes on the Spanish language like a pro. The chorus is sung sweetly in English while the versus are sung in Spanish, and the track includes authentic percussion of a Spanish Christmas song.

Even the cover of the album is happy. On the front, he is standing on a snow-covered stoop knocking at the door with a present in his hands. On the back, he is holding out the present to the lucky girl with a smile on his face.

The last track is a six-second "Shout Out" where Michael Bublé wishes his listeners a very merry Christmas. This is the perfect way to end a perfect album that will undoubtedly bring so much joy to his fans.

Though Christmas is still a few months away, the joy of Christmas is sure to get you in the holidy spirit. After all, Michael Bublé guarantees it.

"The Mix" - "Christmas Comes Early for Shania"

"SHANIA TWAIN has teamed with singer MICHAEL BUBLE for a new take on the Christmas classic 'White Christmas', as part of Michael's album Christmas, which was released Oct. 24. But the singers didn't record it the old-fashioned way, together in a studio, Shania, Michael and producer David Foster were in three separate locations. Shania recorded her portion of the lyrics via Skype from Switzerland, while producer David Foster was arranging in Los Angeles and Michael was in Napa Valley doing his part. 'Talk about a virtual duet', says Michael".

No surprise, but it doesn't look like Shania will be on Michael Buble's Christmas special which was taped a couple weeks ago. It airs Dec. 6 on NBC.

Kellie Pickler to Perform on 'A Michael Buble Christmas'Kellie Pickler will join pop singer Michael Bublé during 'A Michael Bublé Christmas,' a televised holiday special scheduled to air Dec. 6 on NBC. The singers taped the special earlier this month in New York City. It is said to include several celebrity duets, as well as sketch comedy segments.

Michael is currently promoting his new holiday album, simply titled 'Christmas,' which features a duet with another country superstar, Shania Twain. The Canadian crooners share a moment on the Irving Berlin classic, 'White Christmas,' with a "fresh, new take" on the yuletide standard.

"There's a couple duets that I really like, one with Shania Twain, which is really fantastic," says Michael, speaking on his new project, which is in stores now. "We did it bouncy. I was inspired by 'Home Alone,' the Drifters."

Tune in on Dec. 6 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC to watch 'A Michael Bublé Christmas.' Michael will also appear alongside Faith Hill at the 14th annual 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' special, set to air Nov. 30 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.

Is there already a topic about Bub/Shania duet?

I know she works hard but she doesn't have yet her half range of chords she can use to sing, that's the reason she sounds "high" and nasal on this duet ... Although taking into account this duet was recorded some months ago- the one I thought of while listening to it, was Britney wig on her good  days, hmm that's not good I got to that. Well ... I loved her parts, his- makes me to fall asleep. She's still getting her voice back I'm sure for the new Album her voice will be in a better shape- I so miss to those semi-lower tones she used to have in her voice. She made us know the most purest quality that's not my fault bleh

"White Christmas" debuts this week on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Chart at No. 28.

TWO FOR 1: Adele's original version of "Someone Like You" concurrently rises 2-1 on the Adult Contemporary chart, marking her second No. 1 on the list. "Rolling in the Deep" tallied 19 weeks at the top beginning the week of July 2.

Adele is the first woman to notch two AC No. 1s in a year since Taylor Swift sent "Love Song" and "You Belong With Me" to the summit in 2009.

Previously, no women had doubled up atop AC in the same year since 1998, when Shania Twain reigned with "You're Still the One" and "From This Moment On" and Celine Dion propelled three songs to No. 1: "My Heart Will Go On," "To Love You More" and "I'm Your Angel," with R. Kelly. (Twain, meanwhile, this week makes her first AC appearance since 2005, as Michael Buble's "White Christmas," on which she guests, debuts at No. 28. Her last AC hit was "Don't!" which peaked at No. 18 back in May 2005).
