I wanted to let you know that there WILL NOT be a fan convention this summer. That being said, there will be many events taking place in Timmins during the first two weeks in August that will be great to take in.
There are a few reasons for the cancellation. We feel that with the Las Vegas show beginning this year, many fans will not be able to attend both, and therefore our numbers will be very low.
The other reason is that I will not be available to plan the event this year as my final day of employment with the City of Timmins will be May 30, 2012. I'm moving on to a very exciting new job, and I know we will see each other........I'll keep you posted.
