I think it's either a Las Vegas contract extension, the launch of her re-designed website, or a new single with Paula Fernandes (the Brazilian singer Shania said she was working with last month).

There is so much speculation. It could be pretty much anything. A new album would be ideal but I am not getting my hopes up on that. Whatever it is it will be exciting. :) I'm so excited!

Are You Ready for a ‘HUGE’ Announcement From Shania Twain? [POLL]
By Waylon Jordan | January 15, 2014
Shania Twain says she will make a “HUGE” announcement tomorrow. What could it be? Could it be something to do with an upcoming album? Perhaps she will extend her stay at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Does she have a bun in the oven? What could it be? The only information Shania will divulge at this time comes from her Facebook page.
"So excited to share some HUGE news tomorrow!!” – Shania Twain
What will Shania's "HUGE" news involve?
- New tour! - New album! - More gigs in Vegas. - She's having Waylon Jordan's love child. - Knocked up. - New movie. - New television show. - A new line of perfume or something lame like that.
Shania gave a "preview" of her website which will be updated. My guess is that the news will JUST be a Vegas extension. Which is not HUGE news, in my opinion. Working with Bob Rock, or Glen Ballard would be Amazing and Huge news!

I agree. A Vegas contract extension or some kind of project (probably a duet) with Brazilian singer Paula Fernandes. No big deal.
Although, if it is a Vegas extension, we usually hear that kind of news first from Robin Leach on VegasDeluxe.com. So that makes me wonder.

I also think it'll be about a Vegas extension. Even though she said that during the Christimas holidays she would've seriously concentrate on finding a new producer. But she talked about a new album for the last 10 something years now, and here we are... no new music in sight.
And we won't have a new album if the HUGE news is about a Vegas extension. I guess only time will tell.

Hi,
Shania can multi-task so I do believe even if there is a Vegas extension that she can work on a new album because she has it written and what she needs is a producer and to record.
I want to believe that we can have the best of both worlds. I think the fact that she is revamping her website is a good sign. I think she is finally at a good place and getting into a routine of semi normalcy for her career. I think she has rediscovered that she does love music and performing it for others. I think she has finally realized that this is what makes her tick so to speak. No more taking long breaks and leaving fans hanging hopefully.
I saw it too. I have no idea what this Calgary stampede thing is, but I guess it's something big, otherwise she wouldn't call this a HUGE announcement right? Honestly, I was hoping for something like a new song, album or just news that has something to do with new music. This is also good news, but only for the fans in the area, again...

The Calgary Stampede is a very huge event every year here in Canada. I live on the east coast of Canada- I've never been to the Stampede but we hear lots about it ever year. I wish I was able to go :(
***The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The ten-day event, which bills itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth", attracts over one million visitors per year and features one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.

She's performing! I must say eventhough I am American and will not be able to go, I am so proud of this move. I am happy for all those that do get to go and even though she is great in Vegas, I'm glad she has decided to perform other places too! Maybe this means she will introduce new music?!!!?!
Shania Twain’s only Canadian show this year will be in Calgary this summer.
Twain will perform on July 9 during the Calgary Stampede as part of the Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series.
“The opportunity to have Canadian icon Shania Twain perform at the Calgary Stampede is incredible,” says Adam Oppenheim, managing director, Stampede Concerts Inc. “She is beloved by so many and we couldn’t be happier that Stampede fans and visitors will be able to see her first concert outside of Vegas in more than 10 years.”
Tickets for what should be a sold out show will go on sale to the public Friday, January 24th at 10 a.m. Mountain Standard Time and will start at $79 (plus applicable fees). Tickets will be available at all TicketMaster outlets, via phone at 1-855-985-5000 and at ticketmaster.ca.
Virgin Mobile members will get exclusive priority access to tickets for the show. Details of that presale, which runs from Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. until Jan. 23 at 10 p.m., are available at virginmobile.ca/benefits/
Calgary Stampede Insiders also have an opportunity to pre-purchase tickets from Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. until Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10 p.m.
Well, finally she made up her mind to go out on the road to perform again. Outside Vegas. I hope she'll take the chance to introduce new music as well but I'm pretty sure her setlist will be the Vegas one. But I'm glad anyway. I guess the tickets will be sold out pretty soon now.
So her Vegas contract let her perform outside Vegas, like Celine does.

The article above is saying it's part of a concert series. So if you go by that it sounds like an entire concert. It might not be as long as her 90-minute show in Vegas though.

Shania Twain will make her first Canadian concert appearance in more than a decade at the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta, on July 9. The performance at the Scotiabank Saddledome will be her only Canadian concert in 2014.
With the exception of her Las Vegas residency, the show also marks her first full concert in about 10 years.
Tickets begin at $79 and go on sale to the general public on Jan. 24. Virgin Mobile members and Calgary Stampede Insiders will have pre-sale opportunities. This is the first concert to be announced for the 2014 Calgary Stampede, which will take place July 4-13.
Twain has been performing regularly at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas since December 2012. Her appearances resume there on Wednesday (Jan. 22).
Giddyup, Shania Twain fans: The singer is headed back to Canada to perform at the Calgary Stampede on July 9.
In a video that she Tweeted Thursday morning, Twain broke the news about the concert from a snowy mountaintop in Switzerland.
"I'm coming home sweet home soon!" she announced. "I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the Calgary Stampede."
Tickets go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m..
It's been some time since the Ontario-born star, 48, has performed in such a venue, according to the Calgary Herald.
"She is beloved by so many," Adam Oppenheim, managing director of Stampede Concerts Inc., told the paper, "and we couldn't be happier that the Stampede fans and visitors will be able to see her first concert outside of Vegas in more than 10 years."

With the announcement of locking down country-pop star Shania Twain’s one and only Canadian show in 2014, Calgary Stampede is aiming high with its concert series this year.
And she’s just the first name announced for the 2014 Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series, at that.
Twain, who broke into the bigtime in the mid-1990s with her second album, The Woman in Me, and chased it with a pair of successful follow-ups, will take a brief vacation from her most recent endeavour of performing in Las Vegas and head north to Cowtown for a July 9 show at the Saddledome.
“I’m coming home soon and looking really forward to seeing you all at the Calgary Stampede ... see you then,” Twain said in a video message released by the Stampede.
Adam Oppenheim, Stampede Concerts’ managing director, called having Twain at Stampede an incredible opportunity.
“She is beloved by so many and we couldn’t be happier that Stampede fans and visitors will be able to see her first concert outside of Vegas in more than 10 years,” he said.
Tickets, which go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 24 through Ticketmaster, will set you back $79.
If you happen to be a Virgin Mobile member, you’ll have an early crack at tickets on Jan. 21 starting at 10 a.m., and Stampede Insiders members will have their early-bird opportunity Jan. 22 starting at 10 a.m
Corralling Shania Twain a big ‘get’ for Calgary Stampede
By Mike Bell, Calgary Herald | January 17, 2014
Consider it a “get” of Garth Brooksian proportions.
In heels.
On Thursday, the Calgary Stampede announced it had booked Canadian country superstar Shania Twain for its upcoming event. The Timmins, Ont., native will play the Saddledome July 9 during the 10-day party, with tickets for the show ranging from $89.25 to $149.25 (plus service charges), and going on sale to the general public beginning Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. from ticketmaster.ca, in person at Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 1-855-985-5000.
“The opportunity to have Canadian icon Shania Twain perform at the Calgary Stampede is incredible,” Adam Oppenheim, managing director of Stampede Concerts Inc., said of the first artist booked for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, which runs July 4-13 this year.
“She is beloved by so many and we couldn’t be happier that Stampede fans and visitors will be able to see her first concert outside of Vegas in more than 10 years.”
The parallels to the booking of Brooks two years ago for the Stampede’s centennial celebration are striking. Both acts were from the same era, enjoying their popularity during the new country movement of the ’90s. Also, both are at the top of the list when it comes to sales, awards and popularity for contemporary country acts, with each being among the bestselling country artists of their respective gender (150 million for Brooks and 80 million for his Canuckian counterpart) and Twain’s 1997 album Come On Over being the bestselling studio album by a female of any type of artist with almost 40 million sold.
Also. when tapped for a Stampede show, both artists were all but retired from touring and recording, with Las Vegas residencies the only way for fans to catch them live. In the case of Twain, her fourth and last studio record was 2002’s 20-million selling Up! — another record has been in the works and rumoured for the past three years — and her show Shania: Still the One has been playing Caesars Palace since December of 2012.
And, finally, perhaps the most important parallel: because of all of these reasons, the Twain ticket will be one of the most in-demand and hard-to-get ducats in North America. When Brooks’ tickets went up for grabs, they sold out in seconds, with many winding up on websites and at unbelievably inflated prices moments after, some even claimed before. That was due, in large part to pre-sales being offered to a number of different groups as well as Flames President Club ticket-holders who were given first dibs.
There was anger, there was indignation, there were threats and there was, of course, a certain segment of the population willing to take advantage of that by selling counterfeit tickets online to the desperate and, well, naive.
Expect the same thing with Twain, seeing as how the number of pre-sale options is similar, with Virgin Mobile members getting a crack beginning Jan. 21, and radio sponsors and Stampede Insiders following suit the next day.
All of this means, of course, that just like the Stampede booking Twain, if you manage to find yourself one of the lucky 15,000 or so holding a valid ticket to get into the Dome on July 9, you can consider it a pretty incredible get.
I'm overwhelmed by the support of my fans! My Calgary Stampede show has sold out and I’ve decided to add a second show on July 10! Tickets are available at 10:30 MST: Direct Link:http://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/11004C29CCC7F7EB
Impressive how fast she sold out her first show. Great support by canadian fans. I wonder if all this support will lead her to make up her mind and go out on tour again. Maybe just in Canada first and then in the US too. Like Celine is doing even if she's still in Vegas. Shania's Vegas residency legs are not very long, 10-15 shows tops, so it leaves plenty of room for tour dates outside Vegas. But I also think that her main thought now should be this too-long-awaited album.
Hurry: A second Shania Twain concert has been added for this year's Stampede
Country star adds second Stampede show after first concert sells out in minutes
Calgary Herald | January 24, 2014 11:00 AM
A second Shania Twain concert has been added for this summer’s Calgary Stampede, after the first show sold out in minutes.
A second show will take place July 10 at the Scotiabank Saddledome, and tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.
It is the only concerts for Twain in Canada planned for 2014, and it is a rare live performance for her outside of Las Vegas. The country music star one of the biggest selling acts of all time.

Shania Twain tickets snapped up in minutes, despite second show being added
By Tamara Elliott, Global News | January 24, 2014
CALGARY- One of her many hit songs is called ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’—and many Shania Twain fans were also left unimpressed after tickets for her Calgary show were snapped up in minutes.
The Canadian country superstar is set to play at the Saddledome on July 9, and tickets for the show went on sale earlier this week to those with pre-sale codes. When Ticketmaster opened up the sale to everyone on Friday at 10 a.m., tickets were snapped up in just minutes.
As a result, a second show was added for July 10 and those tickets went on sale to the public at 10:30 a.m. However, those also sold out in about half an hour—despite a hefty price tag of $163 and up per ticket.
“We knew demand would be strong, but even we have been awed by the volume of Shania Twain fans eager to see her at the Stampede,” said managing director of Stampede Concerts Adam Oppenheim. “It was a tremendous coup that Shania chose the Stampede as her first Canadian concert in a decade.”
Soon after the Ticketmaster offerings were sold out, tickets popped up on sites like EBay and StubHub, starting at $220 per seat.
Second Shania Twain show sells out at Calgary Stampede
July 9 Saddledome show sells out within minutes
Calgary Sun | Friday, January 24, 2014 12:02 PM MST
This might impress her much.
Shania Twain's July 9 show at the Calgary Stampede sold out in minutes, prompting officials to announce a second date.
That second show, July 10, also sold out within little more than 30 minutes.
“We knew demand would be strong, but even we have been awed by the volume of Shania Twain fans eager to see her at the Stampede,” says Adam Oppenheim, managing director, Stampede Concerts Inc.
“It was a tremendous coup that Shania chose the Stampede as her first Canadian concert in a decade. We’re thrilled that we were able to offer a second concert, making twice as many fans very happy.
“We’re looking forward to announcing more stellar concert offerings to everyone soon."
The July dates are Shania's Twain's only shows outside her Las Vegas residency.
Thank you, Thank you! Extremely humbled that BOTH shows sold out at the Calgary Stampede! I can’t wait to get back to Canada and see you all this summer! #calgarystampede
See Shania Twain in Concert at the Stampede on July 9, 2014 and attend an exclusive After-Party with Shania and her band!
With proceeds from this event going to Shania Kids Can!
Shania is performing two sold out concerts during the Calgary Stampede on July 9, and 10, 2014. Shania Kids Can has 20 great seats for the show on July 9th and will be hosting an After Party with Shania and her band and you can be one of the 20 guests that will attend! Proceeds from this amazing event will go to Shania’s Foundation “Shania Kids Can” which is establishing a Shania Kids Can Clubhouse Program in Calgary that will benefit Elementary School Age Children. You can learn more about this excellent program by visiting the website at www.shaniakidscan.com.
I think this is a bit silly. I mean, some people have bought their tickets already, and now they have these tickets? So if I bought my ticket already, but I want to go to the after party too, I paid for a regular ticket I won't use?
But anyway, I think this is a great idea! A small group of people :) . I wonder if it's the same kind of after party we had in December 2012 after the opening show of her Vegas shows. I don't think so, since those tickets were only $150.
But we'll see. The prices are so outrageous, I wonder how many they will sell on such a short notice.

ya thats is true. The Calgary Stampede has lots of client tale and people want to have a event for there clients. Calgary Stampede is on of the best times do it. So a law firm for example. Can go a invest and say hey lets celebrate the stampeded and donate to a great cause. It's a promotor. unless you a client that is investing in the after party why not. UNless you're a millionaire that price is pretty pricey. So it more companies then fans.

That makes sense, since companies are also more able to help the kids can. I was looking for the options to support a child, but that costs 5000 dollars a year, and that is too much for me. I can afford it with my current salary, but in September, I will start my veterinary master, and I will have internships, so I won't be able to work as much anymore, and I would not be able to spend 5000 dollars a year anymore. A shame, since I'd love to help. I am looking for an option to just make a regular donation now. But a company could probably support a child for 5000 dollars a year, no problem.
