Say Hello! to Canada's 50 Most Beautiful stars!

The cover star of our annual issue celebrating homegrown talent is heartthrob Ryan Reynolds, who made a dazzling appearance at the Cannes premiere of The Captive alongside his beautiful wife, Blake Lively, last week.

Ryan’s screen-idol looks and sublime style are just two of many reasons why he opens our list in 2014. The self-deprecating Vancouver native is the full package: He’s as unpretentious and charming as he is handsome, happiest to spend his free time with family or giving back to those who need it. (Ryan is on the board of directors of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.)

This year, he’s also experiencing a career renaissance, with five movies in the pipeline, including The Woman in Cold starring another "most beautiful" actress, Tatiana Maslany.
