According to 1iota (free tickets to shows), Shania is scheduled to be a guest on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 18. "The Late Late Show With James Corden" airs at 12:35am ET/11:35pm CT on CBS.

***Music group Bastille is also on the show. So it sounds like they will be the "musical guest" performer and Shania will possibly pre-record a Carpool Karaoke segment with James. If that's the case, Shania won't be singing her new single on the show. This appearance might be just to promote her Stagecoach music festival concert on April 29.

I'm not going to get excited by it. The same thing is going to happen like the ACM awards. People are going to be speculating whether or not she will debut the new single and perform it. Fans are sick of being strung along by the idea of a new single. I will believe it when I see it at this point. I don't expect anything at all becuause, unfortunately, she has let many fans down with promises and broken promises.

Yeah but it had already been released.

Seems to be a little late to promote the stagecoach concert no? A single release seems possible before or just after. Maybe there are multiple interviews coming. Regardless I'll enjoy if she does karaoke.

"The Late Late Show" is airing repeats this week. If Shania and James are in fact doing a Carpool Karaoke segment they'll probably record it one day this week. The show usually starts promoting Carpool Karaoke segments online a few days before they air.

Here's another thing. Most artists who do Carpool Karaoke are not on the actual show for an interview. They just record the Carpool Karaoke segment and that's it. We'll have to wait and see.

Still no mention from Shania about appearing on the show but it looks like she won't be doing Carpool Karaoke. The show would be promoting it by now. So apparently she will be interviewed. She will have to make some kind of announcement regarding the single and album. RIGHT???

They changed the show taping time to 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET.

She better say something specific. With her message of "Looking forward to talking new music"....I really hope that does not consist of her just sitting there and saying "Yes, I have new music coming out soon". She's going to have a lot of angry fans if she pulls that crap once again. She made the announcement that a single was coming in March. Fans are already annoyed.

"The Late Late Show" - UPDATE!

As previously announced, Shania will be a guest on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" in Los Angeles tonight. "The Late Late Show With James Corden" airs at 12:35am ET/11:35pm CT on CBS. Music group Bastille was also originally scheduled to appear and perform on the show. However, this morning The Late Late Show's website has moved Bastille to tomorrow's show. What does this mean? Is it just a scheduling conflict? Or is Shania going to perform afterall? If not a song, maybe she and James will have some type of "sing off" competition. The show will be taped at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET so I'm sure people in the audience will be tweeting about what happened on the show before it airs at 12:35am ET.

As much as I'd love her to perform the new single, I think it would be a very bad choice to introduce it during a late night show. The tv audience is not as large as the prime time one.
Anyway let's hope she will give us something specific. In few hours we will know...

That was rough to watch. Not because of her but the format of the show, it was rushed, James jumped from person to person. Poor girl.

A fan who was at the taping of the show said Shania did mention the new songs she would be performing at Stagecoach: "Swinging With My Eyes Closed" and "Life's About To Get Good". She also explained what they were about. That part got edited out of the broadcast. Shania didn't mention the album.

Another thing that I felt set a bad vibe for the show was when Whitney? Is that her name? Kind of trashed the Coachella Festival and said it was for younger people and she had better things to do as a woman in her 30's. I know Shania is performing there but it still seemed like Shania had to defend herself and her performance.

Shania did exactly what I feared she would do. Nothing about the new music or album. Now its coming in the fall. Such a disappointment. This album will not be a success if she does absolutely nothing to promote it and keeps delaying it longer and longer. Again, such a disappointment.

Fans Upset After Shania Twain Doesn’t Announce New Music on ‘Late Late Show’

Shania Twain fans didn’t quite get what they were hoping for out of her appearance on the Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday night (April 18). After tweeting that she’d be talking to Corden about new music, Twain did not announce any news about her forthcoming single or album.

Twain has been teasing a new album for years, but recently her vague pronouncements have gotten more specific. In February she told Rolling Stone that she planned to release a new single in March, followed by an entire album in May. No single has yet materialized, and a rumored surprise appearance at the 2017 ACM Awards didn’t happen, either.

Disappointed fans turned to Twitter to vent about Twain not talking about new music, expressing their frustration with the long, drawn-out process of her album. But in an interview with the Orange County Register in Santa Ana, near Indio, Calif., where she will take the stage for the Stagecoach Festival on April 29, Twain revealed that the timetable for the album has been pushed back to fall.

Twain names “Life’s About to Get Good,” “Light of My Life” and “I’m Alright” as song titles from the upcoming project, and she intends to debut new music from the album for the crowd at the festival.

She also hints that she might not be done with touring, though she billed her 2015 Rock This Country Tour as her last.

“I really loved being on tour and had the best time and it kind of ended too soon,” Twain says, adding that she didn’t get to book international dates because she was touring around her son’s school schedule. “I think as he gets older I will pick up where I left off and carry on and do more at some point,” she says.

“I felt like at that time maybe that was all I had left in me … I really felt that way, but I was so energized by the tour and by the fans. For the first time in my career, I really felt like it was easier and the fans really gave me more than ever before for some reason.”

Good. I'm glad that someone has caught on to the fact that her fans are frustrated. It is common knowledge at this point that she is literally just teasing fans with the new music and making false promises. If you don't intend to release the album or single then fine. But don't make false promises to your fans and then break them all the time.

Well you guys are not really surprised , are you? lol Shania never keeps her word. On a side note, that blonde hair does not look good on her at all, she looks older. But if it makes her feel good about herself then that is what counts. Just from my opinion i thinks she looks much prettier and younger and real in her oringal color. I have no idea who told her that looks good lol lol anyway it is her choice so i hope it makes her feel good.
