Shania Twain is set to “Rock This Country” once again!
After travelling Canada and the U.S. in 2015 for what was billed as a farewell tour, the country-pop icon tells ET Canada’s Roz Weston she’s had a change of heart and will indeed hit the road in support of her upcoming album “Now”.
After years of suffering from Lyme Disease, which jeopardized her vocal ability, Twain explains that “all along the way, it’s all been a confidence-building exercise because of the voice.” Beginning in 2012, the singer performed a two-year “Still The One” residency show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, noting, “There was no touring involved, so that was more manageable for me in dealing with my voice.”
“I got through that really well, so I said, ‘Well, let me see if I can take this on the road,'” Twain recalls.
The result was her “Rock This Country” tour, and although the 72-date trek was highly successful, Twain says, “I really thought that that would be the only time that I would be able to do that.”
“It takes me an hour and a half just to warm up for a show, so it’s exhausting,” she admits. “So I thought, ‘Gee, if I add travel onto that, I’m not sure… I’m gonna do it this once.'”
But the 51-year-old says she just can’t resist hitting the road performing from her new album, “Now”, available Sept. 29, for her fans.
“Now that I’ve got new music, I’m really motivated to do that music live,” she says.

Can Canadian fans share the video somehow? Hola won't help either.
Here is a recap of the show that someone posted on a Facebook group page. It sounds like most of it we've already seen in the clips I've posted on the link below:
So the first half is basically same-old information; nothing that new, really. She talks about Prince reaching out to her for the new album and how she wasn't ready at the time; She's learned to love the songs she wrote with Mutt, even the ones that used to make her uncomfortable to perform after the divorce and everything; "NOW" is about accepting and coming to terms with emotions, even the tough ones; a lot of the new record is "self-help" because "what gives the difficult times so much more importance and meaning is by sharing it"; she wants the album to inspire people; talks a bit about her vocal issues in the past and how they impacted her.
Then, they start talking about Eja! You guys, it seems like Eja is following in the footsteps of his father. :) He enjoys arranging and composing music and he actually spends the summer travelling to record studios and watching football games with his father. He is also really supportive and appreciate of Shania. She plans everything around his schedule, around his life.
Bucket list: She wants to act. She'd love to do some cooking books, she'd love to write more books. "Period". And, yes, she confirmed that she's touring for "NOW".
Fun facts: She has Shawn Mendes' number on her phone and Taylor Swift's. She once had "cheese, crackers, and wine" at Taylor's house where they had a heart-to-heart. She's a big Chris Stapleton fan. Her biggest vice is french fries and dill pickle chips LOL
