There's no mention about a performance, so I don't think she'll sing something.

FYI. Shania said she'll only be performing at Hyde Park for 30 minutes. Wow!

Shania will be a guest/perform at the 'Deutscher Radiopreis' (German Radio Awards) tomorrow September 7 in Hamburg, Germany. The red carpet livestream starts live at 6:30pm on the website. 60 major German radio station will broadcast the award ceremony live on the radio. Finally the TV special airs at 10:00pm on NDR.

Not sure yet. She might be a suprise at the end, but she didn't attend the red carpet event and the show is nearly finished.

I just streamed the "Markus Lanz" show. Shania spoke mainly about her vocal issues, Lyme disease and so on and she told a story about her sister reminding her the other day when as children they used to take little insects off the meat they had in their freezer. And looking back at her childhood, the poverty and her parents' death, the divorce from Mutt seems a little thing and that she's lucky to be here now.
She has spoken very much and both the host and the public seemed very interested in what she said. Then, they showed a clip of the video for LATGG (the last chorus part).

"The Markus Lanz Show" is now available online. Shania's interview begins at the 58-minute mark. It's translated into German but you can still hear Shania talking in English. But it's difficult to follow what she's saying with the translator talking over her.

Shania Twain: Having horses on stage gave me confidence for new music

Singer Shania Twain has told how bringing white horses on stage with her gave her the confidence to make her musical comeback.

The Canadian singer recently released her first album in 15 years, Shania Now, following a vicious bout of Lyme disease that caused her to lose her voice.

Before deciding to return to the studio, she performed regularly as part of a residency in Las Vegas where she discovered her ultimate therapy.

The 52-year-old told BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans on Friday: “I had a horse up on stage with me… two horses.

“I do this liberty work with the horse… I do You’re Still The One with it, and it’s like this psychological distraction.

“This whole process of the number and not focusing on my voice really helped.”

Her comments came during a bumper edition of the breakfast show, where she was joined by guest singers Sam Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, and actor Eddie Izzard.

Speaking hours after the release of his new track Too Good At Goodbyes, Oscar-winning Smith, 25, shared his tips for making music again after a two-year break.

Commenting on keeping his voice in top health, he said: “It’s good, it’s the best it’s ever felt.

“I’m not drinking stuff at the moment and not having dinner really, which is super boring… I miss cheese.”

He added of the new song: “It’s the first single from my second album, it’s about a relationship I was in last year.

“It’s one of only three or four songs on the record that are actually about me.”

Evans received nervous laughs from the musicians in the studio when he suggested that people mentioned in songs should receive royalties.

Rag ‘n’ Bone man, real name Rory Graham, joked: “Don’t say that man, I owe some people money now.”

While comedian and actor Izzard also joined in with jokes, he talked of his delight at having been cast alongside Dame Judi Dench in Stephen Frears’ latest big-screen work, Victoria & Abdul.

Remembering his early days as a street performer, the 55-year-old said: “It’s wonderful, it’s just off the hook.

“When I was seven I wanted to be an actor, and to be toe-to-toe with Judi Dench in a Stephen Frears film with all these great actors – including Tim Pigott-Smith who has unfortunately passed away since we filmed it – is just wonderful.”

I think because it takes her an hour and a half to warm up her voice, I can’t see her doing that for tv performances when she only sings one or two songs so I think that’s why she’s lip syncing. Maybe with Hyde Park, she might warm up her voice since it’s a longer set (I think she said she has 30 minutes) but I don’t see her warming up her voice until she is on tour. I think the lip syncing is just the television performances.

For the first time I agree with you.

And by the way, am I right about Today Show in June? She sang two of her older songs live and she used backing track for the new two. It has nothing to do with warming up I guess.

I agree! I've notice the lip syncing with her Up! promo not that long ago... back then I was young and naive and didn't notice it (I was in middle school). But correct me if I'm wrong, there were still plenty live vocals here tonight along with a backtrack during the chorus and a completely lip syncing in the middle part (It took me so long, to be strong...). But to me what is even more distracting is her band. I don't think they're live at all. But people are over reacting to this performance. Overall, I still enjoyed it!
