Remember, the 2018 JUNO Awards are tomorrow night (March 25) at 5:00pm PT/8:00pm ET from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Shania is nominated for Album of the Year (NOW) and Artist of the Year. The awards show will broadcast live across Canada on CBC-TV and CBC Radio and around the world on www.CBCMusic.ca.
Shania will not be in attendance. They would have announced if she was going to be there. If anything as a presenter.

She misses every opportunity to remind people of herself and her new album.
She won't be at the ACM Awards on April 15 either. But then again, she wasn't nominated for any awards.
Tonight I could see her winning Artist Of The Year because of her comeback after 15 years. But I can't see her winning Album Of The Year. Michael Bublé should win.

If she is not nominated and doesn't attend it's OK, but she's nominated for two Junos and misses the ceremony. I don't understand why she escapes such public appearances. When she had no new music she came to awards shows more often.
NOW was the most successful album by any female artist on the canadian billboard year end chart. sales-wise, she's on par with two nominees and outselling others. not that sales indicate quality or guarantee accolades; but i reject the notion that she "flopped" in canada.

If Shania wins Artist Of The Year, I wonder if the presenter will say "Shania didn't want to be here tonight so I will accept the award on her behalf."

I think Shania is very much focus in preparing for her tour rather than attending to award shows. That's her priority for now.
I don't think that's the reason at all. She didn't even attend the CMA Awards back in November which were 4 1/2 weeks after she released NOW. Talk about crazy. You release your first album in 15 years and you don't attend or perform at the CMAs?!?!

I don't think this is all Shania's fault. I think she NEEDS to change her team as soon as the NOW Tour will come to an end if she wants to save her career and if she doesn't want to throw away all she worked for since 1993. Her team is utterly incompetent and the "NOW" era is the living and recent proof of this. Almost no promotion at all from October on, bad singles choices, they have messed up with "Swingin'" (releasing at the end of the summer a song that begins with "Summer's here"... come on!!!!).
Here in Europe things haven't been better. YouTube is filled with videos of the "Up!" era promotion... for "NOW" she did very little. I say this again, the Tour is selling very well here in Europe just because she hasn't been here in more than 14 years, not because people knows she has new music out.
To me, the more I listen to NOW, the more I realize what a great album is, darker, sadder, deeper than her previous works, of course, but people change and so has she, having lived all that she has been through. Thanks to the people she works with (people she PAYS!!!), these songs will remain unheard by many people, and that's sad.
