35 million in the U.S.? I don't understand this. It's always been 48 million in the U.S.. Billboard posted 35 million today too.

It is 35 million which Soundscan counts every individual sale as in pure sales. The 48 million is in shipped units that the RIAA counts. But Shania sold lots in music club sales too in the 90's which Soundscan doesn't count.
