NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- WHAT: The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women® is hosting the iconic annual Red Dress Collection® fashion show on Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT/5 p.m. PT at the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The Red Dress Collection brings together dozens of stars and pop culture icons who hit the catwalk shining a light on heart disease in women. The beauty of this event truly lies in the message of empowerment they bring to fighting women's No. 1 health threat – heart disease. The event, founded by The Heart Truth® program at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health, serves as Go Red for Women's national marquee event aimed at increasing awareness of heart disease in women, and uniting women as a relentless force to end heart disease and stroke globally.

As much as I love Shania, I wish she would bring new music! I’m tired of the same ole stuff LOL. She seems to be very active these days, considering her residency. When she first did her Vegas stunt, she never would’ve performed outside of there. She’s also going to be on "The View" this Friday! Hopefully we can hear about new music!

Shania had new music in 2017 but she had no hits. Everyone except for her fans are interested in her old-time music because she hasn't released anything as influential since then. I think she might release some more albums but unless there are any hits, no one will care and she'll go on singing old stuff at such events.

I agree. Unless new music results in hits, there's nothing else she can do except perform her 20-year-old songs.

In some interview before the new residency she mentioned that she's working on new music but she can't tell when it may be released. She also said that the residency set list might change for the second year. But Shania's words mean nothing really. I mean, even if they asked her in every interview, didn't you get used to her promises in 2005, 2007, then at the end of her first residency and after that and during and after Rock This Country tour that her saying anything about new music doesn't promise the soon release of any. It kind of irritates me how she says "I've written a song for him and for her and etc." Many artists don't say anything about their plans and what they're working on at the immediate time, but they just come out with new music and surprise their audience. Shania loves to talk a lot instead of just do. It seems to me now that she's just having the time of her life and doesn't even take her words seriously and doesn't really understand that her fans DO TAKE them seriously and DO WAIT for her new music. I think she acts shallow in that sense. And some days ago I was re-reading her book and it made me think of how things have changed. During TWIM and CCO era she didn't talk much but did a lot, was profeccional and passionate. Now she says she's having fun. It's good for her and it's her prerogative. I'm happy if she's happy. But I don't expect anything from her. If she ever surprises me with anything, I'll be thrilled. But I don't expect that happen. I respect her for what she has done. My message here is mostly: do you really need to hear her talk about new music? Does it make any difference? Does it make her albums/songs to come out sooner?
