There's one thing I still don't understand after so many years: she keeps on saying that her voice is stronger now, she can reach higher notes than before and so on... so why does she use backing tracks in her shows and everytime she has to sing "live"?

RE: Shania on "Loose Women" (UK) - August 17

I think that is because her voice varies day to day. I’ve noticed her voice has really changed since she recorded “Today is Your Day,” and “Endless Love.” I couldn’t tell her voice was any different than before On those singles. Her voice then was still like it was before, I think.  But her new voice, most recent on NOW and recordings with collaborations, her voice sounds really robotic in places, and seems to use a lot of auto tune. Her stamina and pitch, almost like when your hoarse, seems to be there a lot in her phrasing and even Notice her annunciation of words is hard to understand sometimes. I wonder if that has anything to do with her addition to speaking more French. Shania can sing, but I think without her knowing how it will be on day to day, she plays it Safe.

I think singing day by day during a tour would cause a lot of strain on the vocal chords. She may be nervous to go through what she did again 🤷🏻‍♀️
