Well it's May 1 and still nothing about new music. Wondering when the first single will be released. Any thoughts? Perhaps a July or August single release?

Valerie is a coordinate in Shania's tour management and interacts with fans on social media. Is her retweet from a fan regarding the CMT Music Awards on June 9 a hint that Shania is attending and performing new music? I'm sure Shania will be performing the lead single on TV and June 9 makes sense date wise. I mean it will be the end of Spring. So if in fact Shania is performing the lead single at the CMT Music Awards it will probably be released May 28 or June 4.

Let's have some guessing game going on here :) When will Shania release her first single ? Just a guessing game here lol. I'll say July maybe August

It looks like Shania has in fact been writing with songwriters Stacy Barthe and Denise Rich. I wonder if it's for Shania's new album or her "Heart Of Texas" TV series. And if it is for the album and she's still writing, it's not going to be released for a WHILE!

The videos/pics must be fairly current. Especially being posted on Instagram Stories. 

Twain is forever imagining new music, and also how to deliver her passion to a live audience. She is the creative director of her stage show. Working toward her return has lifted her spirits throughout the pandemic.

“I’m really focusing on uplifting, inspiring music because I’ve needed that spirit myself over this whole thing,” Twain said. “I’ve been just writing a lot of stuff that is feel-good and it makes me happy and inspired, so that’s the kind of album I’m working on right now and I don’t know when I’m going to be done. It’s still in the works, but I’m not far.”

The new album would be a follow-up to Twain’s 2017 album, “Now,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album charts.

Some of the new material will be ready to perform live by February. That version of “Let’s Go,” will be themed for love, as it envelopes Valentine’s Day. December will be infused with holiday spirit. But the core of the show, regardless of the season, will be such hits as “Any Man of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “You’re Still the One” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

So Shania doesn't know when the new album will be finished?!? Are you kidding me? She has had over a year to finish it. Typical Shania. She wastes so much time doing God knows what. Now she's in London. I guess she might release a Christmas album in the Fall (but I doubt it) and then release the studio album sometime early next year. The lead single could be released in January.

This is the worst possible news. I'm sooo disappointed and angry at her. Of course she's not reluctant to perform in Vegas. Vegas means big money, probably bigger than we can possibly imagine (I've read few days ago how much money Celine personally made every night with her two residencies and I'm not surprised everyone wants to have a residency there nowadays). Plus, in Vegas she doesn't have to move from city to city every night, she pretends to sing by paying someone to push the "PLAY" button on the same old backing tracks she's been using for years now (see From This Moment On or Man! I Feel Like a Woman!).

But I'd like to recap her statements about the new album:
- August 2020: she says she wrote enough songs for three albums and that she plans to release two albums back-to-back;
- October 2020: during a live streaming of The Woman In Me, answering to a fan's question, she said she already has a possibile album title in mind;
- February 2021: while in The Bahamas, she says she's getting ready to narrow down the songs she wrote for the album;
- May 2021: she says she's still writing songs and she doesn't know when the album will be ready.

Oh, and don't forget that back in December 2018, during the last leg of her Now Tour, she said she was planning to start writing songs for a Christmas album to be released in 2019 or 2020.

Cleary, she's making fun of us. We know for sure there are songs ready, her producer David Baron confirmed that on his Instagram account and she said that during an episode of her Radio Show.

But I guess it's easier to perfom in Vegas pretending to sing live and making big, big, big money every night for two whole years.

Based on the recent videos and picture, Shania and Stacy have been on Denise Rich's $50 Million yacht! Denise has written songs for several movie soundtracks so they must be working on "Heart Of Texas". So now we know where Shania has been hiding the past month.

ANOTHER PRODUCER! How many producers is Shania working with on her new album??? Mark Ralph produces Pop/Dance/Electro music. With all these different producers, what is this album going to sound like?

Yeah, the album will be more uptempo than NOW which I will like. But with all these different producers (I think 5 or 6 now that we know of), who knows what the songs will sound like production wise. That's what the "problem" with NOW was. Many producers with different sounding songs. I have a feeling the songs on this album won't be Country radio friendly either so I don't expect many Billboard hits again. We'll just have to wait and see (or listen). I'm keeping an open mind and hoping for a good album.

If the album is released in October or November, the lead single would probably be released in mid-late August. As far as the songs charting and getting airplay on Pop/Top 40 radio, I highly doubt music program directors are going to add Shania (who is technically Country) to the playlist. She wouldn't fit in with the artists they play on Top 40 radio today. Plus Pop/Top 40 radio doesn't play anyone over the age of 30.  It's basically the same for Hot AC radio stations.

Plus she was in London working with Ralph Mark who is a Pop/Dance/Techno producer. Along with David Baron and Simone Felice who are Indie/Alternative producers in New York. Sounds like the album is going to be a mixed bag.

The CMA Awards are tentatively scheduled for November 10 in Nashville.

Unless everything shuts down again, talk show hosts will all be back taping in the studio when the new season starts in the Fall. Most already are and even have some guests in the studio. Musical guests still tape performances virtually but might be back in the studios in the Fall. But either way (in studio or virtually), Shania still would be able to promote a new album whenever it is released just like artists have been doing for over a year. There is stuff she could also do online to promote the album.
