Some of the reviews make no sense she doesn't sound anything like Tayna Tucker, Maybe 40 years ago lol This tour seems to me selling out better than the now tour. It might even make close to 100 million by the time she finishes up especially if the first concert made almost 2 million with just 14000 sold out fans. Money wise she's making a fortune this year. Reused clothes, Small band, less dancers. Smart women. I'm thinking last tour. Back to another album. I do see a Vegas residency in a few years maybe hosting a major TV show like the voice or American Idol

I love that she brought out Tanya Tucker and Wynonna for MIFLAW but the performance itself was a trainwreck. You could hardly hear her again and when she was singing it was over her odd sounding playback track. She didn't look to be in sync the with Wynonna and Tanya.

Both Shania and Tanya started singing the first verse way too early and the band/audio techs didn't correct and the backing track came in.

What do people here who have seen her think?
I saw one poster who said she was great. I’ll see her later this month.
It’s interesting to me that most of the reviewers from the major publications have had good things to say. Most of the negative comments have come from small, no-name people and twitter.

I agree. I am a bit worried. She's been a little off lately. It's not just been one thing but a combination of things. 

There's a video Adam Lambert posted at Starstruck a few months back where she seemed super confused. He was standing right in front of her and she didn't see him and seemed very surprised.

Musically, as I've said before I don't mind at all if she lip syncs, but her backing tracks and timing have been very strange. 

There's been several videos I've seen from some of the recent shows of her holding out the mic for the audience to sing or talking while the playback is still going, which is very obvious. Also it's very strange when she's singing harmony on several of the songs instead of the main melody. It's very obvious and not a good look. I say this not to be negative but out of concern. 

I also think the synthetic cheap looking wigs are really out of character for her. I know many celebrities wear wigs but there's look good - not like they are from a cheap Halloween costume. 

My point it is that I could not imagine her doing any of this just a few years ago. The previous tours and residencies were top caliber productions.

I also find it really strange that she now starts several songs live Acapella and then stops the song and says she is going to start from the top and the band and playback track come in. I've seen videos of her do this for YTSO, WBHYBBU, FTMO, HIH and FAFA.

I saw her just a few weeks ago. The things people are saying are “odd” or “off” aren’t. The show was amazing! its the same things she has done in The past. someone just posted that they are concerned by a video of her with Adam lambert - seen the video. It’s usual Shania. Not a new thing. Tons of videos from the Up era like it - check them out on YouTube

I was at the Nashville show. I honestly thought it was the best concert of hers that I’ve ever attended.. and I’ve seen both Vegas residencies, as well as the Rock this Country & NOW tours. I don’t know why she’s getting this sort of negative attention
 maybe it’s the rise of TikTok or something, because literally everyone around me at the show seemed to have a blast.

I watched the video of the MIFLAW performance of that night. This is probably her first time of singing the chorus (some of it) in front of the public, without lowering the key. Surprisingly she can make it.

She is so eager to singing live in her concert, but turns out she screams/yells to “show off” her voices. I appreciate she does anything she likes at her age, but obviously she is not with someone can provide good guidance to her, which she really needs one.

"Inhlae/Exhale Air" (with Breland) in again, "Pretty Liar" out, replaced by "I'm Outta Here". It's a good choice, "Air" is definitely better live than "Liar".

When they were singing Man I feel like a woman the stadium still seemed packed so unsure if people were actually leaving. There was another tiktok video that said the same thing and people were just getting drinks. Most reviews have been actually positive from the media with a scatter negative review which happens. Most people are enjoying it the ones complaining most not all haven't even attended. I am sure Shania is reading the feedback but unfortunately she is probably stuck with the agency who's running this tour. Her record label and management are completely an embarrassment because this album had so much potential. Love pretty liar but glad it was removed. Tanya Tucker couldn't sing at all and looked like she was drunk then Wynonna she sounded amazing and can hit notes but they were all a bit off especially Shania. When you are going to bring two country icons on stage to perform at least rehearsals before the performance would of been wise. Stop using backing tracks for some songs and live at the same time it just seems off. Either live or use a backing track. Her voice is completely shot then anything I've ever seen. I think she needs to seek medical treatment and see the best Dr in the world to see what can be done to improve her voice and get with a vocal coach right away. Mutt must be looking at this and feels embarrassed for her he has too. I wish she would work with him again and make some good country music and some duets with big Stars. Her behaviour is off a bit and she absolutely thinks she sounds fabulous. Her family and her team better get there act together and tell her the truth. I see comments she's doing this to make money in all honesty she doesn't need the money. If I were her after this tour she should stick to making albums and stop touring because her voice can't handle it. Tommy made a point while back this tour is way to big and she's really not acting the way Shania usually does. We all love her but she doesn't need to try so hard. She's made a great impact on music and will always be one of the best country Cross overs ever.  Money wise this might her biggest money making tour to date. She needs to either fix this mess of a tour now or the reviews will keep happening and fans will not be happy. People saying everything looks fine well maybe some of the tour but Man I feel like a Woman with Tanya and Wynonna was a complete mess. Hopefully it improves. I also don't see a third single getting released but Giddy up didn't do bad and many people seem to enjoy the song. Spotify speaks for itself. Just giving an opinion, Big Shania Twain fan but this tour certainly seems challenging for her. I also believe she can sing live but she's not warming up before each show. She can't be because if she was she would detect the technical difficulties with certain parts of the songs. I still love the new album though just the promotion like I mentioned earlier was horrible.

I was at the Halifax show.. and it was FANTASTIC!!! She was FIRE!!!

 

Sold Out crowd-- it was loud - it was electric... !! 

 

I took my daughters - who turned 11 on the day of the concert... I think it's safe to say they had a pretty EPIC birthday!!

Yes they loved it in Halifax. Seemed better organized and Shania Twain seemed to have a blast with her fans. Some criticism is normal but no one can't deny most of her concerts are sold out and she is certainly making a fortune off this tour. I'll be curious when they start updating sales for each concert. If the first concert made almost 2 million with only 14000 people imagine the concerts that are close to 20000 people plus. Glad you had fun.

It's kind of funny to see all the different opinions about this tour. Because I've seen a lot of people say it's the worst tour they have ever seen and then I've seen other people say that they enjoyed it a lot. It's almost like all these people are seeing a completely different tour every night. And I know that every night is a little bit different but some of them are acting like it is so different that I can't help but laugh.

Shania Twain to thousands in Moncton again tonight

It was a packed house of over 8000 Shania Twain fans at the Avenir Centre.

The Queen of Me performed last night.

Her set list included well-known songs such as Don’t Impress Me Much, Don’t Be Stupid, From This Moment and Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under.

The show attracted young and old to Moncton from across the Maritimes and beyond.

Twain will perform for a second show in Moncton tonight.  Tickets are still available.

I got the last pair of these boots and fun fact they’re actually a size too big for me BUT they were on sale and I absolutely had to have them!! Side note - There’s only one bed these boots have been under 😂
