Land ho! We're bringing along some incredible artists to celebrate Tortuga's 10th anniversary! Eric Church, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, and many more are hitting the beach in Ft. Lauderdale with us April 14-16, 2023. Mark your calenders: Our alumni presale begins Nov. 15, and passes go on sale to everyone Nov. 18 🐢https://www.tortugamusicfestival.com#TortugaX #XMarkstheSpot
You can only buy passes for all 3 days. Eric Church will definitely headline night one (Friday) since he is the least popular. Then will it be Kenny Chesney on Saturday and Shania on Sunday OR Shania on Saturday and Kenny Chesney on Sunday?

The show must go on: Tortuga Music Festival expected to open on schedule after historic Fort Lauderdale rain
By Ben Crandell | South Florida Sun Sentinel | April 13, 2023
Festival organizer Live Nation on Thursday confirmed that gates should open on schedule at noon Friday at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park with normal procedures in place and the performance schedule intact.
***Reminder: Shania will be performing at the Tortuga Music Festival tomorrow night at 8:25pm ET. I think she'll sing "Waking Up Dreaming" and "Giddy Up!" from Queen Of Me and save the other 3 or 4 songs for the tour. We'll see.
When is one of my Favorite songs on come on over I had a feeling that song would be added to the tour, I am curious too see what other older songs she adds on the Queen of me tour. Looking forward to the Video post and photo updates on here tonight and tomorrow. Wondering if she will wear wigs or keep her hair style lol
People are not happy with Shania's voice, sound, etc.
The audio from MIFLW that was just posted to Instagram sounded messed up. It sounded like her track cut out and you could only hear the backup singers.
Based on the videos I've seen so far. I think she sounded pretty good. Love the live vocals. Hopefully they get the sound issues fixed before the tour, seems like there was an issue with mixing her live vocal, backing track and the background singers. Could also just be that the concert is on a beach and not in a venue like an arena with a proper sound setup.

I can’t even stress how proud I am of her. It’s like she’s cycling without helping side wheels. Literally the whole set was sung live 😍❤️ no backing tracks, the autotune to a minimum. Jusr some support every now and then of the backing vocals. Deep deep respect ❤️
Maybe my expectations are a bit high considering she is the queen of country but that whole set was rough and it doesn’t seem like the audience was feeling it either. I listened to most of the set after my bar shift last night and was quickly deflated after hearing her voice in this bad a shape. I am not about to give her a participation prize just because I am a fan. I do, however, like how she sounds on records but these songs are set too low in key and she cannot hit those low notes live with much control.

i share the same feeling. The key is in a way too low and those songs are not exciting anymore. I don't mean I didn't accept the fact that her voice is permanently changed. but is it the most suitable key she should take? it seems she got lost in searching key when she started every song.
I do think there were issues with the audio which is why it sounded too low. In the chorus of Man I Feel Like A Woman and I'm Gonna Getcha Good you could not hear her over the backing vocals. I think it was more an issue with the sound engineering than her voice. I would much rather her sing live with some issues than lip sync the entire performance.
Tortuga that was FUN!! 💥 And the perfect way to kick off my year on the road! Thank you to everyone in the crowd for your energy - we had a kick-ass beach party!! 🏝️🤠 @festivaltortuga
Fashionista Shania Twain shares her opinion on world’s most controversial shoe
'My husband does not think they’re sexy, but I love them'
By Monica Rivera | Audacy | April 16, 2023
The jury is still out on whether or not Crocs are an acceptable form of adult footwear, so why not consult Country music and fashion icon, Shania Twain?
Shania recently joined Audacy’s Rob + Holly for a conversation ahead of her set at Tortuga Music Festival and with the beautiful ocean-front setting of the festival, Crocs naturally found their way into the conversation.
“I love them,” Shania exclaimed when asked if Crocs were on her “do not wear” list. “My husband does not think they’re sexy, but I love them… I like colorful ones.”
Well, there you have it. Shania is pro-Cros and according to her — the brighter the better!
Pro or anti-foam footwear, we can all agree on a love for Shania’s music and she just served up a lot more with her most recent album, Queen Of Me.
As fans continue to rave about the album, Shania is raising the bar with a Malibu Babie Remix of the fan-favorite, “Giddy Up,” which is taking her music to entirely new fans.
Hear more about the remix, fashion and music from Shania by checking out her full conversation with Audacy’s Rob + Holly above.
