I wonder what Shania's 'gift' will be. (I unsubscribed after Shania stopped doing her "Home Now Radio" show.)

Sam Smith, Shania Twain, Fred Again and More to Give 'Gifts' Via "From Apple Music With Love" (EXCLUSIVE)

“From Apple Music With Love” returns during the week of Nov 25-30, when each day at 8 a.m. PT, subscribers to the service will receive exclusive gifts — ranging from live recordings, new versions of favorite songs, a classic album rerelease alongside a brand new holiday album, and mixes — from Sam Smith, Shania Twain, John Legend, DJ Khaled, Harry Connick Jr. and, to kick off the series today, a Boiler Room set from British electronic ace Fred Again.

Fred Again (a.k.a. Fred Gibson) describes his Boiler Room set as “chaos.”

“I was almost helplessly present,” he told Apple Music, describing the insanely crowded Boiler Room set, which features DJs performing while surrounded by dancing strangers. “I always thought, ‘Well, when I do mine, I’ll have my best friend here and my other mate here,” he said. “But it was so rammed that my best friends couldn’t get close anyway.”

The set, which arrives in Spatial Audio, nearly went off the rails when one especially enthusiastic fan bumped into Gibson’s turntables, cutting the sound — but Fred took it well. “His name was Rodney and he was beautifully present as well,” he says. “So many people were like, ‘Why weren’t you pissed off with Rodney?’ It’s like, ‘He’s so not the enemy.’ He’s this joyful guy who’s everything you want your people to be in a club. He’s giving it everything. He’s there with you. He’s following you through every moment. So if his arm —or belly, as it was — happens to touch the pause button, who [cares]? It doesn’t matter. It’s a blessing. One sound cut or two is a blessing.”

That might come at a later time. It’s not unusual for music to be released on streaming platforms first

 I want the vocal mixes. We already have all the live versions and remixes of those songs. So I hope she will give us something "new".

I really didn't think we'd be getting the Come On Over: Diamond Edition. It's too big of a project to be only released on Apple Music.

Exactly my thoughts! but it would have made a lot more sense to include FTMO with The Backstreet Boys instead of Party For Two which has got nothing to do with the album.

Yeah, I don't really understand the decision to include "Party For Two". The song has been released 7 years and an album later.

It would have made more sense to include MIFLAW with Harry Styles.

"Party of Two" with Nick Jonas also features on digital-only reissue as part of From Apple Music With Love series

Shania Twain belatedly marked the 25th anniversary of her hit 1997 album Come On Over Sunday with a surprise digital-only reissue complete with duets featuring Elton John, Chris Martin and Nick Jonas.

The deluxe version was released as part of Apple Music’s daily From Apple Music With Love series; in addition a “refresh” with “Spatial Audio,” the album now features “a couple of special duet versions with some dear friends of mine to enjoy,” as Twain tweeted Sunday: Two exclusive and unearthed live renditions of “You’re Still the One” — one with Chris Martin from earlier this year and another with Elton John from back in 1999 — as well as Nick Jonas’ duet on “Party of Two” from the 2017 Stagecoach Festival.

“25 years ago I released Come On Over… and because of your support, that album went on to become: The biggest-selling studio album by a female artist of all time, the best-selling country music album ever [and] the biggest-selling album by a Canadian country artist …Crazy,” Twain wrote on Instagram of Come On Over on Nov. 4, the album’s true 25th birthday. Come On Over placed Number 300 on Rolling Stone‘s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Twain will return with some new music in 2023 as the country star will release her sixth studio album Queen of Me on Feb. 3.
