I'm never this guy, but I just have to say it. She sounds incredible. She really does. However, the show doesn't seem like much effort was put into it. 3 costumes? FOR VEGAS? The visuals look almost identical to what we've already seem. The motorcycle is exactly the same as the QOM tour. Predictable setlist. I thought she'd throw in a few surprises. Nothing from NOW? Really? I don't know, I just feel underwhelmed after seeing The clips. Doesn't seem up to par for Vegas. She needed to go BIG.

Ā IĀ agree with RollMeOnTheRiver. Production-wise it's a boring show with basically the same set and props we've seen the past few years. She added one "new" song - I Ain't No Quitter.

You guys are too much. Shania canāt win with you. Previously, some on here have said she relies too much on wigs, clothes, and props and not enough on the music. For this show, she is focusing on the hits- the music. Her voice and the sound overall were better than at any point during the tour. She is focusing on giving a quality concert without too much flash or bells and whistles. And, now, some of those who, during the QOM tour, endlessly lambasted her for supposedly being all flash without any substance are now complaining that the sets werenāt new or fancy or that she didnāt change her outfits more often. I have whiplash.

Ā Point is: she's still all flash and without any substance, only it got even worse compared to the Queen Of Me Tour. We're not contradicting ourselves, we are adding to our disapproval!
She's not at all focusing on giving a quality concert! Overall sound may have improved, but that shouldn't have to be a problem in the first place. Good sound should be the standard. A quality concert would include talented musicians, which at this point is only Lindsay Ell...
Shania didn't put any effort into this show, down to the props, costumes, dancer costumes, choreography, visuals it's all re-used!! You can't give a second hand show in Vegas! There's a standard and Shania's nowhere near that standard at this point! She's put parts of previous shows together and that doesn't work.Ā
At this point Shania's just making a fool of herself and destroying her career single handedly.
At this point I'll cherish her studio music and the videos from the Come On Over tour up till the Let's Go! residency and just leave it at that.Ā

Ā You are wrong, IMO. It looks like a great show and the crowd appears to have loved it. She isnāt destroying anything. She had record attendance for the QOM tour and the show last night looked full. The one review Iāve seen was glowing. Letās call a spade a spade. You are no longer a fan of Shania as she is currently, so why you post on a fan message board is beyond me. Why not just move on? You have nothing better to do than to make negative posts about someone you donāt know?
There are plenty of Vegas shows that are not glitz and glam. Ā Some of us go to a Shania concert for the music and to see Shania, not because of her hair color, wardrobe choices or props on the stage. The show looks to be fun and high energy.Ā

Ā I don't think I need you to tell me what I am and what I'm not.
I'm still a fan of Shania's music, I think that's enough reason to post on a fan message board...You really think I have nothing better to do than to make 'negative posts' (your words not mine) about someone I don't know?! Read that again and look in that mirror of yours since you're doing the exact same thing that you're accusing me of, love.
I'm just here to share my thoughts, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm just as entitled to share my view on things as you are, and if you don't share that view that's totally okay.Ā

Ā When you are frequently degrading someone and saying things like they look like a fool and are destroying their career (which they clearly arenāt), you have passed the point of being a fan. When one talks in such extremes, it signifies that they attach too much importance or significance to a person they donāt know. Iāll never understand why people take time out of their life to add negativity to the world. You didnāt just say you donāt like the show. You are calling her a fool because you donāt think her show is flashy enough for Vegas and didnāt change enough from her tour. Really? You may not like it, but they are clearly lots of people who do.Ā
You are entitled to give an opinion even if the opinion isn't positive. I'm a huge Shania fan but she herself said this would be a show unlike anything she has ever done. Let me see? Some of the costumes are the same as the lets go residency. She doesn't sound bad and I like the music style and loved that she changed the order of the songs. I don't have an issue with any of the songs because she is focusing on the hits. There were some weird moments last night about when she lost her virginity at 15? Like was there any need of that? Production wise it's not a high end Vegas residency. Doesn't mean she won't have a successful residency as the Queen of me tour was one of her most successful in years. The wigs don't bother me and maybe she will switch up her style per show. Regardless no one can't deny the money she is making. I'm in Newfoundland and the Churchill Park Music festival has sold out here three times in a row. She has an impressive fanbase and people pay for the hits which is what she delivered last night. I'm not hating on her at all just giving my opinions on certain things. She sang live and I love that part.Ā

Melissa, you nailed it exactly on the head... the big issue here is her saying that it would be a show unlike anything she has ever done when it's mostly all recycled (mixture of Let's Go & QOM tour). She made a big statement but didn't deliver. As a die hard fan, I was excited to see what she was going to come up with, and it is, to be honest, the outcome is a bit disappointing. I will def not be travelling to Vegas for this show, she is fine, I don't think this show is geared towards her die hard fans anyways. It is starting to be apparent that these shows are for the general public who don't follow her but know her hits (yes I know this is a greatest hits show) but it doesn't mean the production cannot be fresh. We don't have to agree with everything she does just because we are fans. We are allowed to voice our opinion whether positive or negative, but you are wrong to say otherwise Talkalot24. I have defended her so much since her come back, whether it be about her music or looks but I'm not able to defend this show.
I also like to add that we know what Shania is capable of doing. Her first residency "You're Still the One", the Rock This Country Tour and her NOW Tour were amazing. Everything since has been mediocre.
I agree with both Melissa and Honeyimhome. We are fans but it doesnt' mean we can't point out when things don't live up the expectations. She said she wanted the fans to be central during this residency, she talked about horses, a huge sphere to walk among the fans, taking songs requests and so on. Nothing of the sort happened. She's recycling things from the Stagecoach back in 2017 on. But I'm happy she's trying to sing live, even if it would be better for her to use backing tracks for some songs (AMOM, IGGG, WUD, FAFA, MIFLAW to name a few). And I think these stage and production can be easily used for the Summer shows, too
Iām waking up dreaming after a SOLD OUT weekend in Vegas ā¤ļøāš„ Thank you all for coming out to party with me for the opening of my Come On Over - All The Hits residency! I loved seeing so many familiar faces in the crowd!!
I created a page for all the residency videos. I will add "I Ain't No Quitter", "Rock This Country!" and "(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!" when they areĀ uploaded on YouTube.
Thank you for sharing the B-Roll! I was surprised to see myself in the "From This Moment On" section as I assumed they'd film opening night. Happy to answer any questions about the "From This Moment On" tickets and share pictures from the Saturday show:Ā https://www.instagram.com/p/C66cOa5Ls17/
This is not a bashing post, I am just curious if Shania works with a vocal coach/producer. I feel this is something she could benefit from. Yes, her voice is different, and she still has a good sound to it. I just feel she still struggle to figure out how to sing her songs. A vocal coach/producer could help with the vocal pitch and music pitch to blend well together. I've just notice in the past years that she seems to scream/sing-talk what she might no longer be able to sing, if that makes any sense. I just feel with professional help (not that she not professional, but her singing voice is new), she would be able to put less strain on her vocals with adjustment to the music. Just a thought.
The energy in @bakkttheaterlv was electric š¤ ā”ļø Thank you for coming out and selling out another show!! And a special thank you to my new friend Joseph who joined me onstage for a little duet. His T-shirt said āItās a Shania thing you wouldnāt understandā š Love it!
I attended the May 15th show and it was great! Shania looks fabulous and her vocals are strong! It was a sold-out show and the fans loved every minute of it!
Now that was a kick-ass weekend in Vegas!! What an honor to have @therealdavidpaich, @rayparkerjr and Yvette join me on stage - I love playing music with my friends! And I made a new friendā¦ though it look me a little more time to convince Milo the dog š
She recorded a new version of MIFLAW. The verses are live but the bridge and the chorus aren't. And the final part is pre-recorded, too. A new version though, not the album one used from the Now Tour on.
Shania's mentor when she was a kid and future first manager, Mary Bailey, attended Shania's Vegas show last week.
Simply Shania tribute
It was an honor to meet Mary Bailey at Shaniaās show in Las Vegas last week! I had the opportunity to speak with Mary many years ago when Simply Shania was just starting out. So happy to see that Mary and Shania are still close. ā¤ļø #shaniatwain #simplyshania #shaniatribute #phvegas #bakkt
Another kick-ass night with you all in Vegas ā¤ļøāš„ We celebrated a 100th birthday for dear Mary in the crowd and the fabulous @jvn came by to see the showā¦ How cute were their shoes!! Iāve gotta get me a pair of those š
