Her performance is set to be a standout moment, bringing her chart-topping hits and dynamic energy to our stage.â
More artists are set to be announced at a later date.
That's huge, I am wondering how this all came together.?That's quite a few headlining shows. She so deserves to be acknowledged this way I mean not many country artists get to this level of success and are still successful 25 plus years later. Canadian Queen!
This is really, really great indeed! I'll be in London the week of her Hyde Park show so I'll definitely be there. Plus, The Corrs will join her, they're one of my favorite band and I've never seen them live before.
I wonder if she's planning more shows in Mainland Europe in the Fall, she has 3 Vegas-free months in the Fall.
Knowing her track record, Shania will probably spend those three months in Switzerland relaxing. I doubt she'll use it to record music considering it takes her about six years to release a new album these days.
I have the feeling she doesn't spend much time in Switzerland anymore. She stays in Vegas as much as she can lately and she has a recording studio there.

Why doesn't she ever seen Ka Ching in the UK or Ireland? Wasn't the song a hit over that way
I was listening to Ka-Ching in my morning playlist today and I remembered this is a song with a lot o criticism over capitalism, the video was based on cassinos, and they are pictured as a very bad place to be.
With that in mind, I think it would be complicated for her to sing it, while she's in her third residence in Vegas...
(Although I completely agree with the message of the song, and it is very applicable to current days).

Cheers,

I also think that she can no longer sing it well. That's why. And people have kind of forgotten it.
Has anyone seen pics from the concert in Cork Ireland? I'm from England so I'm just a little surprised that there doesn't seem to be many about yet. I know that she's very popular over here and the concert would have been very well attended. The BBC seem to be really pushing her Glastonbury performance coming up very well and I'm sure she'll go down a storm.

Shania Twain. Stirling, review: Fresh from Glastonbury, tartan-clad Twain revels in the rain
By David Pollock | The Scotsman | July 3, 2024
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
"I want to savour this moment, because it's not going to last forever,â said Shania Twain from Stirlingâs new Summer Sessions stage, radiant with transatlantic glamour and glossy hair extensions. âI hope you're all nice and cosy shoulder-to-shoulder.â Two days after her Sunday afternoon âlegendsâ slot at Glastonbury, the Canadian singer headlined on a chilly Scottish summerâs night.
She seemed dazzled by the devotion of a crowd here just for her, admiring the sea of cowboy hats and leopardprint, and gazing out over the scenery. The audience had an even better view, with Stirling Castle immediately behind the stage, despite the unseasonally dreich weather.
Twainâs set reflected her careerâs stages, with anything from her 1997 global megahit album Come On Over essentially met with feverish adoration. Donât Be Stupid (You Know I Love You) opened the show on a burst of light-hearted energy, Youâre Still the One inspired a mass singalong and That Donât Impress Me Much kicked the closing section up a gear.
Elsewhere, other songs worked harder for approval, reflecting Twainâs latter career, where a 15-year break from substantial recording has blossomed into re-energised comeback success with last yearâs Queen of Me album. Up, her tribute to âpositive optimismâ, and the sparky Iâm Gonna Getcha Good were early highlights amid segments of time-filling conversation.
These included a sweet onstage photo opportunity with a couple of young fans, and a tribute to Scots fashion designer Siobhan McKenzie, who created Twainâs short tartan/leopardprint skirt. The Scots connection continued with nice moments where backing singer and Shotts lad Paul Clark was given centre stage for duets of From This Moment On and Party For Two.
The closing stages became livelier with Rock This Country and the inevitably beloved finale of Man! I Feel Like a Woman!, leaving the crowd on an excited high, although for many a rainy wait in a gridlocked car park which lasted as long as the concert took some shine off the evening.
Still, Twainâs optimism helped. âYou know at this time of year in Canada it's sometimes snowing or hailing?â she had asked. âI'll take a little drizzle.

Honouring Shania Twain with a Bespoke Engraved Guitar Showcasing Her Irish Ancestry
By EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin | July 5, 2024
In celebration of her Irish roots, Shania Twain, currently captivating audiences across Ireland and the UK, has been bestowed a bespoke guitar by EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. Crafted by acclaimed Irish illustrator David Rooney and researched by genealogy partners at The Irish Family History Centre, this exquisite instrument intricately weaves together the narrative of Shaniaâs profound Irish lineage through its artistic motifs.
During her recent visit to Ireland, Shania Twain was honoured at Malahide Castle, where EPIC and The Irish Family History Centre presented her with this special guitar. Adorned with intricate designs symbolising her familyâs journey from Ireland to Canada, the guitar deeply moved Shania, who expressed her heartfelt appreciation for its thoughtful craftsmanship and the meaningful gesture.
The presentation of the guitar at Malahide Castle resonated with both personal and historical significance, highlighting the enduring impact of Irish emigration on families like Shaniaâs. The bespoke guitar stands as a lasting tribute to her heritage, embodying the spirit of resilience and cultural pride that defines her remarkable journey.
Shania Twain, born Eilleen Regina Edwards, revealed in her 2011 autobiography, âFrom This Moment On,â that she was named after her Irish grandmother, Eilleen Pearce, who was born in County Kildare and played a significant role in raising her. This presentation not only honours Shaniaâs musical achievements but also her deep-rooted connection to her Irish ancestry.
Yeah, It has to be said the weather has been terrible over here for most of the summer. We did have a bit of a decent spell about 3 weeks ago or so, but she has been unlucky with these recent dates. I suppose you do take that risk over here outdoors, but it seems like people have still had a great time.
The prerogative was to have a little fun this Summer, come rain or shine⌠well we had both in equal parts and we had a BLAST!! đĽ Touring the UK and Ireland holds a special place in my heart - A lot of precious memories came home with me from this trip â¤ď¸ Thank you!!
