Why does it still say Track 3 on Apple Music?

This new album is going to be a great addition to Shania’s catalog. These songs are a bit different than she’s done before, but still “Shania”.

Now, this song I can get behind! Actually really like it!!! It reminds me a bit of Last Day of Summer and I love that song.

I love it! I feel like I spent much of the 90s and early 2000s wondering why Shania was so private and this album feels like an invitation to her fans to really know her. I’m so excited for this album and just this era of Shania in general. I cried at the Rock This Country tour (all 5 I went to) thinking it was truly her last tour. Now look at her?! I feel grateful and lucky she’s still gracing our lives in truly moving ways. Little Miss Twain tugs on the heart strings 🥹

I've had it on repeat since last night. I'll say it again her best work in a long time. The production was amazing. 

I agree, She needs to perform it live and promote it. I honestly think radio should play it. Number 3 in Canada in the top 100. Dirty rosie wasn't even as close. The more people who hear it and spread how good it is will help It do well. The album will will probably do decent. Like I said this is country and not sure if her age plays a big factor. I'd be shocked if she didn't do a music video. Not sure why she didn't with dirty rosie

 I am as well - I just lost one of my closest friends last week suddenly so combo of that and an emotional song just sent me

I think AI was used in the lyric video. Most of the old videos used in it were old pictures that I had seen before. Kind of cool to see the pictures brought to life, but I wonder if people find out she used AI that she’ll get backlash for it.

I found the credits for Little Miss Twain (song). It was produced by Zach Dawes who is best known for producing music for Lana Del Ray. Eja sings background vocals on the track. Dirty Rosie was also produced Zach Dawes. T Bone Burnett plays guitar on both tracks, but did not produce them. 

I loved Little Miss Twain. It was so moving, emotional and deeply personal. You could really feel Sharon’s dream for Shania, and a mother’s love in every moment. ❤️

 I totally agree. She sounds really great. I don't know why they work so much on her voice during the post-production. Her voice in Dirty Rosie is quite unlistenable

"Little Miss Twain" is an amazing single; I am very curious about the other songs. I am expecting even better songs to come. Her autobiographical album could be very successful if she does a promotional tour. Why isn't Shania doing live TV performances? This second single needs promotion because I really believe it can do decently in some countries like Canada and maybe the UK. I also think the music video might already be shot for the second single and might be released on the day of the album release. I'm expecting Shania to head to North America once her gig is up after Ireland. I know I post a lot on here for a new member, but I seriously believe "Little Miss Twain" (the single) could be doing better. Tommy, could adult contemporary pick up the song?

“‘Little Miss Twain’ is very autobiographical,” Shania says. “It explains my childhood and my experience as a young artist, but also how important Tanya’s music is in my life. I was reflecting on the naivete of becoming the next Tanya Tucker — no one in the music industry was going to see me and think that, but my mother was sure that somehow along the way it was going to happen. I often wonder what she would have thought if she could’ve seen what’s happened in my life.”

On an album full of the most honest songs of Shania’s career, “Little Miss Twain” might be the most distinct portrait of her childhood and how it laid the groundwork for her to become the beloved star we now know. In the chorus, Shania remembers her mom driving her to sing in bars as an eight-year-old and imploring her to learn Tanya Tucker’s catalog as both inspiration and aspiration. Tragically lost in a car accident in 1987, Shania’s mother never saw her daughter’s career take off.  I hope, but I’m doubtful. These just look like clips of her riding around her property. It doesn’t seem like the song is being pushed to radio, and it’s already not generating any traction so I think these are just promotional songs ahead of the album release.

"Dirty Rosie" was definitely a single (lead single) and Shania said "Little Miss Twain" is the second single. Like you said, the songs just don't generate any traction and are not made for radio or Billboard charts. Period.

When she described the album during one of the promo interviews, she said there's a bit of soul, bit of country, and a bit of pop (or something along those lines). So far, I am not feeling much of the "pop" so I wonder what songs fit that category. Regardless, I am very excited for the album.
