1/Shania never loved/cared or repected her fans ...WRONG 2/That she has no pride or self respect...WRONG 3/ That she cares nothing that a NEW member paid to join SFC yesterday.WRONG 4/She cares nothing about STC....WRONG 5/She cares nothing about her passion of music WRONG 6/That she jerked chains just to be mean spirited in redbook..WRONG 7/That she has no backbone or guts to announce her retirement in a proper manner.WRONG 8/That she cares nothing about all her support people/band members etc.WRONG 9/ That she cares nothing about what the industy(including Dolly) thinks of her..WRONG 10 That she wants to hide away for the rest of her life riding horses, after having an unstoppable will and drive, against all odds(timmins???)....WRONG 11/That she was just a big spoof and just about money....WRONG
Let me say this..... I would hate to be one of the bashers, if some time down the road, she announced a life threatening illness within the family that made her have to hold things down....NOTE....There is ZERO evidence of this...I am throwing it out only to make us ALL think before you throw her to the wolves....I BELIEVE IN SHANIA......Only you's can decide if you want to believe in her or not..But in my books....SHE AIN"T NO QUITTER

There have been many comments that shania is nothing less than a total liar.If you agree that someone lies as a MOTIVE to attain/coverup etc, then please tell me what was Shanias motive to lie to the world,even as recently as Red Book. Personally I would suggest that most do not like to be considered a liar even within our "little" worlds.Having said that,it is impossible for me believe that a lady like Shania, would conduct her self in a manner, that would brand her a liar around the "world".. This is only my opinion but again please respond to my question...What would her motive be?
Finally...If you buy into my thinking that she is NOT a liar then you decide......WHAT CARRIES MORE MERIT .What she said in a organized/professional sit down interview for a huge publication magazine, or what she said on a windy hill top to some off the cuff reporter,who runs up to her,throws a mic in her face ,and asks her(on her own land) an obvious question.
I have been told many times....Bob take your meds.....That is a joke...I am VERY calm today....Having said that others might consider a trip to the doctor....
In closing I will say this....I am much more concerned in what both Tommy and Angie said and did not say yesterday than what Shania said. I do not view other forums but wonder what direction other site moderators are giving or not giving their members.... I checked into this and words get lost in translation. Shania did not say the word permanent. She used the same word her management has the last few years while she is working on a new album. She said she is on indefinite sabbatical which means that she could announce at anytime when she is ready to release new music. Indefinite means no time line which means when the album is ready she will announce or release it. You have to actually see her interview because things get lost in traslation as reporters put their own twist on things. So things are just like they were last month, she is working on an album while she is on indefinite sabbatical and when the album is ready then she will be releasing it.
Actually Walter... Your news has already been reported on this site...At 8:40am this date Twainee(under breaking news section of this site) broke to story. She emailed me the link on a private.. It is an exellent report on the event and what Twainee reported is EXACT... Since she choose not to put the link/article etc on forums I am respecting her private message but TRUST me it does NOT say permanent is this newspaper.....Go figure....But again....If you start to flap your mouth off on these things too quick you will quite often put your foot in it. Yep, Hardy is trying to promote his cd by giving Shania fans some free stuff. He also knows more than he lets off since he can't say much because he is Shania's friend. If he was a real supportive of Shania fans he would get a straight answer from Shania to relay to her fans. He is all part of the game they play with fans.

Shania doesnt' deserve the benefit of the doubt. She has been contradicting and misleading for many years. And she really doesn't care of the perception people have of her. That is okay to not care what critics think of you but when you totally ignore the fans and blow them off then that is another thing. I hope big national newspapers in Canada report that Shania is retiring despite her sayin all last year she has an album in the works that she is almost ready to share with the fans. This would force somebody on her lazy team to make an officical announcement or clear it up because this news is spreading all around the net which is no big deal to Shania. But once it gets to a big national Canadian newspaper then somebody will do damage control.
Bob, your analysis at the start of this thread was brilliant. I like how you listed all these false beliefs of Shania and rebutted them. Bravo on a job well done. Shania is not lazy,a liar or any of the other things you listed. I guess we will hear soon enough when her new music will be ready. Walter is in the minority here.
