Shania's management was contacted. They said they are unaware of that comment by Shania and said Shania is still a client of qprime and she is still working on new music.

You seem to be pretty quiet over this last couple of days. I thought you were the one who had connections and knew what is going on lol!!!
However you spell Gayle's name, that is her statement.
Which is more than I can say about what you have contributed.
I hope you do realize that Shania is losing what little reputation she has left because of all these lies and contradictions and nobody clearin anything up.
And you are the one  who claims to know people who are in contact with Shania.
So if that is the case, What do you have to say to the fans?
You want to continue playing this game with the fans or is somebody going to tell the  truth.

Sorry if I don't post 24/7!  Who cares?  I'm not Shania's manager or publisist so I don't make press releases.  That's not a "game", that's a fact.  ;)

Walter I think you are taking things far to seriously. So what if Shania said she is on a permanent sabbitical? As far as I could see this was a very clever way to shut up a reporter who would be asking the same questions (over and over) pertaining to new music. (I think she was asked to sing lol) I think she was clear in the Redbook article. Shania is coming out with new music. The question only is will it be this year or next. I'm betting next.

Yes I have to agree with that I Think Shania Twain is working on a new album and will be releasing this year. I also wanna let you all know do not beleive anything you hear about new Shania Twain music unless it is announced on cmt.com or a radio station or www.shaniatwain.com remember this is a site that says one thing then ends up saying another two weeks later. So Ya I am in Canada and I am 100% Shania Twain will be back this year and how do I know this well she said at the 2007 ACM awards that there will be an album out in 2008. Also I read the redbook magazine Shania did say she is working on new material for 2008

According to the "experts" within her camp it seems like a no go. I myself think there is hidden info and that we can still see a good opportunity for this fall.

After all it's still only March. Long way to go yet.

We can all sit tight, Shania will be back, she's just not setting a time table for her work.  I'm assuming a new cd won't come this year but, the year's still young.  She'll be back!  ;)

Hello Bob, Angie and all. Hope this message find everyone well. Angie, I have to agree with you. I don't believe Shania was setting a time table for herself. I think she hopes it would be ready for 2008 but I did not think she was certain. Remember the UP release was delayed. I know it is still early in the year and the late fall is possible however my gut tells me it may very well be next year.

Shania doesn't want to put any pressure on herself and now they've gone public with their separation, any creative work has took the backburner for a while, but at least, she's not going to go away forever.

Pressure? It has been 6 years without a new studio album.
I sure wish I could live under that kind of pressure.
Pressure is what average people go through everyday working 2 jobs to put food on the table for their family.
Pressure is not trying to put out an album in 6 years and having all the resources in the world to do as you please.And this goes double if music is your passion then  you would want to be out there touring and making music.

I only give my opinion. It doesn't bother me if most here don't like me.
I have been a fan longer than most here.
I just don't treat her like a God and I say how I honestly feel, there is no law a against that and there is no rule against that.

My only motive is that I am a Shania fan who loves her music.
If you go by the rules then Bob would of been banned long ago.
